PoliticsRe: Soyinka - APC’s Visit To Obasanjo: Nigeria Heading For Shipwreck by obeski13(m): 1:17pm On Dec 23, 2013
It is only people with short memory tht will be surprised at what prof has said...but can we blame d desperate APC? We cant blame them..for any party to win an election in nigeria,it needs d support of dis megalomaniacs..it is high time we rise up and wake up frm our slumber and decide who becomes our leader...we will continue to av inept and corrupt leaders as long as we abdicate our responsibilities and allow failed and corrupt leaders to decide who wins an election
PoliticsRe: Ngozi Okonjo Iweala And Occupy Nigeria Group: Twitter Fight! by obeski13(m): 11:51am On Dec 23, 2013
For those who hurl insults at jonathan and Okonjo for ineptitudeness and banditing economy figures on papers, i think it is high time we enlighten ourselves on dis issue..as long as most state and local govts are corrupt and inept,we will never see d gains of d efforts being made at d centre.how many state and local govts create jobs.how many houses have been built at these level of govt, how many acres of land have been cultivated, how many rural and feeders av being constructed.we can never feel d impacted of what govt is doing at d centre as long as otheir tiers of govt remain corrupt and inept.why do we waste our energy on a level of govt that is far frm us..if most states and local govts have done half of what fed govt has done in improving d economy,we wont be where we are job...most jobs that av being created comes frm fed govt initiatives.what happen to state and local govts.how many state governors av a project scheme to empower graduates.just like fg is doing.even we d populace we avnt helped matters at all.we still prefer to buy imported and smuggled goods to d one produce locally.if dont buy locally produce goods, how would they expand, build more outlets and employ more hands.as long as we continue to destroy and damage facilities for selfish reasons, we will continue to be in a circle.it is only in nigeria that u hear of pipelines, power stations and other important facilities are sabotaged.
PoliticsRe: Ngozi Okonjo Iweala And Occupy Nigeria Group: Twitter Fight! by obeski13(m): 11:15am On Dec 23, 2013
Let us respect her decision to reply back.becos u dont see d need for her replying back doesnt make her wrong..i am worried for the future of this country.,looking at the way d so called leaders of tomorrow behave and conduct themselves..why should someone or a group of people be so uncouth and rude to be making such an uncomplimentary remark about someone old enough to be their mother..cant we criticise without being abusive..funny enough, we are quick to criticise, but we dont suggest alternatives.what nigerians do not know is that most of these lazy and jobless groups go hehind to solicit for contracts frm this same government official they malign....what most people who joined obj and his gang in their macabre dance do not know is that this gang go to GEJ at night requesting for favours..60% of appointees in gej govt come frm them.
HealthRe: Expect Total Strike From Jan 6, Doctors Warn by obeski13(m): 8:49pm On Dec 22, 2013
When ASUU went on strike, only few people could see beyond d strike enough and condemn d strike becos it is self serving.i am not surprised dat NMA is coming up wit their own.dis is becos they know majority of d populace are gullible..most nigerians are quick to blame govt at every opportunity.how many people care to know d demand of dis unions..it took d very harsh stand of late Margaret Thatcher on labour unions in Uk before UK economy could be free frm incessant strike.if we dont want our economy to collapse,i urge govt to deal ruthlessly wit dis greedy, selfish and wicked unions who do not care abt d economy.d problem is not with dis govt, but wit greedy workers who dont care abt people coming behind

If she has family members that are of stable mental health, i wilj advise them to caution her frm d blasphamy she is oozing out frm her demented brain via d mouth.am only worried for her children becos of d curse she is attracting to them.
PoliticsRe: Okonjo-Iweala To Reps - When You Invite Ministers, Treat Them With Respect! by obeski13(m): 3:01am On Dec 21, 2013
Reading comments made by some people has really justified d assertion that common sense is not common.all d grandstanding and braggadocio displayed by mr jibril is made to intimidate her..all what i expected d committee to do is to ask her if she would be able to cope wit d rigours of questioning her..d statement she made that she was sick was just a passing statement ;to show to d committee, that despite her ill-health,she still obliged them by coming.d most reasonable thing for them to av done is to ask her if she is strong enough to answer questions.
