it depends on the type of paid employment you are leaving.
Life is not about being your own boss or making all the profit in the world.Life is about fulfillment and happiness.mind you,some paid employment is way better that being your own boss.
For me I'm lucky to be handling both successfully so far.

i would like to think that women are more inclined to monogamous relationships than men.

Men and Women, behave differently in bed with the person they have a relationship with. Maybe shame, may respect. I don't know. There's some things u can't ask your man or woman. That may be the reason for cheating.

Having sex with a stranger is totally different. U don't need to worry about what he or she must be thinking, or how u'll be judged. It is easyier to pull out your most perverted fantasies and that is what brings the fun.
Sex with love is pure romance. Sex without love is pure lust and an outlet, a chance to bring out the true other side of "you".

Therefore, i think Men and Women are the same. Physically or mentally, we have all cheated at least once in our life.
