Only God knows what JM sees in Lingard! The Lad is really enjoying play-time under JM! |
codedguy1:Do you have any problem with it?! Ain't you aware Smalling, Bailey and Jones are injured?! |
![]() But..... buh...... David Moyes didn't spend £89m on a single Player only to dabbing week in week out with Hairstyle! ************************************ Sir Alex Ferguson should be blamed for the Club's woes! What did he smoke or drink before he chose David Moyes as his Successor?! LOL! |

I hope Mkhitaryan gets some Minutes Today!

tbaba1234: TheGoodJoe:Thanks for the Clarification! Has any German Coach tried out 3-Man Defence?! Also was there a Time any of German Nationals Teams played a 3-Man Defence?! Finally, has Gernot Rohr ever tried out a 3-Man Defence in any of previous Assignments?! If the Answers are NO, then we should forget talking about it on this Thread! |
larride: ![]() What do you expect..... when Dudes see nothing impressive with the Contributions of Donjazet! |
tbaba1234:Pls I need a clarification..... I check the official Twitter handles of NFF, the Super Eagles, and I couldn't find any list there?! Seem this List is simply a Hint - The likely Players to make the Eagles Camp for the Algeria Clash! |
"Burnley is very difficult, even the season they were relegated [2014/15] they were very difficult even for the big teams. I was champion with Chelsea and they drew against us at Stamford Bridge. "We were fighting with City for the title and I remember they also drew against them at the Etihad, so they had good results against the top teams. This season, I know it was at home, but they beat Liverpool and Everton. So they are difficult. "They have a certain style of play where they don’t care about the style or the way they do it; they just go with everything they have and the only thing I can say is it will be a very difficult match. "It will be very important for us if we can win, but we have to be at our maximum level and also Old Trafford must be behind us. That’s not in question, though, because they always are. "The momentum is fine. I prefer to lose one match 4-0 than to lose four matches 1-0. It’s better that way. We are in quite a good moment and the football we are playing is good. "We lost two points against Stoke and I think that was our best match at home in terms of our quality, attacking football and creation of chances. We are playing fine, we are playing more than fine but we need points. That’s obvious." - Jose Mourinho |
SailorXY:The 3rd one..... but Martial and Lingard will replace Rashford and Mkhitaryan respectively! |
Can someone guess two things that are missing in this Squad Photo?!
|
AdisaOwala:You've already said it all! But I'm so sure Mkhitaryan is part and parcel of JM's Plan! I think it's evident against Man City, he played awfully! Mkhitaryan is a talented Player, he's definitely gonna enjoy a good spell at United! But I think "we" fans should be patient and wholly trust the Manager. |
eph12:“He is not injured. Sometimes I confuse the word 'fit' in the English language. Sometimes you can say that it is 'not injured', but you could also say that you are in great condition and ready to compete. That is different for me as we use different words in Portuguese for the different situations. Mkhitaryan is not injured, he is training with the team 100 per cent. “The realities are often different, particularly in terms of the competitiveness. It doesn't matter who you are against, you have to play at the highest level otherwise you will not be able to do it. Micki needs time to become the top player he knows he can be. “I think Micki will work here for sure. I don't like to speak about players from other clubs because I don't want to be misinterpreted, but I don't think he'll mind. A player who had a problem to play when he first arrived was Willian. He went through a process and then, after a few months, he became a top player. Then, when we won the championship, he was phenomenal and still is. That is just an example. “Similarly, Di Maria had to learn a lot about his game when he came into Madrid from Portugal. Sometimes this is what happens. It happens with defenders, but it is often easier for them to adapt than attackers. Some go straight to success and others it takes more time. "In Micky's case the process was interrupted by injury, which does not help the process of evolution. Being out for a month meant he has had to go through the process of getting match fit, then once he has that he needs the competitive level to do it. We believe him and, sooner or later, there will be no problem.” - Jose Mourinho

“When you say he (Carrick) played in the last two wins, for sure it shows that he gives us important things on the pitch. He gives stability in our game and mental freedom to the other guys around him to be more offensive. He is not just a player, but one who has a big understanding of the game. “It's a pity he is not 25. It's a pity you can't stop the clock. In five years Messi will be 34 and we will all be crying that he is 34. Michael is a very good player and one who will be very difficult to replace.” - Jose Mourinho |
sundayamazing3:[/s] sundayamazing3: ![]() Very poor indeed! Sorry I can't fix all! It's kinda frustrating to correct all the blunders, hence I suggest you re-write the comment (post). Also you need to revisit your English Textbook and properly learn the Term - Punctuation. Thank me later! |
This can only happen in the Premier League..... the best, most popular and most competitive League in the World!

