Should have used my reserved GK instead of De Gea, the Lad got 10 fùcking Points ffs. I thought Everton gonna be pummeled by Liverpool bur..... but was disappointed.

This is my debut Season though, and I'm certain to improve and probably be in the top 10 in the next Season.

Man City want a Title bigger than the League Cup, FA Cup as well as the EPL Trophy. They want to win UCL Trophy, and that's the Reason Pep is hired, trusted and completely given freedom to spend as much as he can to get the Dream realized!

What has Pep achieved so far that distinguishes him from his predecessors - Mancini and Pellegrini precisely?! Winning the EPL this Season for Man City won't make him "special" in the History of the Club, cos he's not the first and certainly won't be the last to lift the EPL Trophy for the Club.

Pep is a good Tactician, and I'm a huge Fan of his philosophy, but he needs to prove his Stints at Barcelona ain't fluke. He failed to lift UCL Trophy at Bayern despite inheriting a UCL winning Squad. He's also failing to beat the UCL Record set by Pellegrini, his immediate predecessor, thus tagging him a FLOP ain't over-emphasized.

Mou, though I ain't a Fan of his Tactics and Philosophy, has proven himself with Porto as well as Inter Milan in the UCL, hence until Pep lifts the UCL Trophy with another Club, he and Mou ain't Mates.

Eruditor:
La Porte had transfer clause. Totally different. He was waaay less without the clause.

The point about Stones is..in this day and age his value was 50M. Let me even just go as recent as when Smalling was a hot prospect. How much was he?

Oxlade Chamberlain was 35M in this market. And Cantona was 1.2M. Andy Cole was 7M. Is it fair to compare?
grin

Good for admitting Laporte is lesser in value than the Amount City coughed out to sign him, though due to his Transfer Clause - that's another Variable you failed to consider with your simple Arithmetic Logic.

Also, you've proven Pep is indeed a Cheque Book Manager that spends simply to win the League instead of spending on Values. Coz how can you explain spending £57m on a Player that worth far less?!

Seem you are really toeing Raumdeuter's Path?! I asked you what Price of Stones would be during Ferdie's Epoch, you are replying with Questions?!

Lol!

Eruditor:
When you guys are fixed..next button is name calling.

Chelsea tried to get Stones earlier the figure was the same. Everton wanted something huge for him. Simple.

The question should be, would Stones have cost 50M in Fergie's day? Not at all. So a manager who paid 10M for Stones in 2001 for e.g is not less of a spender than the one that coughed out 50M for him in 2016. Markets changed.
grin

The emboldened is exactly what I'm talking about, that's one of the Variables you are failing to understand. Chelsea is a big Club, also a big Spender, hence that does not determine the real Value of Stones.

Has Stone proven himself yet?! What about Laporte....... £57m?! Is he better than Lindelof United paid £30m+ to secure?! Pep is spending recklessly and outrageously to win the League, that's the Point.

Laporte, Stones ain't a better Player than Adarabioyo. Hence during Ferdie Era, how much do you think both Laporte and Stones would cost?!

Eruditor:
LOL.

Formula.
grin

Yeah..... what you are failing to understand is simple as ABC. Let's assumed the same Stone Man City bought for £50m was priced by Southampton instead of Man City, do you think £50m would have been the Price?!

You ain't living up to your Moniker, coz I expect much from you than the warped Logic you are serving us. Also, I'm kinda sure your Eyes are clear that you've goofed but you don't wanna admit it.

Raumdeuter jumped in at some Points, but he quickly learned he ain't gonna win or able to twist the Argument - he jumped off and disappeared. You've failed to prove your Points beyond reasonable Doubt, hence I advise you to quit and enjoy some Sleep.
European Football (EPL, UEFA, La Liga) › Re: Official Manchester United Fan Thread:''20 Times EPL Champion by Oasis007(m): 9:13am On Apr 08, 2018
Dear Eruditor..... sometimes you win, while Sometimes you learn. You can't win this Argument with your pre-nursery arithmetic Logic.

You spent whole Night making no sense, cos you are still unable to prove your Points mathematically and scientifically. This ain't a simple arithmetic Class where Kids are learning Multiplication and Addition of Numbers?!

There should be a formula, or a Theory that clearly explains how you arrive at the Figures you are quoting. The Stone that City bought for £50m could be bought by another Club for a lesser Price cos he's not a proven Talent yet.

Thus there are factors and variables that must be carefully considered, mathematically analyzed and scientifically proven, but you are only proving your Points with simple Arithmetic.

