When one comedian rained curses here because I depreciated his attitude towards the Governor of Lagos State, some people were wondering why and many people contacted me if I had any personal dealings with him. What I simply told them was, aside from political differences, he’s anti-APC and I’m pro-APC, allegedly, I criticised his contents for sexualising women.

But what I didn’t mention was that I once helped, in professional capacity, despite our political differences, to secure the release of his sister when she was wrongfully arrested and to be detained by the police, I did all within my capacity to get her out, which he greatly appreciated me for.

Beyond that, there was no personal dealings between us. It was even after that time that we got into personal conversations about my criticisms of his contents and resolved our differences; when he explained to me that he was only passing a message and not necessarily sexualising women and since then, I have never criticised his contents. I recall even making a post, maybe on my old account, to say that we have settled our beefs, save the political differences.

So let nobody think that those cursing on my big day are people I have done anything wrong towards them personally. It’s all political, particularly that it’s coming from a region of people we don’t see to face on this app. No matter what anyone says or thinks, my political choices are entirely based on the exercise of my fundamental rights as guaranteed by the constitution. I have zero regrets about my political choices or decisions and if I have to make them again a million times, I won’t choose otherwise.

By God’s grace, I will do anything and everything within my means to support President Bola Ahmed Tinubu in 2027. No amount of bullying, threats, lies, and curses will change that. We have faced the worst of adversaries in the past and we did not lose. So these ones are small fries.

To anyone who is worried about me on my big day, trust me I am perfectly fine. My big day is going well and come Saturday, 3rd May, 2025, we feast, InshaAllah🤏
