somehow: ![]() Some Dudes are really funny on this Thread I swear. Naby over Iniesta as an AM, or Rakitic as a CM?! LMAO Well...... you've given him the right Response. |
tbaba1234: ![]() Finally! |
![]() Maintaining a Decorum is becoming a tough Task on this Thread. If we can't respect each other on a faceless Forum, then how are we gonna regard each other in real Life?! There are few Monikers that are apparently known as Elders because of their Experiences with the Eagles and their Manners of posting. I'm really a big Fan of them, and always like reading their Posts coz it's full of wisdom and Enlightenment. We need to stop throwing Tantrums at Anyone who ain't in Tandem with our Points of View. Let's endeavor to respecting each others Submissions and Points of View without resorting to Name-calling. Thanks. |
"When somebody is champion and deserves to be champion, they deserve for people to say that [they are worthy champions]. I’m not going to come here with excuses like I didn’t after we beat them, I didn’t make it like it was the biggest victory of my career and again I told him [Pep Guardiola] you will win the title sooner or later because they have been the best team. And, if it wasn’t today, it would be the next weekend. "I won titles. I wouldn’t be happy if somebody says I won the title because somebody lost a match. Manchester City won the title because they won more points than anybody else and, yesterday, they beat Tottenham and because, during the season, they have only lost two matches. "You’re not going to say that City won the title because Manchester United gave them the title – it’s not fair for them." - JOSE MOURINHO |
"I congratulated them [Man City] face to face when I had the chance to do it. I knew, sooner or later, that would be the case. If I was in that position, I would be very upset if they say they won the title because Manchester United lost to West Brom. "They won the title because they were the best team. Probably because I won eight championships, I was not over the moon with the victory against them. That doesn't make me feel super happy but, in my opinion, it affected, for sure, some of the people that was too happy with just that." - JOSE MOURINHO |
“In the first half, I felt that I had to bring one player with more dynamic and more of a run and more of a player that touched the ball and searched for spaces, so I had to make a decision about one midfield player out to play Jesse Lingard. "After that, I wanted to get more width and Paul [Pogba] had a yellow card and before the substitution he had a situation, not for a second yellow card but you never know in football the way the referees react to that. Paul’s game was complicated – like many others, always one more touch and one more turn.” - JOSE MOURINHO |
“I know them [my players], I smell, I have a lot of experience and that’s not me because I won eight titles and I’m not in the moon because I won against Manchester City – a match that is only three points. But I saw lots of people in the moon because we won against Manchester City like winning against Manchester City was the most important thing of the season. "I won too much to just be happy with one big victory and during the week I was trying to fight that because I was feeling and you could see the difference of attitude in some players today compared to other weeks. Masters of complication – we complicated our football since the beginning and gave West Bromwich Albion the chance to feel quite comfortable in their football.” - JOSE MOURINHO |
“I think we were deservedly punished because we were masters in complication. Players didn’t want to or couldn’t play simple. "Everything was slow, everything was one more touch, one more flick, one more trick, one more turn, ball lost and no continuity or fluidity in our football. "I don’t think we deserved to lose but we gave them the opportunity to win the match by being solid in defence and smelling a chance in a set-play which they did.” - JOSE MOURINHO |
ottohan: ![]() Guess you heard Khloe on the Stage?! If you ain't closer to her, you won't understand or appreciate her. She has a soft Heart according to a HM who spent Weeks with her in an isolated Entity. |
![]() This Final Week of Big Brother Naija (Double Wahala) gonna be like Game of Throne. CeeC gonna act like Queen Daenarys Targeryan - Mother of Dragons; she is ready to burn anyone blocking her Way this Week. Miracle gonna act like Jon Snow; expecting him to keep company of CeeC, but smartly play his Game and claim the Crown in the End. Tobi gonna act like Lord Baelish - he's gonna be gossiping around as usual, and wouldn't be surprised if his Head (Votes) ends on a Spike. Nina gonna be like Sansa Stark; a Fool but getting stronger as Days are going by. She ain't gonna win, but she tries at least. Alex gonna be like Cerci Lannister; Viewers should watch out for a fierce Battle between her and Ceec. Let the Game starts.......... Shall we begin?! |

![]() We don't have full-backs Aswear! |
