I do not understand why a Particular Moniker is trying hard to defend the Flops of the Match.

Ndidi is a fantastic Player - a very good DMF, but he failed woefully as a RB. I can't really blame the Coach for playing him there, seems he thought with his CB Experience, he would fair better.

I saw a proposed Lineup, and I couldn't stop laughing. Onazi as LB?! LOL! Thank God that the Eagles is done with local Technical Adviser.

We need to play Musa Muhammad as the Team's RB henceforth. Someone is craving for Experience, but he forget we got the Goals from the inexperienced Kids in the Team.

I implore the Advocate of Omeruo to watch his last Match he played for his Club, they lost the Match disgracefully because of his fatal Errors.

I will rather play Musa/Shehu - Balogun - Ekong - Taiwo/Oshanjwa in the defence line.

Mikel and Onazi still remains the best Pivot for the Team's Midfield. I think we should stick to it, cos they ain't doing bad. Then we should have Esiti, Ndidi even Kelechi Nwakali as Backups.

I will pick S. Moses over V. Moses and Ahmed Musa as the Team's RM any day any time. Though he's not as good as V. Moses, but he's more committed to the Team than him, and better than Ahmed Musa with Ball on his Feet.

Iwobi is a fantastic discovery, a rare Gem, he should maintain the LM position. While Iheanacho should maintain his AM Role. The Trio are skillful, talented and can comfortably switch Positions without distorting the Team's Rhythm, rather make it hard for the Opponent to contain them.

Upfront - we've been let down by our present Strikers. However, I would suggest Isaac Success to lead the Line! He's strong and pacy, he's also terrific when he's in form.

Meanwhile..... we can't invite all to the Camp of the Super Eagles. We should stick with the present Squad, so that they would be able to gel-up well and become a Force to reckon with and a Team to fear beyond the Africa Continent.

"I believe that Manchester United could 100 per cent benefit from a fit Bastian Schweinsteiger.

"If everything you hear and read is true, you can consider it disrespectful. He's not just some player, and also not only 18 or 19.

"I trusted myself to do that before [Schweinsteiger's retirement], but this has nothing to do with saying his retirement is positive or negative.

"We should be thankful that we had such a great player."

"If he plays the way we know Wayne Rooney plays and he surpasses my record I'll be the first one to shake his hand and pat him on the back. For a striker, that's fantastic.

"He now wants to play in midfield - if he was a midfield player he would have played there.

"He says he wants to retire after the next World Cup - to me that's his management company putting a lot of propaganda out. It's about what he does on the pitch."

European Football (EPL, UEFA, La Liga) › Re: Official Manchester United Fan Thread:''20 Times EPL Champion by Oasis007(m):
"Broadly speaking, we are working really well together. We have two coaches, Silvinho [Louro] and Emilio [Alvarez], and I think that myself, David and Sam [Johnstone] are working really hard alongside them.

"As each week goes by we are all feeling more and more comfortable with each other as a group. I think you can see this in David when he’s playing – he feels good and relaxed in himself – and that our work and training during the week is very good.

"Similarly with myself you could see [when I've played] that I’d been training hard and waiting for my chance to play and that when that did happen, I was 100 per cent ready. As I said, I reckon a great job is being done with our training and that can only be a good thing."

"You work hard all week in order to play at the weekend, and so as the game approaches you will be 100 per cent ready and available for the manager and the group of your team-mates. You aim to show them that you are all prepared and ready to play.

"Having played my first game of the season in the United shirt has been very important as it gives you reassurance and keeps you calm and relaxed in the knowledge that things went quite well. You know that you can keep on working and improving.

"It’s also good as it means that the people within the national team set-up are also aware that you have played and done well which means that you are in a better position to be selected for the upcoming qualifying games.

"I didn’t know them before but I think with their years in the game and their vast experience, they’ve really been able to add some different ingredients. We’ve been working and training in a way that maybe in the past, we hadn’t been used to.

"We are doing lots of exercises in just one activity; we’re not just focusing on practising just one part of our game but we are aware that goalkeeper training nowadays is based more upon game situations. And we don’t limit ourselves to just one situation but we practise two or three of them together.

"For example, we make a pass and then we continue playing, and then according to whether the pass was executed well or badly, another ball might come in to play for which we have to be ready and waiting. Dependent upon this situation being concluded positively or not, we know that another ball might be on its way too.

"It’s all about widening the goalkeeper’s vision, and not limiting the keeper to just one situation but encouraging him to have a wider appreciation of what’s happening. And they certainly have that vision.

"So they are encouraging us be more watchful and aware that not every situation just ends with the first ball going dead. Whether you’ve made the right or wrong call, or even on many occasions if you’ve made the best save of the game, that ball might then go out for a corner, stay in play or even come off the post and fall straight to an opponent, and you then have to be ready for that next ball."

"In my formative moments working with Jose was the best time of my life.

"I was able to learn to many things and working with him takes you to another level. You fall in love with him and he becomes your idol. I wanted to be like him, know everything that he knew and absorb all the information he was giving.

"Then you fall on the wrong side of Jose and that's when things change and you realise that you've been blinded by someone. He has this fascinating capability of getting the best out of you, which has good or bad consequences for people.

"My consequences were that as a result of the argument or disagreement we had, I started my coaching career.

"Of course you want to play. As a football player you want to play. It is my job, I love football and I love being involved with the team.

"Obviously I am not starting at the moment with Manchester United and I have to work hard to try to get back in the starting XI, which I am doing, and when I get my chances I have to take them.

"But again I am fully supportive of the team, of the players and of the manager at Manchester United. Of course I want to be involved but the most important thing is that we win."

"Well, I think it is important that we have got exciting young players and that good young players get the rewards they deserve.

"He (Rashford) has been fantastic since he got into the Manchester United squad and he has carried that on at the start of this season. I think he fully deserves his chance to be in the England squad to play and, if he does that, I am sure he will take his opportunity.

"He is a fantastic player with a great attitude and he has got all of the ability he needs, so I don’t see any reason why he can’t. I am sure, if given the chance in these two games, then he will start to try to do that."

"We need a player like Ander because he is very fast on the defensive transition, he can give us the security we need, especially against fast counter attacks."

Ander Herrera is gradually gaining the Confidence of Jose Mourinho. He needs to keep up doing his best for the Team. Who cares if some Folks here think negative of him?! The most important thing is; the Manager is gradually getting his starting Lineup and Herrera is an integral Part.

"He has changed his club team and needs to find his bearing with his new team-mates.

"With Paul, we always expect more. When he does something neutral, often it is not enough. He is someone we expect to make assists in every game - there is an expectation that is too large.

"Paul is okay in his own head. He knows what he wants.
