I intend to change my Radiator from what it came with to a double cell radiator. Honestly I don't know if the radiator that came with the car is single or double cell.

The car is to Toyota Camry LE 2012.

If I change it , please do I also need to change the water pump ?

I like the car a lot

Since yesterday my car temperature goes slightly above middle and sometimes even goes to high when my AC is on and in in stagnant Traffic for a while. When I turn the AC off it comes back to the middle

Several vehicle manufacturers have solved this issue with introducing different techniques of priming the fuel injector lines.

Peugeot, and landrovers prime the fuel line immediately the drivers door is opened, meaning as soon as you open the drivers door, the fuel pump is activated for 10secs then stops. It resumes if vehicle is started.

Honda's, Kia's, Hyundai, and a bunch of American models prime the system when the key is turned to ignition.


These methods all ensure you have a quick start when required at any time.

I personally modified a rav4 2010 recently as i didn't see the need bringing down the fuel tank to replace the FPR and there was a lot of rust under the car. I used the drivers door signal.


In the past the fuel pumps came on immediately ignition was turned on, you get a quick start yes, but if vehicle was involved in an accident, you have a fuel leak, you have a steady flow of fuel which results in a really bad fire.

So what is the solution to my issue?

The funny thing about this issue is that it seems to happen to everyone... Around November and February... I bet the fuel in the filling stations those period were not good. Just my opinion. Or your car is above 120k miles (typical life of a fuel pump)

Happened to me too. You can change the complete full pump assembly . This would set you back about 20k or close. Honestly it is better than changing this and that which can easily add close to 20k if care is not taken.

Second option is to live with it, start the car twice to get up and go, starter life would be slight affected. The problem is not the pump it self but the ability of fuel pump assembly to retain pressure after sitting a long time/over night {normally handled by the fuel pressure regulator} and unfortunately since your system is a returnless system, putting the key in the on position will not help you build initial fuel pressure.

Thanks you just said it's not the fuel pump. My odo reads about 64000 miles . Who is the solution?

My 2012 Camry has this same issue. Please who can advice.

Anything you put will work.

Engine will get to operating temp in 15mins as long as the engine thermostat is functional.

The only difference is the amount of coolant the double cell would and the rate of heat dissipation.



Now imagine a person was shot and bleeding out, who would die quicker the man with 5pints of blood or 3pints.


I would rather go for the double cell because it offers more protection in case of a leak, I could travel a further distance before I find glue

As long as this is coming from the guru Gazzuzz. I believe it hook line and sinker.

Please make your research and give us feedback du-craft produces brake disc but oga you will pay with your nose that is why they first sell it as a package to you and if you insist on pads only they warn you. Please when ever you go to the us visit their shop and see for your self. They give you a complete package of disc and pads

If you want to use ducraft brakes make sure you buy ducraft discs also both are compactible if you buy only the pads it will damage any other disc you are using even if it is a new disc because ducraft is pure ceramic cannot go on steel discs

This is the fallacy of the year. Ducraft only manufacturers brake pads.

. As long as your disc rotors do not have scars and grooves and it’s not rusty you can use your rotors on your new ducraft ceramic brake pads. If his rotors are grooved it will eat up your ceramic brake pads
