tbaba1234:That's simply an Assumption not a proven Fact Sir. Until they are played together, we wouldn't know Boss! |
Icon4s:You are right Boss, Mikel has been exceptional so far for the Team as an AM, but in the Africa Qualifying Matches (against African Teams). It ain't gonna be a big Deal to nullify Mikel as an AM against non-Africa Team, hence if the Team is built on Mikel playing as an AM, it may tactically backfire, coz its easier to man-mark an attacking Player (as Herrera tamed Hazard last Season). |
soetanoreoluwa:Matic and Pogba have no Pace, but their Combo (Pivot) was superb for United. When Pogba was injured, Fellaini, another slow Player, came in for him in the Lineup and still maintained the Team's Balance. However, the Pace of Herrera couldn't help the Team to maintain the momentum after Fellaini joined the Injury List, rather it collapsed the Midfield. Mikel is an experienced DM, same as Ogu. Can they fit in perfectly.....?! YES! |
Icon4s:Boss..... Mikel should rather play as a deep-lying Playmaker against the Argentines. Possession-wise we can't outplay the Argentines, hence Mikel Vision and long Range Passes gonna be a huge Advantage to counter-attack the Argentines. Defensively, the Team would switch to 4 - 2 - 3 - 1, and offensively play 4 - 4 - 2. |
soetanoreoluwa:Yes Ndidi is a great Tackler, but calmness on the Ball and Confidence supersede Tackling; the major Reason I opt for Ogu. Besides, Ogu is a Threat outside the Box, he's likely to convert 1/3 Rebounds from the Corner Kicks. |
Icon4s:Iheanacho has shown he can press and track-back, thus the Team can switch to 4 - 2 - 3 - 1 with Iheanacho becoming an AM. Because it will be easier to launch a Counter-Attack with Iheanacho playing behind Kayode. He gets the Pace and also can give a decisive Pass. |
Joebie:Prof Joe! I understand your Point, and kinda appreciate your in depth Knowledge in the Game, but there is something I wanna make clear Boss; Managers and Coaches know what's good for the Players, they see them in Training, they know their capabilities and weaknesses. Can Iwobi play 10...?! Yes! But can he play the Position satisfactorily?! Not Sure! I remember Dudes claiming Etebo best Position is AM, he was tried there Yesterday and we all saw he's ain't made for the Position. Mkhtaryan claimed his best Position is 10, and Mourinho was playing him out of Position last Season. He gets his chances this Season, he was exceptional in the few Matches, but now turns out to be a ghost of himself. At Dortmund, he played mostly on the LW, he banged Goals and Assists, won best Player in the League..... yet he's not satisfied playing on the Wing at United. I believe he has seen the Light now! I may sound too rigid with my Submission on Iwobi best Position, but I believe his Handlers ain't making Mistakes by playing him on the Wing Sir. |
damagnificentusb:It's kinda funny when you come online and read Stuffs like Iwobi is the best AM option for Nigeria. Perhaps they think he's the new JayJay. Iwobi is a Winger, in the Mould of Sanchez. He ain't a creative Midfielder who can orchestrate the Game from the Middle. Rather a type that can do the damages from the either Wings. |
TheGoodJoe:Which Position is he playing at Arsenal?! Did he develop his Game as an AM or a Winger?! I'm ain't seeing him as a natural AM rather a Winger with freedom to cut into the Box, rather than making Crosses Only. |
Some Dudes keep saying Iwobi is an AM, and his Handlers - Wenger and Rohr - are kinda silly playing him on the Wing. LOL! Alex Iwobi is a left Winger, he can also play as LWF, SS and RWF. He's never an AM and I don't know why some of you are forcing AM on him, whereas his best Position is playing on the Wing. TheGoodJoe: ![]() It's simply a Reflection of your Love for VicMo. Lol! |
Mickael2:Yeah! I know it can easily be changed to 4 - 2 - 3 - 1 tactically with the Players on the Pitch. If the 4 - 4 - 2 ain't working, Rohr could ask Iheanacho to change Role from SS to AM and still maintain the Balance of the Team. |
TheGoodJoe: ![]() Victor Moses against Argentina ke?! LOL! |
Mickael2:What's your take on the Formation and the rest of Players in the Lineup?! |
Mickael2:So who would you prefer in the Midfield?! |
Humility017:I know Ndidi is a good Tackler, and kinda already accustomed to 2 DMs Pivot at Leicester City, but experience-wise I'm gonna go with Ogu. Trust me, Ogu is better than Ndidi. |