PoliticsRe: Okonjo-Iweala To Reps - When You Invite Ministers, Treat Them With Respect! by obeski13(m): 2:39am On Dec 21, 2013
Learn to be civil and polite when airing ur opinion..look at someone who is not dumb and stupid calling his president a dumb...d woman got to d pinnacle of her career with a dint of hard work..i am not here to join issues with rude and stupid idiots..talk is cheap.how many of these lousy, loose mouths have held position of responsibility and authority before?it is when u av been saddled wit such a job in a very corrupt, lawless country like nigeria,u will then appriciate what dis woman is doing..if governance is that easy,EDO state guv would av performed miracle in Edo..mr jibril's behaviour is condemnable,.stop be a chauvinist.
PoliticsRe: Okonjo-Iweala To Reps - When You Invite Ministers, Treat Them With Respect! by obeski13(m): 8:04pm On Dec 20, 2013
I laughed when someone said that being a vice president of world bank is just an opportunity which any other nigerian could av occupied.for ur infomation , do u know how many nigerians are working at world bank..d post is not for mediocres..even if d committee agreed on what d chairman said,d way and manner he said it behoves of d position he holds.for crying out loud, there is no where in d world where ministers are sumnoned d way they do in nigeria.in America, committe in d congress send questions to secretary thru electronics, and they respond back thru d same medium.it is only in an important situation that they are invited physically.frm what i saw on TV, it is a clear case of impoliteness, aggression and lack of respect on d part of mr chairman.
PoliticsRe: Okonjo-Iweala To Reps - When You Invite Ministers, Treat Them With Respect! by obeski13(m): 6:09pm On Dec 20, 2013
Looking at the rude and irresponsible manner mr jibrin spoke to Mrs iweala,it is obvious there is more to it than meet d eyes. imagine a 37 yr old rascal insulting a woman old enough to be his mother..in all areas of life, mrs iweala is far above d rude and impolite boy frm Kano.talking about his CV.it is laughable..yes,he has PhD, but we know how such certificates are given to people of his like...for his certificates frm Havard and london business school.he is not different from other nigerians who will do anything to av certifiticates of those schools, even if it is a 2.-week programme.if that is the way they dont have regard for women where he comes from,he must be told in an unmistakeable terms that u must show respect to people who are older than u are.
PoliticsRe: I Did Not Write Any Letter To My Father-iyabo Obasanjo by obeski13(m): 3:10pm On Dec 18, 2013
There is nothing in d letter compared to what Gbenga obasanjo said.if Gbenga can accuse obasanjo of sleeping with his wife, then it is left for people to decide if such a letter can be written.by his daughter.if segun osoba could corroborate what she said dat he actually met her in US.. And she told her abt her father's distruptive involvement in pdp crises and some other things she said in her letter, then i dont need to say much..i never knew some nigerians are as guillible as these.no wonder politicians take us for a ride..all what a politician need to do is to come on air deny any allegation with a wave of hand, and he will be believed.what a rudderless country we are.
SportsRe: Brazil 2004: Why Super Eagles Are Not Ready For The World Cup by obeski13(m): 10:16pm On Dec 15, 2013
I like ur submission and d strengths of mikel u highlighted..my problem wit mikel is his effectiveness in d role he is being played.yes he has d highest pass accuracy in d team, but how effective are those passes...mikel is not my type of player in d midfield.i will rather go for a combative player, who goes for d tackles, cover up or help his colleagues and quickly transit frm defending into attacking.
SportsRe: Brazil 2004: Why Super Eagles Are Not Ready For The World Cup by obeski13(m): 10:04pm On Dec 15, 2013
I am not surprised at moses's predicament at liverpool..moses is never a team player.that was why chelsea coach dispensed wit him.he is too individualistic and his final pass is a let down.
