"I will not tell you the team. First because the players don’t know yet, and second, with so many injuries. "I think that should be something that you can view with almost a guarantee of success, because our options are so few that it is easy for you to guess the XI.” - Jose Mourinho |
"Our goal is to qualify. Currently, our sole objective is to qualify within that context. "I think that one point away against the strongest of the three teams in the group is a positive result, but the match is also possible to be analysed outside that context and to be analysed in the context of a match that we want to try and win." - Jose Mourinho |
"Rojo is not coming to play but he is coming with the team to train today with the group. Tomorrow, individually, but he's coming [back]. "I would say, probably in two weeks, Marcos is ready to play. There is no Bailly - he was injured in the national team." - Jose Mourinho |
“First of all I should say I had no problem whatsoever with what Jose Mourinho did. He’s always done it and I expected it before the game. “Jurgen Klopp said afterwards that Liverpool could never play like that; well maybe his Liverpool could never play like that, but my Liverpool did and we did it plenty of times and got results on the back of it. “I think the criticism will be saved until the end of the season if results in big away games don’t improve and it costs Manchester United the title.” - Jamie Carragher |
"I don't see why not [going out on Loan]. Obviously, the summer transfer window has gone and there was a lot of interest. But the staff all came to an agreement that I would stay until January to build on what I've already worked for. "So I think it's certainly a possibility. We'll just have to talk and have a few conversations with the manager and certain people around here. I'm not ruling it out but we'll come to an agreement over what needs to be done." - James Wilson |
"The recovery is a process and I think I've dealt with it quite well mentally. If you're not training for 90 minutes, which you can't always do, I think it's really hard to get that unique fitness you need for a full game. It's just a matter of keeping playing games and staying as fit as I can. "I've listened to the advice of everyone around me and they have been brilliant throughout my process. I can't really describe it but it's like you really want to get out there. Yet you get little setbacks and how you deal with them is really important. The help from the people around the place is a massive part of that and they have definitely done brilliantly for me." - James Wilson |
"I'm doing well at the moment. It's really nice to be back outside with the lads and just be around everyone. They've welcomed me back into the changing room really well and I'm enjoying my time, trying to get back fit and doing my best for the team. "It's just about building your way back up to it by getting game time. That's the only time you can impress when managers and different people are coming to see you. They don't see you in training and that's the difference between training and games." - James Wilson |
JM really needs to change his Tactics and Mentality against Big Teams. It's not funny we couldn't win against any of the big Teams - very pathetic. Parking Buses with deflated Tyres every time against Top Teams is uncalled for, ain't they Humans in the Team?! Are we playing against Machines?! What quality do all these Teams get that we don't have?! Truth be said; it's simply an Act of inferiority Complex from Jose Mourinho. It's kinda frustrating and annoying watching United against the Top Teams. |

patrickmuf:I dey tell you! They are really unable to replace Lukaku in the Team. |
patrickmuf:Koeman is a big Disappointment this Season so far. He had the Money, but he spent it on average Players. The Idiot signed more than 5 Players, yet he's battling with Crystal Palace and Co for the Bottom 3 of the Table. |
“We came for three points but in the second half we found it hard to do that with the dynamic of the match. "I was waiting for Jurgen [Klopp] to change to go more attacking but he kept the three strong midfield players all the time and he had control. "The second half was like a game of chess but my opponent didn’t open the door for me to win the game.” - Jose Mourinho |
“When an opponent has this kind of defensive approach, you will not create 20 chances. "We were unlucky in at least two, maybe three situations, of course [David] De Gea made the save with the biggest chance.” - Jurgen Klopp |
“To be fair, it was a pretty even game in actual fact and not the best game in the world but it was a great defensive display from United, which says it all. "Before the game, you can ask any United fan, we’d have been happy coming away from here with a point today before the game, without question. We have and we’ve not conceded.” - Paddy Crerand |
“I think yes [it is a good point] because I think, even before we come here, it’s always difficult. "Today was a difficult game, a tough game and, in the end, a good point, I think. We defended well, maybe we can create a bit more but we take this point and we’re looking forward and thinking about the next game.” - Matteo Darmian |
“It’s always hard, especially when Liverpool are at home and they know they have to win in front of these supporters. It’s hard, the motivation was at a high level for them and for us. "We didn’t have many chances but we had two good chances that we didn’t take. But this is football and the most important thing was we didn’t lose the game.” - Nemanja Matic |
“I think we defended really well today, the same as the last games, and we needed to be at that level in the defensive part. "Romelu Lukaku had a good opportunity to score but he missed the chance. We need to keep doing well. It’s away from home at Anfield – a difficult stadium and a difficult team, so we’re happy with the point.” - David De Gea |

JM had a Squad that could play 3 - 5 - 2 comfortably against Liverpool Yesterday, but he chose to get a Point and he achieved it. United had Blind and Tuanzebe on the Bench, Blind could have played instead of Darmian in a 3-Man Defense, with Young and Valencia as Wingbacks, but JM went for a defensive Tactic hoping for a Counter to hurt Liverpool to no avail. However, the most important thing is; we got a Point at Anfield. A deserved Point from the defensive Point of View. I hope Dudes gonna move on from this Argument for good. A Wiseman said; sometimes you win an Argument, sometimes you learn from it. |
![]() If United Fans are still lamenting till now for walking away from Anfield honorably with a Point, then what should Chelsea Fans do - for their beloved Club used as a turning Point by the weakest Team in the EPL this Season?! Arsenal went to Watford and left with no Point, yet United Fans ain't happy with a Point, a clean Sheet against Liverpool that destroyed another attacking Team in Arsenal?! Some are looking at Man City that massacred Liverpool mercilessly, but they forgot Man City played against 10 men (Mane red-carded) in the major Part of the Match, and no Coutinho to support Sallah on the Pitch. A Wiseman once said; Half a Loaf is better than None, hence we should be contented with a Point at Anfield, and kinda move away from this unending Discourse on JM Park-The-Bus Tactic. |
“We came for three points but in the second half we felt it difficult to do that with the match and the dynamic it had. I was waiting for Jurgen to change to go more attacking but he kept the three strong midfield players all the time and he had control. "I had only Herrera and Matic. When I brought on Rashford and Lingard, I expected him [Klopp] to change but he kept the three which means his midfield was stronger today. At times, I was waiting for my team to do something but I couldn’t do anything with no midfielder on the bench." - Jose Mourinho |
