Now look at this. Mikel a known out and out midfielder was snapped up by Mourinho. Mourinho schooled him into the holding midfield position. Together with Frank Lampard, Mikel contributed immensely to what will always be a momentous season for chelsea albeit all that is in the history books. Fast forward 2 years and Mourinho is shown the exit. Mikel goes through 5 or so different Managers is such a short time. Managers who had no idea what Mourinho's philosophy was for Mikel. In all that eight years, Mikel played out of position and survived. He even turned in sterling performances for his country.
