afrodoc2: Messi has largely underperformed in the world cup when put in perspective of his club's performance. Messi has underperformed in the world cup when compared to Mbappe, and some other players. Even Kane scored in one world cup all the goals Messi has been scoring for decades in the world cup Messi would not be said to have underperformed in the world cup when compared to Rooney and Ahmed Musa. The conclusion therefore is that Messi cannot replicate his form when taken from world class team mates. 1 Like |

odizeey:Check his goal vs Chelsea, he did damage from the right. He has stood in for Kane whenever he is unavailable and he has delivered time without number.
