I was in Edo State on Wednesday till Friday, and everywhere is calm and peaceful!

The Policemen at the various Check-Points in Benin City ain't searching or doing any security work, rather they are exporting Motorists!

Honestly, I do not see a reason for the postponement, except there is another reason aside from the security reason.

This will only make PDP wax stronger, cos many Electorates would think, it's APC plan.

"My message to the players is our identity. It is about what we are," declared the boss. "We have to try to be in every game what we are. We are more important than our opponents. The way we play is more important than the way our opponents play. We have to think about ourselves, focus on ourselves.

"A game like I want them to play always is to play in the limits like we did against Hull. That was a great example of that. It was a very difficult match and the team played in the limits and tried until the last seconds. That’s the Man United I want to have."

"Well, I hope on the pitch it’s 11 against 11, but in the stands it can be something like 70,000 against three or four thousand. So we should win by a distance in terms of support," he added.

"Against Southampton it wasn’t a derby, it was a match between a club from Manchester against a club from the south of the UK and the support was amazing. The enthusiasm and the relationship between the team and the fans was amazing.

"At Hull City, where we had a couple of thousand fans, they were absolutely unbelievable, so that’s something that does not need questioning. I know for sure that our fans will be fantastic for the team."

please give PMB more time and send your criticism to the appropriate quarter. PDP spent 16years in power and had more than enough time to make sure we are self-sufficient in bitumen production but never did anything about it. Same with with petroleum sector. Despite the abundance of crude oil in Nigeria, we export crude oil and import all crude oil products which is very insane and shameful. Don't blame PMB for the negligence of a group of people who for 16years wrecked everything!!!
This is the reason Nigeria remains under-develop Nation till now!

We need to CHANGE this attitude of supporting blindly!

Anyone that critiques PMB Administration has become a Wailer?! We should be supporting, suffering and smiling?! Ain't you feeling the hardship that's everywhere?! You think you love PMB more than we do?!

MOURINHO: REASONS TO BE HAPPY

"We have a good family group; we're together and enjoy the responsibility to work for a club with a history like this. When you arrive at a club like Manchester United, you cannot have defensive words. You have to go direct to the target and say that we want to win the title."

JOSE ON PEP'S OPTIONS

"He could decide to play with Iheanacho or Sterling. He could decide to play with Silva as a fake no.9 between the lines. It is clear that they have many options. That for us, in the preparation of the game, makes us have to go step-by-step with every situation because we are trying to reduce the unpredictability of the game. To try to do this now is more difficult."

AGUERO ABSENCE CHANGES APPROACH

"It changes because it is more difficult," the boss said. "When Aguero is available we know that he plays, we know their formation and their dynamics - nobody has doubts. If he is ready, he will play. But now he doesn't play, they have an amazing squad in terms of options and there are many things he could do."

"WE DON'T MOTIVATE ZLATAN"

"Zlatan is a phenomenal player who arrives at 34 and still wants more for his career," the boss said. "He didn't want the Chinese money or the American US dollars; he wanted the most difficult place to play and win. Zlatan is more about him than us. Our contribution to him, in motivational terms, is zero. This is just his nature."

PRAISE FOR CITY

"Since the new owners have arrived, Manchester City have been a very good team," Mourinho said. "They have had very good managers and have another very good manager now. They've always had very good players and, again, have very good players now, so they are what they are since I returned to England in 2013. They are a title contender and you have to respect them that way."

BOSS ON DERBIES

"I know what a derby means for everyone; I've played derbies everywhere, in every country, in so many cities. I always want to be in the position of emotional control because for me it is just a game against a very good opponent. If you want to be successful and you want to win the game then we have to be at the top of our qualities."

JOSE: IT'S A NORMAL GAME

Jose isn't buying into the hyperbole around Saturday's game. "I am normal," he said at his press conference. "For us, it is a game and for me especially. We are playing to try and win the title. When you do this there is no match more important than another one when it comes to this stage of the season."

