rvp20182: Vax, there is nothing a country like Ghana can tell anybody sane about debt when the country has gone into distress 16 times in last 60yrs each bailout lasting 3yrs.You first became bankrupt in 1961 proving the racist Brits right that Africans were not ready for independence.Kenya was not even independent by the time your country couldn't meet it's domestic and external obligation. You became so broke you exiled Kwame Nkrumah to Guinea and invited IMF to colonize you before Kenya became independent.IMF as we speak ended running your internal affairs this year 2nd quarter and will be back in another two years, because face it you're just a bunch of rodent eating neaderthedal unable to run their internal affairs and big dream is become Nairobi in 2050 when you expect to be free Western AID .I mean I thought Tanzania were the worse but Nyerere run TZ for 20yrs before TZ went broke in 1985..but Ghana..1961..less than 10yrs into self rule and you had filled for bankruptcy. The Brits made a huge mistake to let go of some of their colonies..at least the French knew it was foolhardy and still run those colonies.. except for the breakaway Rwanda this hurts coming from a brother.... |

Foreign Affairs › Re: Kenya Is Ahead of Nigeria In All Aspect (Facts Don't Lie) by obidark: 1:16pm On Nov 25, 2019 |
vaxx1: Your country is the worse hit. Don't talk about debt anymore. kenya even has the nature to be blame about it...
Your debt book alone has about 60 billion dollar for a nation of about 47 million. Your country has already breached key debt service to revenue ration. you are probably paying above 35 percent.....
This is why you are overtaxed, you Kenyans are paying in form of tax .
how much is your goverment planning to set aside to pay for the interest of fund borrowed in 2019? Your economy does not even expand to accommodate these rising debt, it has already iimpact negatively on kenya Debt-to-GDP Ratio, which currently stands at almost 61 percent.
According to kenya Treasury, all the money issued recently thru the eurobond will be used to service debt. This means that proceeds from debt were not earmarked for specific capital projects and that some of it were to be spent on servicing existing debts. Common sense should tell kenya that this is financially unsound and liability to the poor people of kenya
my golden egg advice , if your debt are invested in sectors that would not pay back for itself in the future as we see in your SGR, then kenya is sitting on a time bomb about to collapsed.
As for Ghana , even it she went for 100 times IMF bail out , it still make logical sense, she has not defaulted on its debts commitment in recent times, amd by this alone , nvestors will not react negatively to Ghana debt numbers.we keep attracting investor day by day. far bigger that whatever your country can ever imagine . ever sector are cover, be it oil , Minning and cocoa. just this year alone Ghana's earnings from the exports sector are picking up strongly. we earn close to 13.6 billion dollar just for the year of October compare to 12.5 billion we recorded last year in 2018. we aren't yet in December yet . our tourism sector in getting it big this time . December is gonna be the Bomb in Ghana
Total earnings for the country ending October this year stood at $13.6 b up from the $12.5 b recorded in October 2018.
our earning just for This year has resulted in a trade balance of 1.8 billion ending in October, compared to 1..6 billion we secured for the same period in 2018.
kenya is a struggling nation . You should focus on good sufficiency first before talking about debt management ... chai.... olomo ghana.... asante.... nkrunna.... na here you hide....?? how you dey....?? |

Secondly, there is no local body in Nigeria that can be impartial.
