@georgio You've not given ur review on SIN CITY. |
@Sisi_Kill But BLACKBERRY BABES is not a confusing film. Its just plain wack. Well, at least, a Nigerian film was discussed. In a way. ![]() |
@Sisi_Kill Na wa o! U get time to dey write long essay for wack film like BLACKBERRY BABES. ![]() |
@milehigh06 IJE is not available on DVD or VCD at the moment. |
vescucci:@vescucci Too much Dr. Dre in the system. ![]() @iice Wetin I do now? ![]()
prince of persia
@ijaw_girl![]() |
@justkunmi I also like the comic book feel as well. I enjoyed SIN CITY a lot more than that crappy THE SPIRIT. Frank Miller sucks as a director without Robert Rodriguez. |
@iice I never knew Jake Gyllenhaal had fans. The only reason why I want to watch SOURCE CODE is because of its story and not for some actor or actress. I hope the film doesn't mess up sha. |
Emmyk:@Emmyk LIMITLESS is a 2011 movie. ![]() |
teeluv:@teeluv Incredible! And I was about to check out this film. |
@semid4lyfe No kwams. ![]() |
HOP is the No. 1 movie in the U.S. making an estimated $38 million over the weekend. SOURCE CODE debuts at No. 2 with an estimate of $15 million. |
@iice and vescucci Hmm! Seems like Jake Gyllenhaal is not a bankable actor. He's good but bankability is a problem :-/ |
semid4lyfe:@semid4lyfe I watch soccer a lot. But not to the point of supporting football clubs. ![]() I'm on DStv premium anyway. So, is it because of the recent acquisition of the UCL broadcast rights dat DStv increased their subscription prices? |
@semid4lyfe So, HiTv won't cover next season's UEFA Champions League. And I'm sure to watch those matches next season, one must subscribe to either Compact Plus or Premium bouquets on DSTV. |
eghost247:@eghost247 It was a waste of money for me when I first saw it at the cinemas earlier this year. |
iice:@iice Na so we see am. HOP might be No. 1 at the U.S. over the weekend. We'll know later today. |
@iice and vescucci Lets wait and see what happens after the release of THE DARK KNIGHT RISES in 2012. 'HOP' made more money than 'SOURCE CODE' on Friday at the U.S. Box Office. |
@semid4lyfe What do you mean by a better list? Everybody is entitled to his or her opinions. You might say your list is better, but another person might see it and say its crap. Just know that the films you like, others might not like it. So learn to respect that. Just because you're a moderator in Nairaland doesn't mean you can insult people as well. Semid4lyfe, you're still my man all the same. ![]() |
@iice and eghost247 So, this means BATTLE LOS ANGELES is not a fantastic film. ![]() |
@semid4lyfe Clint Eastwood is da bomb. Period. ![]() @iice GBAM!!! ![]() |
SIN CITY (2005) is based on 3 stories of the Frank Miller comic book series which are: -THAT YELLOW BASTERD (Bruce Willis story) -THE HARD GOODBYE (Mickey Rourke's story) -THE BIG FAT KILL (Clive Owen's story) SIN CITY was violent, visually stunning and the Mickey Rourke and Clive Owen stories in the film were impressive. Even though the stories were not so awesome, SIN CITY was one of my best films of 2005. I'll give SIN CITY an 85% rating. |
My best movie of 2010 will be among these: 127 Hours Alice in Wonderland (2010) Black Swan Easy-A The Fighter How to Train Your Dragon Ije - The Journey Inception The King's Speech My Name is Khan Prince of Persia: The Sands of Time (2010) RED (2010) Salt The Social Network Toy Story 3 |
@iice and vescucci I read somewhere on the internet that there's going to be a Justice League movie and a rebooted Batman movie after THE DARK KNIGHT RISES. Christopher Nolan and Emma Thomas will remain as producers in the rebooted Batman movie. Have y'all come across anything like that? The news is still shaky in a way. ![]() |
@eghost247 U don go watch am sharp sharp. ![]() I'll check out BATTLE LOS ANGELES on Monday. There's election this Saturday in Nigeria. |
@justkunmi You know very well SIN CITY is the next movie to review. So, lets kick-off already. |
this thread don try~
@ijaw_girl No be small thing. After 9 pages, we got tired of talking about confusing films. Its now an NC-17 thread. ![]() @Vieira BLACKBERRY BABES is not confusing. Its wack. |
This place is becoming eye-popping. |
@iice I dey suspect Rotten Tomatoes at times. Metacritic can be mean when it comes to ratings. ![]() |
not interested in any of the movies
@ijaw_girl You're on your own. ![]() |
@iice As for April, I'm looking forward to watching "Source Code", "Rio", "Fast Five" and "Scream 4". SOURCE CODE reviews as at April 1 2011: Rotten Tomatoes: 87% Metacritic: 74/100 Flixster: 82% Yahoo Movies Users: A- |
spikedcylinder:@spikedcylinder Na wa for you o!! vescucci:@vescucci Abeg. Help ask those FBI guys well well. |
