The coming days would be very interesting.
It was this same Ameachi that some of you revered on NL and his governor's forum that stoped local goverment autonomy using the rubber stamp called state house of assembly.
Majority of you on naira land usually asked, "how does that benefits the common man"?
Well the common man can never benefits until we have local govt autonomy in this country which Ameachi is agaist, and why Goodluck is interested in changing him so that local government autonomy can pass and the common man see the devidends of democracy.
As it stands now the gorvernors are all emperors most powerful set of persons, recall the only person that have become a president or vice president respectively without becoming a governor first since 1999 is OBJ. Even Atiko Abubakar was elected the governor of Adamawa state in 1999, before joining OBJ as vice president while his deputy took over as governor.
The governors are not willing to let this go. Same reason Amechi wants to run with Lamido.
But GEJ wants LGA autonomy, that is why Ameachi is figthing him.
Ameachi still want to sack and employ caretaker commitee anyday his wife ask him to do so.
But we the people are saying no, the LGA must receive its allocation from Abuja without an intermidiary body called governor: that is democracy.

It is ritual killings. We are not save in this world, this can happen to anybody. What has a 26 years old done to deserve this inhumane treatment?

I am a student of public health technology in Federal University Of Technology owerri. I was offered adission with a vilid admission letter stating my duration of study as 5 years, into the faculty of Continuieng Education ( part time).
The school woke up yesterday to say that i, and a hundred of thousands of other students will no longer study for the legally prescribe 5 years but 7 years, with an automatic increase in school fee.
Lawyers in the house, can this issue be debated in court?
What are our chances in court?
I need rational advice please.

Well it said that at age 0 to 20 people ask whose child is he/she.
At age20 to 35 they ask whose wife/ husband is he/she.
Then at 40 and above they ask where are his/her children.
Maybe that is why people get married.

But currently i think ladies marry becouse of economic reasons, that is financial security.

My surprise emanated from the fact that the same senators that came on a legislative inspection a few months ago and where asking what ODILLI did with the 8 years allocation given to him by F.G. where the same people shawering praises on him yesterday.

The poster of this topic is rigth. This cars are not bought for public use but are use as a compenciation to all the election rigging mercenaries and the governors allies. The WORSE nigerian governor former gov. Peter Odili PURCHASE more than 2000 of this same automobiles but as we are talking now even one is no longer being sighted in the streets of porthacourt. poeple ve all change their colours and are using them as private cars. SHAME ON THIS POLITICIANS, GOD WILL PUNISH ALL OF THEM FOR THE COMMON MAN.

Doctors pay is actually nothing to write home about, I was oportune to see my director's (private clinic) pay slip some time ago, i was astonished. 120,000 thousand naira for a consultant, (orthopaedics surgeon). GOD forbit. I just graduated 4rm nursing school with the intention of doing degree nursing, but i ve since change my mind. i ve already applied for admission in what is simple but can give me a job in de bank or telecommunication sector, or beter still be an entrepreneur WHO NO LIKE BETER THING?. The doctor once confided on me that if not for private practice he would not ve even bougth a car. I think the best courses for one to study now is social sciences b/c that is where nigerian economy is drivin at. As for the pay the general practitionars (G.P) that are working here with us go home with 60 to 70k montly, although they all work in 2 places, now dont tell me we are not living in a major city b/c i am posting from PH. and u know our living standard here. I hope we shall one day talk about nurses pay here and non of u will ever advice their relative to study nursing and live in nigeria.
