Rubbish!

Buhari and his fellow conspirators looted CBN vaults as they staged their coup.

As the mutineers headed to state house, Marina to arrest Shagari another group headed to the CBN to make huge transfers of Nigeria's foreign reserves.

The money was meant to serve as a retirement slush fund incase the coup failed and also to pay off western lobby groups to help solicit support for their illegal overthrowing of a democratically elected civilian govt.

If you doubt this then check out the sharp decline of Nigeria's forex reserves between 1983 December and January 1984!

Buhari nah heavy thief!
Ok

Most of the aircrafts in the Nigerian Airways were seized abroad over huge debts owed by the airline.

Buhari refused to pay the debt and most of the aircraft were auctioned by foreign countries to recoup their money being owed by the airliner
Most importantly there was no money to pay the debts and the airline had suffered gross mismanagement over the years. It is wrong to blame buhari for the demise.

When he came on board he he actually inherited 33 planes , due to the uncertainty caused by his meaningless coup some lessors withdrew some of their aircraft living him with 22 at the time the wiki article mentioned.. please I am not debating with you that is being paid to defend the govt , I am only informing gullible people who might not know that Buhari did not achieve a single thing as military head of state just like he is going today
No problem but the decent thing to do is to change the image you painted on the first page of buhari destroying the nigeria airways with 33 "fantastic" planes to 6 in 22 months.

Do not mislead people out of hate, there were no private Airlines in Nigeria in 1984!
Such bold lies. Its a pity this forum has become one that people just say whatever they like without facts

Stop changing history see below except from Wikipedia just 3 months after he took power ,this proves Buhari inherited a lot of working planes

"The fleet was 22-strong in March 1985, comprising two DC-10-30s, four Airbus A310s, three Boeing 707-320Cs, two Boeing 727-200s, ten Boeing 737-200s, and one Boeing 737-200C;"
I thought you said buhari left nigeria with 6 planes from 33 he inherited, how come you are quoting 22 aircrafts in 1985.

Ps, don't debate people with wikipedia as reference next time.

So Buhari that assumed office in Dec 1983 was able to order Aircraft that were delivered in Feb 1983 , Buhari must be a time traveller ...Please if you don't know the order process of Aircraft don't come here and say Jack .. All the aircraft you mentioned there was ordered by the Shagari govt ,the fact that a few were delivered in 1984 doesn't mean Buhari ordered them ...Madam it is on record that Buhari didn't initiate a single capital project a military head of state (pls prove me wrong) ..

Are you aware that Buhari inherited from Shagari 28 sepecat Jaguars , 29 L39 Albatros , 29 alpha jets, about 18 Mig 21s and 12 C130 transport planes making Nigeria the most equipped Airforce in the region at that time , are you also aware that in 20 months under BUHARI this same Airforce will be a shadow of itself ...we are all living witnesses to him performing the same failure all over again ..Keep pretending he is a great leader Okay but one of these days his incompetence will touch you where you might never recover
Lies

The demise of the airline began just after being managed by KLM. During the reign of Shehu Shagari, the airline accumulated enormous debts and in fact at the end of the administration, the debts were even bigger than its revenue. To make the matter worse, the airline had an excessive number of staff with up to 500 staff for each plane. By 1984, which corresponded to the reign of General Buhari, about nine of the aircraft were not serviceable and the airline had up to 8500 employees even though it had no need for most of them. As a matter of fact, few ideas were initiated during the administrations but these proved abortive.

When Buhari took over from Shagari he inherited a Nigeria Airways which was then the biggest airline in Africa and the middle east with 33 operational aircraft but under Buhari's poor leadership 15 months later the same airline would cut over a thousand jobs and was reduced to a 6 aircraft airline from where it never ever recovered ..
You guys just lie shamelessly, even when it is on record that shagari started the rot and many planes we delivered under buhari between 1983-1984 in an attempt to revive the airline.

Shagari was in office from 1979 to 1983. They say his government looted the national treasury. Things were not so good but Nigeria did not go into an economic recession. Then Buhari came as military Head of State and was in office from 1983 to 1985. They say he did not loot. But during his time in office, Nigeria fell into a deep economic recession. Then came Babangida. They say he looted Nigeria from 1985 to 1993. Yet there was no economic recession. After Babangida came Shonekan and Abacha from 1993 to 1998. Abacha was also said to have looted the treasury. In fact, his loot stashed abroad is still being recovered till today. Yet there was still no economic recession. From 1998 to 2015, we have had Abdulsalami, Obasanjo, Yar'Adua and Jonathan. All administrations were accused of looting the treasury. Still there was no recession. Now Buhari is back and we are once again in a recession and you say "LOOTING" of the Jonathan years is the cause? Are we okay Do u need a prophet to tell u that this pmb is a proven failure?
stop telling silly lies

Nigeria's economy was last in recession, for less than a year, in 1991, NBS data shows. It also experienced a prolonged recession from 1982 until 1984.

So the protest got messed up in the end (chuckles). The average Nigerian is/has an empty head, i create a thread few days ago on how we are about to loose a golden oppurtunity to make a statement to the ruling class from local to aso rock, from baracks to formations. We are not deep thinkers, we are blind senseless followers. Just as we fell for the guy without shoes, we fell for fake change, we were about to march without asking questions.
Tuface was dumb enough to allow himself get used by a group selling an idea he knows nothing about (little wonder he chickened out effortlessly.

The mistake:
You dont annouce a protest against a serving government in nigeria, IT WILL BE CRUSHED. In 2012, the protest started as anti fuel price hike but the moment it transformed to gej out, soldiers we deployed because the government saw it as being sponsored. Tuface should have annouced this as an anti Apc and Pdp protest.

Optimism:
I hope someone takes the mantle where tuface left it, i was hoping by now all other celebrity would have insisted they would continue with the protest, this will probably bring 2face in tomorrow morning (who EIE epp). (EiE mercy abang and co lost out to red media in the 2015 elections, they want a payback with this protest.)

Conclusion:
Our youth and yoots should get their acts together, learn to think deep and be strategic in there planned actions going forward.

Forgive my english

Please get some education
PoliticsRe: FG Proposes N70m For Training Livestock Rearers, Cattlemen by obiageIi(f): 3:06pm On Feb 04, 2017
naptu2:
Many countries around the world have national parks and game reserves for the conservation of animals and plants. Examples in Nigeria include the Yankari Game Reserve, the Obudu Cattle Ranch, the National Arboretum in Abuja, etc.

The problem is that many poachers would like to kill the animals in the reserves. For example, poachers would like to kill the elephants and sell their tusks to the Chinese. Loggers would also like to cut down the trees in the parks and reserves.

Therefore, the Nigerian National Parks Service (NPS) employs armed park rangers to guard the national parks. It is these park rangers that the conservator-general of the federation is referring to. He says that they requested that the Nigerian Army should train them, but the cost was too high, so they've found other ways to train them.

Now read the (badly written) article again.

Current realities under Buhari has gone beyond who lost or won the 2015 election.

How much is the cost of a litre of kerosene? Can't the FG at least subsidise it for the common man that uses it for cooking?
I mean, must the poor always bear the brunt of Buhari's complacency and indifference towards economic issues?
Think outside the box.
Maybe he is bearing the brunt of not building a refinery when we had the money to do so
