@JK
WHHAAATT!! "Slumdog Millionaire" got a 68% overall rating. I'm shocked. It deserves much more than that.

Please, in the name of God, do not review "Armoured".

@v3
Na wa o! U dey suggest film wey just come out today.

@JK
Lets review either:
Precious (2009)
Iron Man 2 (2010) Make I behave like V3.
Slumdog Millionaire (2008)

The 2010 MTV Movie Awards will be held on June 6 2010. Aziz Ansari will be the host.
Here are some of the nominees:

BEST MOVIE
- Alice in Wonderland (2010)
- Avatar
- The Hangover
- Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince
- The Twilight Saga: New Moon

BEST VILLIAN
Christoph Waltz in Inglourious Basterds
Helena Bonham Carter in Alice in Wonderland
Ken Jeong in The Hangover
Stephen Lang in Avatar
Tom Felton in Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince

The Last Song was initially one of the nominees in the Best Movie category. But it was later removed. I thank God for that.

@khanye
I also wish Andy Whitfield (Spartacus) a speedy recovery as well. Blood cancer is a bad thing.

@Orikinla
The win was quite a surprise. People were tipping Mike Leigh's "Another Year" for the grand prize.

@luizworld
Genesis Deluxe Cinemas in Lekki, Lagos, Nigeria will start showing "Prince of Persia: The Sands of Time" on Wednesday.

@JK
How can a movie be "good" with a rating like 44.33%? It means that it was bad.
It had a star-studded cast but the execution of the story was poor.

@luizworld
"Prince of Persia: The Sands of Time" will be shown in Nigeria, UK and U.S. starting on Thursday.
Are you outside these countries? Or did you download it?

I know that some critics have seen the film in a special screening and the reviews they gave it was not encouraging to me.

@cabali
Intimacy and the City Its the NL word filter.

@cabali
Don't forget "Iron Man 2" made $128 million in its opening weekend. But now, "Iron Man 2" is losing stamina. It needs Red Bull for more energy and wings to fly to the top.

May is a very tough month for summer movies.
You forgot to mention the disappointing opening weekend of MacGruber $4.1 million.

"Prince of Persia: The Sands of Time" and "S.ex and the City 2" will be opening this weekend. Can "Shrek Forever After" stay at the top for the second week?

The Movie Club is back!!!!

@JK
I noticed that the reviews earlier given for "Nine" has suddenly disappeared.

I rated "Nine" 38%. Spiked rated it 50%. Eldee gave it 45%.

Pls were did the movie club thread vanish to

Mehn! I search for the topic I no see am. It has suddenly disappeared.

@doyin13
I can play the role of "Militia" very well.

"Men In Tights (1993)" is the best Robin Hood movie. That Kevin Costner version of Robin Hood na Yawa. The guy no sabi do British accent at all.

teeluv:
there is no way she would be in the sequel after dt statement, omg, the girl harsh ooo

@teeluv
Yeah! She had a difficult time working with Michael Bay in Transformers 2. So, she dropped the offer of appearing in "Transformers 3".

@cabali
Megan Fox and Michael Bay were never dating. During the filming of "Transformers 2", Megan Fox called Michael Bay "a modern day version of Adolf Hitler".

The nominees in that Best Movie category are quite amusing.

Transformers 3 will be out by Summer of 2011. And Yes, Megan Fox will not be in it. Maybe its because of the quarrel she had with director Michael Bay during the filming of Transformers 2.

@cabali
Its really been very bad for remakes this year. "Clash of the Titans", "A Nightmare on Elm Street", "Robin Hood", etc. it has been from one bad review to another.

@lynxnoon
"The Good, The Bad and The Ugly" It was too easy now.

Megan Fox will not be featuring in the third installment of the "Transformers" movie. It was her decision to call it quits.

@Darthmaul
Thats because some will post quotes from Television series instead of movies.

Heroes Season 4 is real. It was suppose to end in Season 5 but the National Broadcasting Company (NBC) in the U.S. canceled the show entirely and their will be no Season 5.

New flicks showing this weekend at the cinemas are: "Shrek Forever After" & "MacGruber".

63rd Cannes Film Festival will be ending on May 23rd 2010. I wonder who will win the prestigious Palm d'Or prize. "The White Ribbon" (a German movie) won it last year.

Documentary quotes should also be included.

I know "Prince of Persia: The Sands of Time" movie will be out on May 28 2010.
Just be very careful with all those pirated Alaba films.

Multi-Links ke? Before one can even connect it will take 4 hours.

v3:
Na God go punish these alaba boys

I just saw Prince of Persia

Na fake shebi? Just like how I saw Spartacus season 2. Episodes 10-13 of Season 1 divided into 2. FAKE!! FAKE!! FAKE!!

@Aloy+Emeka
I read somewhere in the papers where a special release party will be held at the Civic center for the premiere of "S.ex and the City 2" in Lagos on May 27 2010. Carl Thomas and other renowned Nigerian artistes will be performing on that day.

Why can't such a thing be done for a Nigerian movie? The main problem the Nigerian film industry is facing are the practitioners.

"Prince of Persia: The Sands of Time" & "S.ex and the City 2" will compete for the top spot next week Friday.