SportsRe: Brazil 2004: Why Super Eagles Are Not Ready For The World Cup by obeski13(m): 11:52am On Dec 15, 2013
I agree wit d thread.d team is not ready for Brazil.i want to mention areas that need fortification..d left and d right back need better and technical players.ambrose is d weakest link in dat defence..by d time nigeria play friendlies wit a more better technical side,we will see d defensive frailities of ambrose. D attack is another problem area..it is obvious that without Emenike our attack is dead.cdeye shld be dropped and replaced wit Brght Dike.dat boy has proven dat he is an efficient striker..ahmed musd shld be dropped to d bench.he is too wasteful.d most problematic area for d team is d midfield.i think Kesh knows dis..super eagles has lost d vibrancy in d midfield since sunday mba has lost form..we played our best game in d midfield when mba combined wit onazi.i hope mba will regain his form back.and hopefully, if iheanacho can lift up his game to d national team level, then it will be a plus.MIKEL Obi is d problem we av in d midfeld..when he plays as an offensive player he slow down d attack by holding on to d ball unnecessarily, thereby making emenike to run into offside.MIKEL as a defensive player may work at d world cup becos d style of play of most Europeans is abt space marking wc is what Mikel does.he dnesnt help other players,he doesnt go for tackles,he always go for loose balls.d only thing i like him for is dat he guides his ball well and doesnt lose it easily.but he often overdo it sometimes
FoodRe: FG Bans Fish Importation by obeski13(m): 3:23pm On Dec 09, 2013
Kudos to FG for his ambitious stand 'n reviving agric in nigeria..there is no way such a decision will not result in temporary discomfort.but at d end of d day.it will be to d benefit of d country...all over d world agric and agroallied industries have been d highest employers of labour.if we want to solve our unemployment problem.dis policy is one of d ways we can achieve it
CelebritiesRe: Funmi Martins’ Daughter, Mide’s Marriage Crashes Over Infidelity by obeski13(m): 9:45am On Dec 09, 2013
Sometimes i wonder whether some people think before they talk.for the ignoramus who are justifying her action based on d look of man ,where were they when mide lost her mum, and it was this boy that stood by her and her other sibblings..where were these new found admirers when she needed help most.i can bet it,she will pay dearly for her betrayal if indeed d story is true
EducationRe: New Lecturers Resume Work At AAUA To Replace Striking Ones by obeski13(m): 11:40am On Dec 08, 2013
D blame on d rot in our educational system is 40% govt, 30% school mgt, 30% lecturers..d truth must be told, d major problem bedevilling our education is majorly dat of mismanagement and cncompency of d part of d lecturers.there is no where in d world where gout fund university education sole as being demanded by ASSUU...most schools all over d world use internally generated revenue, grants and other sources wc often add up to abt 70% of their revenue to fund their schools.that is why we see schools all over d world coming to nigeria to lure nigerians into their schools... Do we know that d amount of funds public school av at their disposal in a year is more than d private schools?dis is a simple analogy of what am saying: an average public school with a population of 30, 000 students(both main students and part time) with an average fee of 100,000 naira per session amounts to 3billion naira per year.dis money is exclusive of allocation frm govt, and other sources.it must be noted that no penny is spend frm dis money on salaries of both academic and non academic staff.lets now analyse dat of private schools.an average rivate school charges 300,000 naira peq session, with a population of roughly on d average 5,000 students.it amounts to abt 1.5billion naira pbr session.it must be noted dat salaries of both academic and non academic staffs are paid frm dis amount.no govt allocation or intervention agenciy like TETF supplement dis amount..it is obvious dat funding is never d problem bedevelling our nstitutions
SportsRe: Manchester City To Sign Kelechi Iheanacho by obeski13(m): 4:58pm On Nov 26, 2013
If indeed the family has consulted God, and man city is d prefered club, so be it.but ordinarily, porto is a better choice.i dont know if d english FA policy of players meeting 70% appearance for national team is applicable to under age players.if so, then it may take longer than necessjry before he is given work permit to play in England.
