Such situation happened to a friend.Her Bible was as big as anything.She robbed him with the no sex until white and with the virgin theory.

I wish we can be more sensitize on issues that are this fragile. I will like to let you know that it is a good standard and biblical incline to wait until after wedding before sex, this here is not to force who don't want to wait till then, God will be the judge,but in this case the wedding has been done, the truth is the highest and recognizable wedding in the bible is that you meet the parent officially and ask for their daughters hand in marriage, if they agree, the bible ask you to pay the bride price and other rites and that settles it. The problem now is that we have been brain wash and make it moral obligation that white wedding is the only acceptable wedding, No it is not. please dear friend don't be ignorant, traditional wedding is the first acceptable wedding in the word of God. feel free to make a constructive argument on this write-up

NB: The issue here is not sex before marriage.
But your inability to honour your own word.

If you were not in agreement with her decision and her response when you asked about this matter, why didn't you say so?
Why didn't you tell her you can't do what she is asking for.

You are now abusing your authority as a man and head of the family.

Even if she eventually agrees to sex before the church wedding, she will not be happy with you - deep down in her heart, she will not.

You have two options.
1. Keep your word to her and go to church before you have sex.
2. Go back to her kinsmen to collect your bride price - though you would be seriously offending this girl and her family because you broke the agreement not the other way round.