If you are a Scientist, the World wouldn't have developed a bit, coz you would have woefully failed to propound a Theory or make a worthy Discovery.

"It feels great to score two goals but it's an even better feeling to win against City and not let them win against us in their own stadium.

"I feel very happy but there is one side of me that is disappointed too because a performance like this in the second half, if we had done this all the season, I think we would be fighting for the title with City or we'd be just in front of them."

- PAUL POGBA
European Football (EPL, UEFA, La Liga) › Re: Official Manchester United Fan Thread:''20 Times EPL Champion by Oasis007(m): 9:28pm On Apr 07, 2018
"I said at half-time that my midfielders couldn't play better than they were playing. It's difficult to play against City because they press really well and are compact and their transition is really strong.

"I told Matic, Herrera and Pogba that they could not improve a lot from what they did in the first half because they had confidence to play and to move the ball and give passes. I was asking more from my central defenders especially to play with the ball because in the first half they were really shaky with it at their feet and there were bad mistakes.

"I needed more from my wingers, I wanted them to come inside and give more solutions to our midfielders. So we improved in the second half with that, I was not asking for Paul to improve because I was already happy with what he was doing in the first half. But he scored two fantastic goals and I'm really pleased for him."

"I'm really happy for the fans because I know for the fans the result against a direct rival is always important and recently we did it against Chelsea, Liverpool and now City. For them it's a nice feeling.

"I said before the match in an honest way that my objective was not to spoil any celebration because they are going to celebrate sooner or later. The objective was to fight for points because we need points.

"Even if Manchester United doesn't win the title for the next 50 years, Manchester United is Manchester United and if I don't win anything I am Jose Mourinho and the players are the players.

"We are honest people and honest professionals and we always try to do our best. I am really, really pleased for us as a group that we can finish in the top four and we have a big chance to finish second with this fantastic result."

- JOSE MOURINHO

"I told him [Pep] congratulations because they deserve the title. Of course they're frustrated because they wanted to do it today but I congratulate them because they are going to win it and deservedly so. They have more points than the other teams and they gave no chance to the others.

"I keep saying we have had a better season than last season, more victories, more goals, more points, less goals conceded, everything has been better for us but it was not enough because of the season they have had when they have not stopped winning.

"But we are not the team that people think we are - we are not as bad as people think we are, I'm not such a bad manager as people think I am, the players are not so bad as people think they are and that's what we are going to try to prove by showing we are the second best team in the country, but for that we need the points."

- JOSE MOURINHO
European Football (EPL, UEFA, La Liga) › Re: Official Manchester United Fan Thread:''20 Times EPL Champion by Oasis007(m): 9:24pm On Apr 07, 2018
"I gave them the example of many matches when a team is losing 2-0 and can recover so credit to the boys because they believed and they kept their shape and it's a very important result for us because mathematically I think we need six points to finish in the top four.

"That objective is the compulsory objective so we need six points in three matches at home and three away. So I'm pretty confident today has helped with that and to finish second I think is very important.

"I think we are four points ahead of Liverpool with one match in hand and we are four ahead of Spurs and City need to beat them to win the title. Our challenge is to finish second."

- JOSE MOURINHO
European Football (EPL, UEFA, La Liga) › Re: Official Manchester United Fan Thread:''20 Times EPL Champion by Oasis007(m): 9:22pm On Apr 07, 2018
"I was really sad with their first goal because their first goal came from a corner and that's the third corner I think they have scored against us from this season.

"And it was in the moment when the game was completely in control. Then after the second goal it was important for the players to stay confident.

"Matic, Pogba and Herrera had the ball and we moved the ball and we had more of the ball than normally a team has against Manchester City.

"So it was just a question of keeping our confidence and bringing the lines up a bit more and pressing a bit higher and waiting for a goal."

Whether we attack..... they (will) still score,

How did mou park the bus in the first half oga?
grin

Let me explain it in simplest Term for easy comprehension; park the Bus (in my Term) means going defensive - thus did we play defensively in the first Half or not?

Whether conservatively or not, defensive Tactic is defensive Tactic, and the Stats are there to shed more light just in case you need more details.

His Approach failed him and we could have disgracefully lost the Match in the first Half - thanks to Sterling. We were only attacking cautiously and occasionally, and immediately switching back to mass Defence Tactic anytime we lost the Ball.

That's all I've got say Bro...... hope you are satisfied now?!