SportsRe: Name Your 23-man Team That Keshi Should Take To The World Cup by obeski13(m): 11:10pm On Nov 24, 2013
If we can get d right cord in d midfield, then we may go far...in d attack, Osaze is a key player becos of his versatillity..as long as keshi sticks to 4-3-3 formation,ik uche may not av a place in dat team.is is becos d 3 attackers in 4-3-3 formation do a lot of hard work.they fall back often to take d ball frm d midfield before moving forward.hence d need for fast and strong strikers.since ik uche cupped d injury dat laid him off for several months, he has adopted a cautious style of play which is not suitable for 4 3 3. .
SportsRe: Name Your 23-man Team That Keshi Should Take To The World Cup by obeski13(m): 10:28pm On Nov 24, 2013
Selecting 23 players for world cup now is a difficult task.i will rather point out d weak link in d team..our right full back is d weakest link in d defence, hence d inclusion of Yobn to man d side, if he is in form..another problem area is the midfield.d only player that has d semblance of a true midfielder is Onazi..without mincing word Mikel is d greatest problem Keshi is having in dat midfield.MIKEL IS NOT EFFECTIVE EITHER AS AN OFÈNSIVE OR DEFENSIVE midfielder.when u play mikel as an offensive midfielder, he often hold on to d ball for too long several times thereby frusting most of d attacking moves..also he contributes nothing defensively.when u play Mikel as a defensive player, he only mark space.he doesnt go for tacles to win ball,he doesnt cover up for other players.it is Onayi that has been doing most of d running in d midfield.that was why when Mba was introduced frm quater finals at d Nations cup, we had a very strong midfield..he is also a good ball tackler.and he moves wit d ball well.i will suggest we invite Haruna lukmon, raymond azeez and iheanacho. As for d attack, musa shld be dropped to d bench.while Osaze shld be given a chance...my problem wit moses is that he doesnt play to instruction.most times he play to d gallery..
PoliticsRe: GEJ Threatens To Sue SaharaReporters, Thanks Nigerians For Their Solidarity by obeski13(m): 4:45pm On Nov 23, 2013
THE HIGH LEVEL OF MORAL DECADENCE AND IRRESPONSIBLE BEHAVIOUR AMONGST YOUTHS THIS DAYS IS VERY ALARMING..IT IS DISGUSTING TO SEE PEOPLE MAKING DEROGATORY REMARKS AGAINST THE PRESIDENT..LET THERE BE DECENCY AND DECORUM IN THE WAY WE ADDRESS HIM.D MAN IS OLD ENOUGH TO BE FATHER TO SOME OF US..I KNOW SOME OF US DO NOT HAVE REGARD FOR OUR PARENTS AT HOME. SIC).BUT WE SHOULD BE MINDFUL OF WHAT WE SAY IN PUBLIC BECAUSE THE WHOLE WORLD IS LISTENING TO WHATEVER WE SAY.IT IS D WAY WE ADDRESS OUR PRESIDENT THAT WILL INFUENCE THE WAY OTHER PEOPLE WILL PERCEIVE AND ADDRESS HIM
FoodRe: Jonathan Releases N9.9B For Cassava Bread by obeski13(m): 3:52pm On Nov 22, 2013
U are spot on.d cassave flakes being use has been found to contain low carbohydrate compared to wheat, and it has also been fortified with other vitamins and minerals.it will save d country over 10billion naira frm wheat importation

I am baffled d way some people trivialised serious issues on d alta of ethnic and religious sentiments...do we know what d amount allegedly embezzled by dis people would av done in creating jobs for millions of youths..for d proponets of both Oduah and Ikuforoji, how much av u benefitted frm d alleged stolen fund
