Nigeria: Musa Not Going to Turkey, Says Agent

Super Eagles striker, Ahmed Musa is not interested in a move to Turkey. His agent Tony Harris said the player will remain in England and take his chances with the Foxes.
]

There are indications that Turkish Super Ligue side, Bursaspor and Leicester City are in negotiations for a loan deal for Musa who is yet to start a game for the former English Premier League champions this season.
Bursaspor's representative Hasan Parlakay confirmed their interest while speaking with reporters.
"Ahmed Musa is a very influential player who will be able to add value and class to us," Parlakay said.
"If we are realistic, we cannot buy him. But he wants to play with Nigeria in the World Cup. For this you have to keep playing and keep form in the league. We have players in our team from the same national team, [Mikel] Agu and [William] Troost-Ekong.
"Wearing the Bursaspor shirt on loan until the end of the year is an attractive offer. We hope to give good news in the coming days."

However, Harris who disclosed that as much as three top Turkish clubs are keen on having Musa, said the dashing winger will not consider a move.
"We have indeed been approached by the top three clubs in Turkey but Musa is not keen to go to Turkey just yet.

"There's a big chance that Musa will remain in England. I'm however, surprised about the link to Bursaspor.

"I don't know where the rumour came from. "It's a complete joke and a figment of someone's imagination. Rest assured Musa is not going to Bursaspor," said Harris who also represents Super Eagles defender William Troost-Ekong who players for Bursaspor.

You ain't still getting it Bro! So you believe every Crap you read Online?! You really believe every Site's Report(s) is credible and authentic?! LMAO!

When asked if Musa might go in January, Puel replied: "We will see. Perhaps it could be a possibility. We will see with the player and the opportunity for the club also.

"I need to have discussions about some players."

please forget it....that Harris of an agent is only concerned about his pocket...

the main reason they want turkey is because of the wage...and nothing more.
Sorry to say; you need to adjust, and stop being emotional and sentimental. Can you tell me the Difference between Forgiveness accusing Rohr of taking Bribes and you accusing Musa's Agent of being greedy and selfish without Evidence?!

What's certain is; Musa is definitely gonna move to another Club in this TW. Puel has hinted it already, hence he needs to sort it out with his Agent.

He can not dare or afford to make a wrong Decision. Thus he and his Agents need to carefully opt for a Club that gonna guarantee him playing Time.

The same Harris is the Agent of Ekong, so what say you about Ekong Transfer to the Turkish League?! You are making it seems as if the Agent hates the League, whereas he's only trying to get the best deal for his Client?!

Or are you taking Musa for a Fool?! He can't think straight, nor knowing what's at Stake by not playing regularly in 2018?!

Relax Bro! You can't love Musa more than he loves himself!

Neither Puel nor Shakespeare will coach a team to go out and attack Manchester United. It takes courage, tactical insights and long hours on the training pitch passing out instructions to help the team operate as an offensive Unit.

Sorry, Shakespeare or Puel are far from that. I mean, Puel could not set up his team offensively against Fleetwood.

I expect him to keep the Duo of Ozil and Sanchez till End of the Season, but United can still nail Ozil down in this Window, if truly we are interested in him.

He has every Right to speak to Suitors or reaches Agreement against Summer. United can sign him now, and unveil him finally in the Summer!

Are we not Monitoring this Oezil situation?
I prefer Dybala too, but I think Griezmann can play the Lingard Role better, coz he has already used to it at Atl. Madrid.

Also I wouldn't mind to have both in the Team next Season. Dybala can play as a right Winger. He gets the pace, skill and stamina to deliver excellently as a right Winger.

Jose Mourinho will make an official move for long-term target Mesut Ozil this January, according to reports.

The Mirror believe Mourinho has been given the go ahead by club officials to make a bid of up to £35m for the Arsenal midfielder.

The same report claims United will still have an uphill battle to sign the German, as despite being out-of-contract in the summer, Arsene Wenger is reluctant to sell during the transfer window.

It is believed that Mourinho would prefer to wait until the summer, but is wary of a potential auction with European giants PSG and Bayern Munich both ready to make a move.

Now that barca has gotten coutinho that means we no longer have any rival for griezmanns signature...looking forward to seeing him in red by the summer then
I think they've not given up on Griezmann yet, just holding up till Summer cos it's gonna be a fair Bargain by then.

Griezmann price now is €200m non-negotiable, but in the Summer it's gonna be reduced to €100m..... very fair Bargain and worth waiting for!