My preferred Lineup against Argentina. (4 - 4 - 2) Formation needs to be tested by Rohr, we can't rely only on 4 - 2 - 3 - 1 every time. ------------------- Akpeyi -------------------- Shehu ------ Ekong --- Balogun ------- Aina -------------- Ogu ------ Mikel -------------- Iwobi-------------------------------- Onyekuru ----------- Iheanacho --- Kayode ------------- I picked Akpeyi over Ezenwa simply to know if he deserves a place in the Team to Russia. This should be his final Test, and if he fails it, then Rohr should stop inviting him. He's more exposed than Ezenwa professionally, hence it's a big Shame Ezenwa is considered ahead of him as Eagles present No. 1. The Backline is solid against the Algerians. I think it's better we allow the quartet to starting gelling together henceforth. We need to know what they can offer in Russia, starting from the next (Friendly) Match. Ogu and Mikel Pivot gonna be a good Combo. Both can tackle superbly and shield/hold on the Ball excellently. While Ogu is dealing with short Passes, Mikel would be dealing with long range Passes to the frontline. They do not need to attack, rather allow the Wingers - Iwobi and Onyekuru doing the Job. Their primary Assignments would be; shielding the Defense, controlling the Game and freeing up the Wingers and the Strikers doing the damages. Iheanacho is a creative Player, with good eyes for Goals and decisive passes. Playing him and Kayode upfront gonna be a Menace for the Argentine Defenders. Iheanacho can shoot from outside, Kayode gets the Pace, Onyekuru gets magical feet, and Iwobi is technically gifted. I hope to see what the Lads can offer in a 4 - 4 - 2 Formation. |
Onyekuru gonna be a Joy to watch on the LW, can't wait for his full Debut. |
It will be hard for anyone to replace Shehu in the starting XI, the Lad is heavenly made for the RB. Aina also is fantastically good as a LB. It will be hard for Rohr to put him on the Bench henceforth. |
Nwakaeme should be subbed off for Oyenkuru/Kayode and should never be invited again! |
![]() Ezenwa can't ever be Eagles No. 1 at the World Cup! I hope Rohr gives Uzoho a Chance in the next Game. |
tbaba1234: ![]() ........ and he bangs a nice Goal with his left foot from a long Range! |
Ogu ain't as bad as some Dudes are painting him here. |
Seem Eagles are playing with a new Jersey Model?! |
GOtv channel 31 is showing it. |
POGBACK
|
safarigirl: ![]() Is there anything wrong with it?! Well, it depends on individuals Views sha! If they ain't Qualities to you..... Fine, but to me they are. BTW; I guess VicMo, Ndidi, Aina and Iwobi ain't Qualities too, coz they play in England! |
GOtv will air the Match Live!
|
Humility017:Did he ever claim he's an Agent to any of the Anglo-Nigerian Players?! Even if he is..... the Players he does mention here are top Qualities and deserve to be considered for the Call ups (if they are willing to play for us though, perhaps after getting their Allegiances). Honestly speaking, the Dude is doing a great Job on this Thread. He's following these Lads, he knows them, he relates with many of them, and could be a perfect Asset for the NFF and the Technical Crew in the Future. |
"They have to work every day but they are in a good position now. Pogba, Ibrahimovic, Rojo, Fellaini. "They are in good positions so I think we can go into this part of the season, the Christmas period, and after, in a strong position." - JOSE MOURINHO |
“In the last 18 months, from intelligence reports I have received, Delta has about N150billion debt. What was the money used for? If you say uduaghan dragged the state into over N300billion debt in eight years, in 18 months you are owing over N150billion, so in eight years, what happens?" - Oke Idawene https://www.naija.ng/1061067-delta-state-acquires-massive-n150bn-debt-within-17-months-of-okowas-tenure.html -------------------------------------------------- Can anyone from Delta State show us any of the Achievements of Okowa so far?! |
It's obvious there are too much Sadists on this Platform. A Twit was asking for more Industries instead of Schools..... please is it Robots that gonna be working in the Industry?! Traveling is indeed Part of Education, coz I couldn't my Eyes in my last Visit to Osogbo. The last I visited the State Capital, it was a glorified Village, but couldn't believe the magical Transformation of it to a glorified Town (not a City yet). Half a Loaf of Bread is better than none, at least Aregbesola is paying half Salary to the State's Civil Servants, can someone explain why Dickson is owing Salaries?! I've been to Yenagoa many times, hence I can't be misleading by anyone here. If it's a bad News from the State, the Pages would have reached 25 by now, but because it's a good News, only few could comment despite the huge Number of Viewers! SMH! |
