Justin Timberlake was not bad in "The Social Network". He tried.
But I never believed he could get a nomination in Golden Globes talk less of Oscars.

MRbrownJAY:
que pasa?! whats that for?! dont you like free stuff?! lol

@MRbrownJAY
Never mind  I like free stuff as well but not that type.

semid4lyfe:
But Natalie Portman gave a very convincing performance sha

@semid4lyfe
Yeah!! Natalie Portman was outstanding. As well as Mila Kunis. I won't say Black Swan's story was dry or uninteresting, but melodramatic and psychological. But I felt there were some aspects of the story where more emphasis should have been placed on. The visual effects were not bad as well.

@MRbrownJAY
Hmmm!!
Have you seen "127 Hours"? That film was cool.

aieromon:
Not every true story should be put in picture then.Landing people on the train is way better than derailing it.It was a waste of my bandwidth just like The American.

@aieromon
"THE AMERICAN"!!  The film taya me o!!

And guy, which film did you see people jumping onto moving planes??

semid4lyfe:
Slept off while watching it last night but finished it early this morning.

All I can say is good acting for a dull & uninteresting movie

@semid4lyfe
You like the film jare. Especially that scene.

@Bobi Joe
"Inale" premiered in one of these Nigerian cinemas last year.

I'll check out "Black Gold" when it premieres in Nigeria.

1luvkipsus:
I am watching a Nigerian movie called 'CANDY GIRLS'  right now and what looked like a 'blue film' is being shown intermittently.This is applicable to many other Nigerian movies.For God's sake,these are suppose to be a home videos!Are our films bein censored atall?I dont think this is right.

I thought "Candy Girls" was a Ghanaian movie.
Are u guys sure of all these nominees?
Though I'm sure of Inception, Harry Potter & the Hallows, The Social Network,
Pls confirm. BYEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE
@Yoh!
The nominations are correct.

If you're still in doubt, please visit http://oscar.go.com/nominations

Mobinga:
lemme download these movies and watch sef. Im lagging behind in the movie industry

@Mobinga
Carry go! Nothing do you.

@kadman
Remember that Natalie Portman and Annette Bening are also strong contenders in the Best Actress category.

@ijaw_girl
You're funny.

Christopher Nolan got snubbed in the Best Director category.

I'm hoping Hans Zimmer will win the Best Original Score for "Inception".

Best Picture will go to either "The King's Speech" or "The Social Network". But its a tough category anyway.  The nominees in this category are better than those selected last year.

The kids are all right. . .Annette Benning? No really interested in watching that. Maybe next month

@iice
There's no need to be in a hurry to watch it. But Annette Benning and Julianne Moore gave brilliant performances in the film.

The 6-episode "Spartacus: Gods of the Arena" started on January 21 2011 and will end on February 25 2011.

iice:
True Grit. Enjoyed it. Though the guttural twang takes a bit of getting used to.

@iice
Hmm!! You're in the awards season spirit. I saw "The Kids Are All Right" recently. It was not bad.

So next on queue, "The King's Speech" and "True Grit (2010)". Hopefully.

justkunmi:
And on a similar note, you guys should see 'Meet the Spartans' lol.

@JK
"Meet the Spartans" was rubbish.

Jesse Jagz - Jago

@Nuriel2200
What's up with the flag counter?

iice:
The King's Speech. Loved it!

@iice
I need to watch that film.

@topic
Piranha 3D (2010). Ridiculous, bloody and nasty.

"300" was one of the films that captivated me in 2007.
Filled with stunning visuals, stylizied violence and memorable quotes, "300" will be remembered as the film that shot the careers of Gerard Butler and Zack Snyder to new heights.

I'll give "300" an 87% rating.