"Everybody wants to go, everybody wants to have a week of good training, good facilities, but now it still depends on the Stoke result [against Coventry City on Saturday] because if Stoke gets a draw, we don’t go to Dubai! We go on Monday but, if they get a draw, we don’t go.”

“[It was] unfair [to take Mkhitaryan off] and I told him that at half-time. I didn’t like what I did. He didn’t deserve it, he was playing well, he wasn’t playing bad. He had a couple of missed passes but he was playing well and giving a good dynamic to the team.

"My feeling was just that Rashford is not going to score a goal and because of that I’m not going to lose time and I’m going to play Romelu [Lukaku] so then I had to sacrifice a player. Micki was the one that I sacrificed but it’s something that I don’t normally do but I did at half-time and apologised to him in front of other people because he didn’t deserve it.”

He [Lingard] is the opposite of Marcus [Rashford] because in training, he [Marcus] is scoring unbelievable goals but is coming to matches and missing unbelievable chances, hitting the post and the goalkeeper saves, so clearly the players have these moments.

"I’m not worried with Marcus because the good moment will arrive and Jesse, if a negative moment arrives, I don’t think he will lose this stability that he’s showing. He’s mature, he understands the game better, so clearly he’s becoming a real player.”

“It was an amazing strike [Lingard Goal]. Just recently from our fans [he was] the player of the month. [He scored] an amazing goal at Goodison Park and now he scored an important goal for us, but honestly everybody is happy for him and the team really deserved this.

"He’s in a clear evolution. I think he’s comfortable in the positions he plays, I think he’s improving with the progressive style of play of the team. He’s playing progressively in a different way which makes him feel even more like a fish in the water and he’s in this moment where things go well for him.

"Again my feeling was good, because the players played well, the attitude was good, they created chances, they had shots, continuity in the development of the game, they never lost their brains, they kept playing the style and the way we want to play so I think it is very much deserved.

But I think we played well, I think we had a good game, I think they gave us a difficult game because they defended very, very well. But I think we deserved the victory.

"To be honest, I don’t think we need a replay. I don’t think a team like them fighting for promotion needs a replay but that’s the rule of the competition and we almost had to go for a second game.”

Like you have ever made excuses for them before. Well maybe because I'm a stallholder in the league. The refs aren't the problem of the league, the problem with the league is the lack of attention given to it by the Nigerian public. Even if the games are live on the, it still needs humans to make it a football match. What is a league without followership?

Let them? Who's the "them"? Police won't see reason why a stadium with less than 200 spectators would need up to 10 policemen, but imagine a situation whereby we have 20k people watching live, they have no other option than to post at least 100 security agents to the venue.

It's easy to sit out and be pointing fingers though.

Patronise the league and see if it won't grow or become better.
You are taking this Issue too personal. I think this Topic is raised to proffer Solutions, to suggest the possible ways of improving the League.

Kindly be patient, coz no one is willing for the death of the Local League.

Bad officiating is as a result of home team officials putting pressure on the refs and with less security men around, refs are humans, they get to succomb so as to leave their unhurt. Some of our refs are even better than those you watch on TV but because of what I stated above, they are made to look bad which in turn affect them outside Nigeria.

We are the main reason we aren't being respected outside. The places I went to watch live matches with peace and security, the refs made few errors which aren't different from what we see abroad. Let people come to stadiums to watch and see if the refs won't do well.

The league of 80s and 90s that had no violence due to the fact that the stadiums were always filled up, were they not Nigerians officiating these matches? Na because we dey see easy access watch foreign league just as other things in Nigeria, we decided to abandone ours. We keep painting it bad to justify the abandoment.

Make we continue o. Angel Gabriel is coming to fix the league.
grin

We all want the best for the League. I hope there will be improvement this Season, since all the Matches gonna be aired "Live". I expect our Refs to buckle up, we can't be making Excuses for them every time. If their Problem is Security, let them fully demand for it from the Board.

They should not go on the Pitch to officiate until their Security is guaranteed. We can't really say our Refs are better, coz there is no Evidence to prove it.

I followed 3SC and MFM FC, it's kinda a pity 3SC is relegated, but all Hope ain't lost coz MFM is there to support this Season.

One of the major Problems of the Local League is; bad Officiating! I really give Kudos to Shehu Dikko led Board. They are really doing their best to improve the League standard same as the Officiating!

The Good News is; all the NPFL Matches gonna be aired Live on Startimes (NTA Sport Channels). We gonna have the Opportunity to watch the Local League, and I expect Viewing Centers to show the Local League for FREE.

The League viewership would definitely improve this Season, and I implore Members of the Thread to, perhaps, create a Thread for it.
