United have between now and Tomorrow to finalize the Deal or forget Sanchez for this Transfer Window. |
“That is my understanding, yes [that Mkhtaryan is part of the Deal]. Of course, I like him as a player. If it’s a possibility it’s because I like the player. "We played many times against him when he was at Dortmund. He appreciated the quality of our games and the way we play football so that’s why he loves the club. The wages will not be a problem. Look, this would be an exchange of players, I think one will replace the other. Are we still in the transfer market after that? Yes.” - ARSENE WENGER |
"That is a story that is well documented in the media, so I’ve not got a lot to add. It may or may not happen. It’s at that stage. If it doesn’t happen he will play on Saturday. "I’ve worked on transfer for 30 years so it’s likely to happen but at any moment things can break down, that’s how the market is. As long as it is not over the line, you have to accept that it could not happen. These kind of things are never guaranteed." - ARSENE WENGER |
SANCHEZ-MKHITARYAN UPDATE Sky Sports News understands talks are continuing tonight between Arsenal and Manchester United over Alexis Sanchez and Henrikh Mkhitaryan. There is no agreement between the clubs for either player at this stage and either are yet to comment on reports that Sanchez has agreed personal terms with United. Arsene Wenger said on Sunday that he expected Sanchez’s future to have been decided by Tuesday. It is understood talks over a proposed player swap have prolonged negotiations. |

Mickael2:Seem you do not know Puel is a ghost Member of this Thread?! The Pressure has gotten to him, thus he had no choice but to twist his Tactics and Formation to suit our Iheanacho style of Play. On a more serious Note, I really found it hilarious and petty when Puel was pummeled here as a bad Manager, a Racist who favors English Players to African Players. Dudes forget the same Manager is playing another Nigerian - Ndidi - week in week out. Ndidi was bought like any other Nigerians into the Team, he got his Chance(s) and grabbed it. I think Puel is confused that Ndidi is a Nigerian?! Iheanacho should stay at Leicester City and keeps honing his Skills under Puel. He shouldn't be deceived into moving to a lower League, cos that ain't gonna be a good Decision for him and his Career. |
AIG07:Both Verdy and Okazaki are aging, Slimani believes he has reached his Peak, hence does not want to rot on the Bench or keep playing second fiddle to Verdy. Iheanacho is still developing, he's in the right Club, under the right Manager and with Time he's gonna be indispensable in the Team. |
Humility017: ![]() You indeed want something more reasonable to be said, coz it's apparent in your choices of Words. |
![]() I will not rejoice until the Deal is official. Also It ain't a bad News to get JM pinned down at United, but he needs to prove he's better than his Rivals in the League. I'm really hoping he's gonna mercilessly trash Pep's Team before the End of this Season. |
When we said Iheanacho should stay and fight for the Shirt at Leicester City, Some Dudes nearly got us lynched, coz they believe Bristol City has the best Manager in the World, in fact - Puel is a worse Manager comparing to the Bristol City Manager. Also when we opined that Iheanacho is better off as a SS, that he would conveniently and confidently thrive in the Position, some Dudes believe he has been drilled to play as a lone Striker, hence he should continue his development as a lone Striker. Iheanacho had a good Game because he's ready to fight, he ain't wanna run to a lower League. He knows the Match is like a Trial to him; had he played badly, he would have been on the Plane to Bristol City this Morning. I'm really happy for him, but we need to be patient and see if he's gonna replicate the form and be consistent with it. Form ain't permanent, but class is. However, the combo of both makes you a world class Player. Iheanacho ain't a world class Player, not even close to, at the moment. He has the potential to be, but truth has to be said; he's not and far to it for now. Finally, to those mocking Kayode because Iheanacho had a good Game last Night, I guess you Folks have never pointed Fingers at Forgiveness as a Tribal Bigot. Shalom. |
diggz: ![]() Did you see Iheanacho?! He got three Chances in the Box and buried all, except one was adjudged as a Goal-Kick before the Assist was made. Chelsea should swap him with Morata, coz he ain't gonna be wasting Chances. |
TheGoodJoe:Slimani is likely to leave, as well as Ulloa and Musa, thus we should be envisaging Verdy - Iheanacho Combo. |
Danielnino00: ![]() He has improved a lot. He didn't isolate himself in the Match. He's confident on the Ball and got two deserve Goals. I really hope to see him in a Combo with Verdy in the next Match. |
![]() ...... but he won't be allowed to go Home with a Ball by the Manager. ![]() The good News; he's likely to play the next Match from the first Minute. |
Iheanacho has the 2nd Goal! |
Nice Control and finishing from Kelechi! |
GOtv gonna show the Leicester Match Live. |
nezzar: Deceive or post an update? |
femianski:He will play as a SS, behind Slimani. I hope he grabs the opportunity by making himself undroppable after the Match. |
Breaking News Leeds United have confirmed that Cameron Borthwick-Jackson’s loan spell has been ended early and the left-back has returned to Manchester United. |
funlord:The Ball is in his Court according to Raiola. He holds the Ace to decide the Deal. If he chooses to stay, then getting Sanchez gonna be hard, except Arsenal is willing to sell him to us without involving Mkhtaryan in the Deal. |
CapitalCee: ![]() I think there is something we are getting wrong on this Transfer Issue. Arsenal really want Mkhtaryan, and they are ready to swap him with Sanchez. It kinda seem Arsenal made the Approach, they offer Sanchez to United in exchange for Mkhtaryan. United couldn't resist the Opportunity, but Mkhtaryan is seeing Arsenal as a Step Down. |
