Business / Re: Plastic Making In Nigeria? by OBATIMO: 8:54am On Sep 13, 2015
Actually, When setting up a business, one should think of a business that cut across the rich, average and the poor. A case of Friesland Peak Milk and Promisador Cowbell: Peak was targeted for the rich and average while cowbell came with the most affordable market aiming at the least member of the society at just five naira. 10 families will buy Peak milk for breakfast, meanwhile over 100 will go for what they can afford (Milk na Milk). We can compete in our economy also by joining force to produce goods that will force the market monopolies to bow to the masses yearnings. Today, Friesland has been forced to produce affordable powdered and liquid sachet milks for them to stay in business.

Celebrities / Re: [PHOTO] The V*gina Stadium: Design For Qatar’s World Cup by OBATIMO: 1:54pm On Nov 20, 2013
mcekpes: The design for the 1st of a series of new stadiums
built for Qatar’s 2022 world cup hosted tournament
has been released…and urm, it looks like a v**ina.
(Pictured above) Hehe. This is actually a virtual
rendering of the fully air conditioned 40,000-
capacity Al-Wakrah stadium which will be completed
by 2018.
The architects are a little embarrassed that their
design looks kinda like a v**ina. They said the
multi-billion dollar stadium is designed to resemble
the sails of a dhow boat which is traditionally used
for pearl fishing by Qataris…and not a v**ina!

I think Nigerian Press is mis-informing people, same way they have always been doing. This stadium design was design in shape of a fishing net thrown to catch fish, to reflect the rich culture of fishing in Al-Wakra, the comunity where the stadium is situated.
Travel / Re: E-passport Renewal/extension by OBATIMO: 7:17am On Jan 05, 2013
callygood:

There is nothing like extention of e-passport for now. You will apply for a new passport with different passport number.

Thanks callygood, I've done the renewal yesterday, the process was longer as I have to write letter, wait for approval and re-issue.
I spent 19,000 Naira to get it done in Abeokuta.
My old passport was stamped "cancelled without prejudice" so I was told its still valid with my VISA.
