Apostle Paul is still encouraging the church at Corithian to give here in order to build a church. Setting aside part of your income is the baseline. Tithe is a guide to what you want to give..it can range from 0% to 100%. Has anyone died from not tithing before? And tithe is not a criteria to enter heaven.

Apostle Paul and Jesus Christ supported giving (tithing)...Tell me another place you are confused. You already argue Jesus' direct quote at Matthew 23:23

Even if it was Jehovah that commanded that I pay tithe to Pastors, then Jehovah has no idea that our Pastors are now thieves, so I will disobey Jehovah and take my 'money' and give to my family members. When there are no more family members in need, I will continue to extend my assistance to every poor person around me as I always have.

I have never paid tithe, and I will never tithe, but I will continue to give what I can spare, to those who need it and ask for it.

Come to Owerri town, SE Nigeria, from MCC junction to Toronto junction, there are 36 churches. That stretch of about 5 km harbours 36 churches, more churches than the entire Switzerland.
Between Owerri and Mgbidi l counted 97 churches and gave up. According to CAC, Nigeria has over 23,000 registered churches.
We have more churches than schools and hospitals combined. More pastors than doctors and teachers combined. Everyone is born again. All are covered in the blood of Jesus. All are filled with the Holy Spirit.
Yet none of those claims reflects in the expected moral elevation of the society. We are still one of the greediest, laziest, corrupt, deceitful, hypocritical and hateful set of beings on the planet today, with all our Christ and Holy spirit.