dopeJemi: ![]() I expect too much from the talented Midget to be candid and kinda disappointed he's fluffing in this Match so far. |
Nice Sub though. |
![]() Mata should pls find a Club in the Summer TW. Mou should also learn to play the right Player on the RW and strictly instructs whoever he plays there to maintain his Position and tactical responsibility. It's apparent there was a poor understanding among our Midfielders and Wingers in the first half because of Mata. Sanchez didn't know where the Fool will be, thus must look up before making long Passes. The Eediot keeps impeding the tactical plays and positions of Sanchez and Pogba, as if he's authorized to play 10. I need Martial on the RW sharply in the 2nd Half abegi. |
ChrisKels: ![]() Don't be annoyed...... he's certainly not happy with the development and kinda wasn't expecting a Regular to get involved IMO. |
![]() Valencia can't even make just a Cross in this Half?! The Dude needs to learn how to make a one-time Cross ffs! |
I'm glad Mou plays 4 - 3 - 3 again, but kinda unhappy seeing Martial on the Bench. We need to play more of 4 - 3 - 3 Formation than 4 - 2 - 3 - 1 for effective and efficient attacking Footie. The Trio of Pogba, Mata and Sanchez gonna be a Joy to watch in this Match. They gonna connect well tactically and intelligently. I expect us to win this Game by at least 2/3 Goals margin - with a CS for De Gea. |

Kog45:The emboldened should have been basis but it panned out to be......?! We are too emotional to some little Things at times. This Discourse should have been friendly discussed and everyone would have learned one or two things, but alas! We must turn everything to tribal Supremacy. This is one of the reasonable Threads uniting all Nigerians together, however if we can keep off tribal Ish out of this Thread, then we are calling for the End of this noble Thread. |
I think the Discourse should be ended before it kills this Thread, coz in the long Run, many of us on this Thread gonna be EXPOSED! Some are itching to comment, but they don't wanna expose their true Identities - the same Identity Forgiveness is often tagged. Let's get rid of Tribal-Supremacy Debate now, before it gets rid of this wonderful Thread. Happy Sunday to y'all! |
“I am going to fulfill the year that I have left but I do not know if I will renew [my contract]. We have started talking but nothing is decided yet.” - ANDER HERRERA |
larride:....... for the Remainder of the Season, I think he's the best we've got for the Position. As pinpointed by you, we need at least a solid RW for next Season, in fact I won't mind us getting 2 RWs and 1 RB. |
I've seen enough of Lingard playing 10 for United, hence I hope to see Sanchez in the Position and Martial on the Left. Having the Trio of Martial, Sanchez and Mata behind Lukaku gonna be a Hit, and a Joy to watch. I hope JM will hopefully try it out in the next Match. Meanwhile...... I hope to see Liverpool win this Year UCL for EPL sake and pride! |
........ and you expect Youths to rule this Country?! What are we gonna gain from this Post? what Impact is it gonna have on the Country?! SMH |
Pogba seems lazy, but Matic and Herrera are obviously Hard-Workers on the Pitch, hence they can be covering up for Pogba's defensive Lapses. I ain't defending Pogba's poor attitude to Games at times, but I think with freedom to be an attacking Force with little defensive responsibility, he's certainly gonna be a Hit consistently. Mou should kindly jettison 4 - 2 - 3 - 1 Formation, it's no more working for the Team. He needs to play to the Team's Strength. Hopefully United gonna sign Fred and 2 more Midfielders in the Summer TW, thus the Team needs to start mastering 4 - 3 - 3 Formation against next Season. United also need at least one RWF, hence I wouldn't mind Dybala or Griezmann or both. If there is an Opportunity to get the Duo, Ed Woodward shouldn't hesitate at all. |
Pogba needs to play in 3-man Midfield to thrive. He needs to play a free-role, dictating the Game and connecting Defence to Attack. Mou should play 4 - 3 - 3 in our subsequent Matches. He should play the same Lineup against Man City, but replaces Lingard with Mata. Mata is good at drifting inward, and can smartly and decisively linkup with Pogba and Sanchez in buildup play. Also I hope Mou has Learned one or two things from the 2nd Half of the City's Match. We should never respect any Team anymore. We should attack our Opponents at the blast of the kickoff Whistle. Finally, Mou and his Armies should reward the Fans with FA Cup. They should do their utmost to win the FA Cup for the Fans. GGMU! |
Afz9095: ![]() Malaria........ you need to visit a Doctor or a Herbalist.
|
ollah2: ![]() What are you insinuating pls?! Who was Mou's predecessor at Madrid and what was his Records in the UCL pls?! |
ChrisKels: ![]() SMH..... yet no one called you out?! Ain't they Nigerians?! What do you intend to gain with it pls?! |
![]() We did it! Nice one.......... #LoluForce! Kudos to you Guys! |