REDS' LATIN AMERICAN STARS

Jose said about his South American stars: "They're available, but Antonio [Valencia] was able to get one flight direct to Madrid and then to London and Manchester - an easy one. Sergio [Romero] and Marcos [Rojo] went around the globe! But they all came back in time for training this morning."

MORE ON PLAYERS' FITNESS

Mourinho: "At this moment, we have a completely fit squad, which, with the problems an international break always gives - players coming on different days, players with problems - is good, because nobody is really injured or out of the game. We are fine, we are ready, we are waiting."

REDS BACK FROM INTERNATIONAL DUTY

"Everybody is available," Mourinho told MUTV. "It’s not the same as if we were here all week and working, resting and not travelling, but there are no injuries and everybody has returned safely and on time for at least one training session. Everybody is ready and wants to play, of course."

Jose Mourinho and Pep Guardiola have rubbished suggestions there will be any animosity between them during the Manchester derby - they may well even share a glass of wine once the action is over.

But former Barcelona boss Guardiola suggested any personal rivalry with ex-Real Madrid manager Mourinho was created "from the media".

"We can't control that," added the Spaniard. "I said it many times - I have a lot of respect for Mourinho, I always try to learn from all of my colleagues - it's the same with him.

"He was my coach, my assistant coach with Sir Bobby Robson. OK, the last period at Barcelona and Real Madrid was not easy for both of us but we met each other two, three weeks ago at the managers' Premier League meeting.

"Of course I'll accept a glass of wine after the game if he invites me."

Portuguese Mourinho added: "I know what the derby means. I've played them everywhere, but I always want to be in a position of emotional control. If we want to win we have to be at the top.

"(City) have a very good manager. They always have very good players and bought more. They are what they are since I returned to England. They are a title contender and you have to respect them."

But..... I think I read it somewhere that; there is Bitumen in Ogun State!

I've not seen the work of Dr. Fayemi as a Solid Minerals Minister at all!

Modified: I will rather support the importation of Rice! Nigerians can't do without eating Rice in Day, whereas the Nation can survive without importing Bitumen.

We have surplus and untapped Bitumen in Nigeria, but we have very limited quantities of Rice available for consumption!

Politics › Bitumen Shipment To Nigeria By Geneva Energy Firm Commences by Oasis007(op): 12:01pm On Sep 09, 2016
Geneva-based energy firm, Puma Energy, has started delivering bitumen to its terminal at Calabar in Cross River in a venture aimed at assisting Nigeria to rebuild its dilapidated road network.

Puma Energy’s Global Head of Bitumen Mr Olof Klintholm made the announcement in a statement e-mailed to the News Agency of Nigeria (NAN) in Lagos on Friday.

“This is an important milestone for Puma Energy because Nigeria is a key focus market for us as we keep building our global presence.
“The delivery shows we can deliver bitumen on specification and on time anywhere in the world,” Klintholm said.

He explained that the shipment, made from neighbouring Cote d’Ivoire, was made under a joint venture with WABECO Petroleum Ltd., trading in Nigeria as P.E. Bitumen Resources Nigeria Ltd.

“ The cargo was delivered by MT Acacia Rubra, which completed discharging in the early hours of Sept. 5.

“The delivery comes at a critical time to assist the Nigerian government in rebuilding its road infrastructure which is a catalyst for the country’s economic development.

“Puma Energy has the world’s largest system of bitumen ships and terminals and we offer customers globally, a wide range of products that meet local specification requirements at a competitive price,’’ said Klintholm.

According to him, Puma Energy is helping to deliver new and safer roads in many countries by assisting governments, highway agencies and construction companies in sourcing and supplying the bitumen they need for major construction works.

“Puma Energy looks forward to working with construction companies in delivering high quality bitumen to their projects around Nigeria.’’

Nigeria has about 32,000 km of federal highways most of which are unpaved and in deplorable shape, according to official records. (NAN)
