Please I am aware that most mechanics on the island ( Lekki,Ikoyi, Vi and ajah) really don't know what they are doing. I live in Ajah here in Lagos.

The only mechanic I trust is on the mainland his name is Gazzuzz but he doesn't like handling clients from the island . due to reasons best known to him.

Please who can recommend any very competent mechanic on the island for me even down to ajah Please I don't need all those over packaged ones ooohh.

Sometime this year i noticed that the car tends to power down when I'm driving ( the engine just goes off). But when i crank it up again it starts immediately like nothing happened. I took it to a mechanic and he cleaned my throttle body, the engine stalling stopped for about 2 months after cleaning the throttle body.

This issue (engine stalling) while driving started again just yesterday. I really don't know what could be causing this.

Please, house, I have a lexus 300, the hand brake is up ( it goes three stages as you press down the hand brake and also three stages when you pull it up).
Now, it is up and I noticed that my car is hesitating when accelerating. Which position should the hand brake be, whether up or should be pressed down?

I want to commend Moses also known as mosbus here on Nairaland for fixing my ac issues. I had taken the car to other technicians and they told me my compressor was bad blah blah blah. But when I contacted Mosbus he told me to bring the car to his workshop at isolo in Lagos and he fixed my ac issues without touching my compressor. It turns out my compressor is in tip top shape . He has all the tools and machines for ac fixing. The guy is "good people"

Replacing oil pump will not solve low oil pressure issues.

You have excessive clearance between crankshaft and bearings.

You need to do a major engine overhaul which will involve replacing the crankshaft or cutting it to next possible size and replacing bearings.

engine should be fine. Have it inspected. Start by draining the oil into a clean container and inspecting for metal particles.

Gazzuzz the guru, please if their are metal particles in it. What does it signify and what's the remedy?

Advise your mechanic that when he's cleaning the throttle body he should not manually open the throttle body with his hand. Make sure someone depresses the accelerator pedal to open the throttle body so that the cleaning spray can go in properly . And be weary that after cleaning your throttle body the car's rpm at idle will increase but not to worry . The car's computer will gradually readjust the rpm. Hope I'm making sense.

I've cleaned my throttle body before and I directed my mechanic on what to do. Thank God for the internet.
