@op, i think the poverty Myles Munroe is talking about here is not financial, materials poverty. and its wrong to talk about the president that way either you like him or not.

helping someone in need who can not afford to help himself at that time is not wrong at all. its kindness.
but continuously give to a particular person who have all it takes to make money on his own, but wont is wrong. because you are encouraging him to be lazy.

The purpose of creating this thread is not to discriminate any religion. as a matter of fact, going to church often and observing all the doctrines and rules of your church alone does not qualifies a man into what am about to say please.
In the time of old, we've heard accounts of kings who were filled with the spirit of God and ruled excellently during their time. Joseph was next to the overall king in a strange land. the land of Egypt became more productive, fruitful because of him.
Daniel was preferred above the president and princes because he has the spirit of excellent. he was a man of prayer and a well knowledgeable person.
King David was referred to as a man after God's heart. he moved God into action because of his repented heart. he easily acknowledge his faults and turn to God each time he goes wrong. he was the king who rules with great power and kindness. people served him with their lives. they jeopardized their lives for him.
Coming down to our generation, christians don't want to do politics. we said its a dirty game, but this is the same game the unrighteous played and get into power. as soon as they gain entrance into power, they become powerful ruling the affairs of the country, states with all forms of diabolic means, evil enchantment and rituals. they invite and invoke Satan into power to rule. whether you like it or not, the decision they make, in one way or the other affect everybody. when they give order, we are meant to obey. that for sure.
Now why are Christians( holy ghost filled) not going into politics? the bible said they that knows the lord their God shall be great, strong and do exploit.
where are the king David of our time? or is politics one of those things a child of God can't do without getting soiled? the bible said all things are possible. cant prayers does that magic? cant a man of sound mind, holy ghost filled stand up and get up with God's lead and rule us with God's spirit, power, kindness. eradicating all forms of ungodly act in our government? or we are just too powerless to get up there?
what is your view on this please?

in addition to all the contributions above, in john 1:5 the bible say light shines in darkeness and darkness could not comprehend it.
this shows where there is NO light, you dont need any other special invitation for darkeness to come take its place. its allowed to rule while light is absence.
The spirit of God left saul, then next spirit meant to take over, is the spirit of Satan.
The bible said evil spirit from God because its only through his permission that such spirit can now rule a man he himself (God) has been ruling. it shows his spirit was done with Saul and the next available spirit is the evil spirit.

That Jesus you are looking for traveling to calabar, is closer to you than you can ever imagine. so many people with little problems got more complicated ones because of going from one deliverance prayer houses to another.
i believe if you are willing and give him all in total repentance, he can cleans you of everything disturbing your peace right where you are.

@op. to me, its not a good idea. couples should settle this before getting married. its good you both believe in the same thing. that's the only way you can stand in one faith, overcome together. how can you achieve all these if you don't listen to the same message and same view? honestly, a woman don't really have a church. as soon as she gets married, she's meant to start attending her husband's church. so as a lady, if you have a particular church in mind you cant attend, you shouldn't marry a man from that church. because as soon as you marry him, its good you both attend the same church.

to add to what you post, don't You think We In the body Of Christ should organise Gospel music concert to hunt for talented singers because the rate Out which brethren are going for wordly music is alarming. One of the way to access heaven is praise. look Don Moen. and other foreign gospel artist, look at the crowd that turn Out to listen and want to praise God through their music while ours is nothing to write home about.

u are right. but one needs to have some big amount of money to achieve that. like me, my music would have gone far, but no money yet. but i believe, soon we will achieve this you said above. thank you
