They will be where they have to be at the end of the season. The Turkish league is getting better and better, with teams outside Istanbul coming up, but in the end Fenerbahce will be where they have to be. I look to the manager and I see experience, I look to the players and I see quality." ![]() What is he trying to say here?! That the Turkish League is predictable like Bundesliga?! LOL!
|
"We are in a period now with five matches unbeaten. The players are fine; I don’t think it’s especially because of this match, I think it’s because of the atmosphere we have, the belief we have. We know the process, we know the difficulties." - Jose Mourinho |
"Now we have a special, difficult week because Monday, Thursday and Sunday - Liverpool, Fenerbahce and Chelsea - is a difficult week. Fenerbahce played Sunday at home, we played Monday night, Chelsea one week to work and two days off. We have to play tomorrow again, we have to play on Sunday; it’s a very difficult week for us, but that’s what we have. We have to be ready.” - Jose Mourinho |
"Tomorrow we are going to play with a team that has chances to win and if we play with a team that is not good and strong, we don’t have a chance. To have a chance, we have to play with a good team, knowing that two days later we have to play in the Premier League." - Jose Mourinho |
“I don’t want to give you the team, honestly. Wayne is working well; he’s one of the big responsibles for the atmosphere that the players can breathe because he’s positive, he’s a good example. We count on him to start or be on the bench, but he will be there tomorrow." - Jose Mourinho |
"I think untouchable in our team has to be the spirit, the commitment, the pride, the respect to the fans. That has to be untouchable, but not players." - Jose Mourinho |
![]() What else does he want from Herrera to do?! Some are born to hate a particular person or thing till......?!
|
Herrera has improved a lot! Really happy for him! |
AdisaOwala:Same here! |
codedguy1: ![]() Thank DeGea that we still have a point to celebrate! |
SailorXY: ![]() I tell you! Don't really know what Pogba is still doing on the Pitch while Mata is on the Bench?! |
The pessimists can relax now! With Young and Fellaini on the Field, we are still playing decently! If this is the first Match of Rashford against Liverpool, he's definitely gonna bang a Goal! |
![]() We ain't playing bad! And I am kinda disappointed in Pogba this night! Mata is needed in this Match! |
![]() Herrera is gradually winning Diademk07's Heart! |
forgiveness: ![]() Google it Bro! They won it in 1999 - 2000 Season! |
Napoleon55: ![]() I've made my points known as regard to the Basis of your Argument! I'm kinda bored already! Are you satisfied?! EOD! |
tbaba1234:Roda FC is playing in Eredivisie (Netherlands first Division), Watford also is featuring in the Premiership (England first Division) ,hence it's fair to compare the Two Clubs! Can you tell me which Division Nottingham Forest is playing now?! The Person you are defending is seeing no reason for the invitation of Aluko, when he was in form of his life, simply because he's plying his trade with Hull City - a Championship Club at then! I do not expect you to jump in like you did, coz I really respect your inputs on this thread! Don't really wanna say I'm kinda disappointed! Below is the basis of the Argument - The reason we can't invite Ajagun to the Eagles set up at the moment according to Napoleon! And kindly help me ask him why Etebo, 4 Caps with Feirense is deserved to be invited ahead of Ajagun?! Napoleon55: |
![]() Short of words! But let's wait and see how the Match will pan out! The Lineup be like......?!
|
Napoleon55: Napoleon55: Napoleon55:You do not need to create another unnecessary argument Bruh! I responded to the bold part of your previous Post, the basis of the main argument! You claimed Watford is bigger than Roda FC - I refuted it with facts. Thus asking me to compare Arsenal and Chelsea with Roda FC is lame! Note: Sometimes you win, sometimes you learn. |
forgiveness: ![]() The Dude is really making my Day lively! He claimed Watford is bigger than Roda?!