franchizy: ![]() It's a pity that some Kids really do not know you on Nairaland?! Seem you've got what you aimed. You want mentions and you've got enough. LOL! They should have checked your profile and perhaps your previous posts and comments before jumping on your Moniker like over-fed Dogs to make fun of Poo you served them! No wonder the Economy is in recession, seriously it's obvious the Youths ain't taking time to study and analyze, before jumping to Conclusion. SHM for the Kiddos that rush to quote this Dude and simply make his Day a fun filled one!!! |
CUP DATE CONFIRMED Some news concerning next month's EFL Cup quarter-final... It's been confirmed that we'll play West Ham at; Old Trafford, on Wednesday 30 November, with kick-off at 20:00 GMT. |
"You can write and say what you want, but it is not true. He is a very good player, a very important player for us and he is not going anywhere. We like him, he likes us and, while he is not happy to be on the bench, he is more unhappy to be injured. "There are no problems, but you need to sell papers and you write lies. You even write lies about myself when I say it is 'a disaster' because every time I leave my hotel I have somebody chasing [me], you write that I say my life is disaster. This is not true. Rooney is back tomorrow." - Jose Mourinho |
“We spoke about the fans before the game between us. To be honest we have short meetings, I don’t like to have a meeting of one hour, I prefer to have three or four meetings of 10 minutes then we have another one a few hours later. We had one of those meetings dedicated to the fans, just thinking about them, their feelings and their disappointment after the Chelsea game. “We really analysed that part of our lives because many times we just focus on what we have to do professionally and you forget the other side of it. So we had one meeting and the players were really open. "The players understood clearly that the game against Man City was not just a normal cup match, it was more than that because it was City, but it was even more than that because it was a couple of days after Chelsea. They showed amazing character and I’m really pleased with them.” - Jose Mourinho |
eph12: ![]() Noted! Even though his silly posts are annoying, I think It's better to ignore him as you suggested! |
kokaneprodigy: ![]() You need to limit that thing you are inhaling Dude..... seems it's getting out of control!

Updates on Carrick..... “He’s phenomenal, no doubt about it, but I think I have to manage him. I can’t expect from Michael what I expect from Rashford or Herrera in terms of playing three to five consecutive matches, but he’s phenomenal.” - Jose Mourinho |
More Details on Mkhitaryan..... “He is not injured. Sometimes I confuse the word 'fit' in the English language. More..... Mkhitaryan is not injured, he is training with the team 100%. I think some players find it very easy whereas others need more time. Micki needs time to become the top player he know he can be.” - Jose Mourinho |
More..... “Burnley is the same Burnley. It is the same manager, basically the same players, same philosophy, same profile of team and same mentality. We know it will be tough for us, especially because we come in with a run of five matches with two days in between. Finally we will have a Sunday off and a little bit of time until the Fenerbahce match!“ - Jose Mourinho |
Press Conference Updates..... “After the Chelsea defeat we had to play City three days later and because of the defeat it became more than just a normal cup match. The boys managed to find that extra effort and competitive mentality… it was very important for the players to win it and give back to the fans.” - Jose Mourinho |
"We faced West Ham four times last season - they are not in as good a moment as then but they have the players and the quality, and sooner or later the quality is going to come out. We have to control the very good players they have." - Ander Herrera |
“I know I am not English and I am not from Manchester, but I really love this club and I have enjoyed my time here. I don’t want to be just one more player. I want to show that I am very happy here and I want to be here for as long as possible. “We have to keep our feet on the floor because now the most important thing is coming and that is the Premier League. We have to face Burnley, they are fighting in every game like a final like we have seen against Everton. It is not so easy to beat Everton. “We have to prepare for it. We can enjoy this result but on Thursday we change the focus. It is another final, we want to be at the top of the table and we want to win.” - Ander Herrera |
"It’s normal you’re frustrated because I would have loved to have played, but obviously, with Eric’s injury now, it might be my time to step up and show the manager what I can do, and to show that he can trust me. "He has played in all of the games and has been one of our best players each game. I don't think he's had an off day because he's still so young and he brings confidence and calmness to our defence when he gets the ball; sometimes he knows when to clear it but he likes to play from the back. "That's what was good for us because we like to start from the back and go through the midfield and attack. He's going to be a very big miss but I think [against City] people staked their claim to play. "The first half wasn't the best of mine. I thought I did good but for some of their crosses I maybe wasn't getting too tight, but Jesus [Navas] is a very quick player and it was quite tough. "But I came out in the second half and felt much better. I was closing him sharply, we made sure he got no crosses in and I think, at the end of the day, I feel really good. Hopefully I play on Saturday and get another 90 minutes and a good result with that. "Nothing is easy and no fixtures in the Premier League are easy. We’ve seen that time and time again. People might think that's an easy game and end up losing them. I think it's time to start focusing on every game like a final and playing like a final as well. "We’ve got Burnley at home, which is a must-win, and we know Swansea will be a very tough game. We’ve got Fenerbahce and that is a very tough place to go. We need to get maximum points because it's our time to start pushing up the table." - Luke Shaw |
