Ibra and Lukaku upfront means Ibra would mostly be a SS and we know he's not fast. The player partnering Matic in the CM, Pogba, is not known for being that fast or Fellaini that is slower, so the transition of ball will most likely be slow. Except we flank with Martial and Rashford, play via them and they're instructed to make crosses. And in defending, anyone expects Ibra be chasing ball?

With the Pace of Mkhtaryan and Herrera..... do we have any Head-ons in the Transition?! This ain't about pace, rather intelligence. Ibra playing as a SS gonna be better than having Mkhtaryan playing as a 10, coz he's a proven Goal-scorer, he can hold on to the ball firmly as well as creating Chances.

Yeah.... I expect United to play more on the Wings with Martial/Rashford on the Left and Mata/Mkhtaryan on the Right, hence scoring Goals from Crosses would be a huge Advantage. Also Pogba is a creative Midfielder, he's gonna be freed to roam, dictate the Game, while Matic shielding the Defense as well as doing the dirty Jobs.

Bro.... just imagine a Lineup with Ibra and Pogba in it, guess you know the Formation and the Tactic ain't gonna be setup to park Buses?!

Herrera and Mkhi cant connect the defence with attack they are just clueless. Even Rooney will do a better job than miki in that AM position.

Herrera is certainly going back on the Bench, once Pogba returns. Also I expect Mkhtaryan to probably move to the RW with Mata deputizing for him, while Martial and Rashford keep battling it out for a starting Berth on the LW.

Btw, I think Lukaku's best position is as lone CF always inside and around the box, this is where he's most dangerous, we can see the result cos of his time off these areas. He needs to stay there and be patient while it's the teams' job to get the ball to him to score.

For me, we lost the game in the midfield. We've a thin one though due to injuries.

Pogba is back, same as Ibrahimovic and Rojo. I think JM may switch to 4 - 4 - 2 Formation to accommodate both Lukaku and Ibrahimovic in the first XI.

Mkhtaryan has got his Chances, but he won't just seize it. He has failed to nail down his Position in the starting XI, hence I expect JM to make the Decision with no pressure.