|
Napoleon55: ![]() Roda FC is far bigger than Watford my Bruh! LOL! This is a Club that has featured in UEFA Cup on several Occasions - in fact the Club won the 1999 - 2000 Edition. Also the Club is a Domestic Cup Winner! Watford FC has never featured in any UEFA Competitions, also has never won even ordinary Spoon in an elite Competition. |
IyanuFanoro: ![]() Chairman! Your feeling is simply a nightmare, I think you need to wake up! LOL! You do not want Iheanacho to be benched, but you are seeing no problem if Ighalo, a substantial 9, is benched?! If Etebo is invited for the next Match, he's definitely gonna start from the Bench. And if at all he's gonna play, he will replace Iwobi or Iheanacho in the dying minutes of 2nd Half! |
![]() Fellaini?! That will automatically reduce my Confidence to zero! |
forgiveness: ![]() Seriously I laughed when I read comment. I do not know when Watford becomes a big Club in England. He included Watford in the list because of Isaac Success and perhaps Odion Ighalo! |
TheGoodJoe:Etebo won't be a bad addition to the Team. His versatility, skills, rare talent and pace are needed. He's definitely gonna be an upgrade to the Team! My point however is, he's not a Striker, he's a force to reckon with as a Winger or attacking Midfielder! Or did he bang the four Goals as a Striker for the U23 Team at the Olympic? |
TheGoodJoe:Seem you do not understand my point on Etebo? I have no reason to oppose his imminent Call up, rather my point is; he's not a Striker! |
*Sigh* We can't have more than 11 Players on the Field..... also we can't invite more 23 Players to the Camp! Presently, the Team is nearing perfection, Rohr is building a Team that plays his way, his style and philosophy. He knows the kind of Players that fit his Game-plan. He's working round the clock to fix the Team, to make Super Eagles a formidable Team in the World! So Because Etebo is banging Goals recently, he has become a Beast, hence must be given a chance to lead the Eagles line against the Algerians?! With all these suggestions here and there..... when are we going to have a starting Eleven for the Super Eagles?! When the Team is gonna have a shape?! The trio of Iwobi, Moses and Iheanacho should be given time to blend well together. They would always be available for the Team bar injury and suspension! Ighalo holdup play is fastatic, same as Ideye. The striking Position isn't all about scoring, also to terrorize and weaken the opponent's Defence and creating chances! We need Ighalo and Ideye in the Team for the likes of Iheanacho, S. Moses, Iwobi to be banging Goals. While Defenders are battling to stop Ighalo (or Ideye) from scoring, the Trio would be doing the damages to the Opponent. We are simply giving ourselves unnecessary headache with baseless arguments. Even NFF can't impose Players on Rohr led Coaching Crew talk less of Fans! We can be identifying Talents for the Super Eagles - which is a very good idea, but asking the Technical Adviser to play them by must is wrong! |
codedguy1: ![]() Nah! It's actually a draw Match! |
"Even when I first joined up here, they all mentioned that obviously you know about City and United. But Liverpool - this is the one. With the way the rivalry has brewed over the years because it's been so competitive, it was stressed to me and especially the new lads now how important this fixture is. "They have always been tough games. I think even in the last one [in January], they probably played far better than us but we took our chance. We know they're a high-pressing team and we're not going to get much time on the ball, so we need to be prepared for that. "It's not easy, especially for us defenders, because they make it very difficult for us to play out. Quite often, against some teams, we can be quite relaxed and have a lot of the ball but Liverpool are a high-energy pressing team and, even when you win it back, they can be at their most dangerous, as they're right at you. If you don't move it on, you're going to get tackled. It's a very difficult job for us midfielders and defenders to make sure we dictate the play. "All week, we'll be working on tactics and quite often, in the first 15 minutes, the plans can go right out of the window until the game settles down. It's one of those where we must keep a cool head and implement our game plan to exert pressure on them." "It's one of those (Matches) where the manager has stressed again this week we need to keep our emotions in check because even players who haven't been at United long know how important this fixture is. It's about controlling our emotions and keeping all our men on the pitch. It's a game where I think you need to play to your maximum. "Quite often on the pitch, you're trying to call to the midfielders to say there is a man there but it's so loud and the atmosphere is so alive, it's just your blood flowing through your body that makes it hard to control those emotions. "I've been lucky enough to win there a couple of times and it's a great feeling when you make all those fans happy as we've done our jobs and can go back to Manchester with a smile on our faces." - Chris Smalling |
"These are the games you live for when you are young, growing up wanting to be a footballer. "It will be a tough game; we will have to play well but so will they. "Games like this are played with a lot of emotion but, just like every game, we go into this to win. What is important is the result and we will try to get that. "We have a lot of height in the box and we must use that. Top-level football games are close and they can be decided with small details; set-pieces are one of them and it is an opportunity for us to score a goal. "Our fans are always with us, they always have our back and we feel that, which is important for us," Blind said. "Every game they are there and they are always behind us in their numbers; that is great to see." - Daley Blind |
Hi everyone, This is a special blog entry, it’s different because I’m writing this on the eve of a game and not after it. And, as you can imagine, this isn’t just a football match. We are in Liverpool, resting in the hotel, looking forward to this Monday and hoping that it’s going to be a great day for us. The truth is that I have played several times at Anfield already, with good and bad results, but I prefer to remember those good and exciting moments that I have lived in this stadium over the last few years. These games are always very intense and thrilling, with a big dose of adrenaline. I hope we can see good football and get a good score for us. Of course, we feel privileged for being part of this kind of game where tradition and rivalry go far back in time, and we will try our best to make our fans happy. Thank you for your support! Hugs! Juan |
