For me, going to the cinemas depends on the kind of film being shown. Some films are not worth watching at the cinemas talk less of watching them on DVD.

@iice
Na hardware failure o! Those missing posts from May 9 to 12, 2010 has disappeared.

Hmm!! Robin Hood!  Wait, I've checked the cinemas and I don't think it will be shown this weekend here in Lagos. I'll keep checking sha.

@JK
I wonder the same thing o. Posts from May 9 -12, 2010 have vanished.
I heard that it was due to a hardware failure. I hope things get better.

@spikedcylinder
Posts from May 9 - 12 2010 are missing.
I hope they get recovered soon.

"Iron Man 2" is still worth having a look sha.

@vescucci
Yeah! I saw "Iron Man 2" today at the Genesis cinemas. It was a high turn out as the cinema hall was filled to capacity.
Its a good film but I prefer the first one.

@Mad_Max
Please find recent without make-up photos of Oprah Winfrey and Megan Fox.

"Armored"! Hmm!! Another wack film being considered for review.

WHHAAAATTT!!! "IRON MAN 2" made $52 million on Friday at the U.S. Box Office.

Is it "Nine" the musical or "9" the animation?

I just finished watching "Iron Man 2" at Genesis Deluxe Cinemas. The cinema hall was filled to capacity.
I felt "Iron Man 2" was much funnier and dramatic than the first one. I can even count the number of action scenes in the movie.
But all and all, its a good movie even though I liked the first one in terms of storyline.

@eldee
Your last post here became invisible.  Wetin happen?
Alice in Wonderland (2010) came out in March and we started reviewing it here on April. That's a month after its first theatrical release.

@topic
Nairaland and Facebook.

@Mad_Max
That Oprah Winfrey photograph is too old. That was when she starred in "The Color Purple (1985)".

Angelina Jolie is hot.
Megan Fox is good. I'm shocked.
Christina Applegate looks like someone that has received a serious beating.
Juliette Lewis is

Yeah! Lets see the following celebrities without make-up:
- Nicole Kidman
- Megan Fox
- Oprah Winfrey
- Paula Abdul
- Angelina Jolie

I'm sure these celebrities will resemble "ogbanje" without make-up.

@JK
I've noticed that its easy for people to pick a film to review. But when its time to actually start reviewing, you'll hardly see them. Or they might not even review the movie he/she voted for and might start going off-topic.
If you vote for a movie, please endeavour to review and rate it.

@vescucci
Drew Barrymore looks like a dope addict without make-up and Barbara Streisand would have been a good choice for the role of Freddy Krugar.

@v3
The title is "Trois 2: Pandora's Box". Where I go see that one watch?
I know of "Twisted (2004)" starring Ashley Judd, Samuel L. Jackson and Andy Garcia.

@cabali
Its on Monday we'll know the opening weekend figures.

@Mad Max
Nice posts but I feel it will look great in the Celebrities section.
But anyway, can u post Nicole Kidman without make-up?
Gold Watch - Lupe Fiasco (Nigga when would u release another album)
Abeg, help me beg both Lupe Fiasco and Dr. Dre to release their albums as soon as possible.

@eldee
The chorus of Eminem's "Not Afraid" reminded me of "Wavin' Flag".

@cabali
"The Dark Knight" had an opening weekend gross of $158.4 million in the U.S.

I know that "Iron Man 2" will make more than $100 million in its opening weekend, but I don't think it will be more than The Dark Knight's opening.

@cabali
"The Dark Knight" wasn't released in 3-D format and it still made more than $1 billion worldwide. I believe Iron Man 2 will still make a lot of dough if though its not released in 3-D.

spikedcylinder:
Obinna, this your movie taste sef.

Wetin I do now? Are they not wack?

lets review wack films like:

The Bounty Hunter (2010)
The Back-Up Plan (2010)
Furry Vengeance (2010)

Rocktation:
Figured out a new way to punish law breakers. Just set them up to watch DEAR JOHN.

LWKMD

jessefly:
imagine making a video to a single to a song dat came out last two tears,
only in nigeria do things like dat happen

You mean "years". Typographical error.
They look good together on screen, but off screen Genevieve Nnaji has nothing to do with D'Banj. She has even denied the guy sef.

eldee:
Nas & Damian Marley ft Joss Stone and Lil Wayne: My Generation

I wish this song didn't leak before the album release date . . . so effing sick, it coulda singlehandedly sold the album.
90s Hiphop + Post-Kanye Hiphop + Reggae + Soul = Heaven.

I've heard this song as well. I didn't like Damien Marley's verse.

Have you listened to Eminem's new song "Not Afraid"? Its cool. It somehow reminded me of K'Naan's "Wavin' Flag".

Hmm!! A secret trailer attached to Iron Man 2 which will be shown in theaters. Interesting.

@teeluv
The storyline for "Valentine's Day" was completely pointless. It wasn't even funny.

Just finished the back-up plan.  Bad bad bad.  I was bored and it wasn't funny.

You were warned but you didn't listen.  Also, stay away from "Furry Vengeance". The movie is WAAACCCKKK!!!

I'm predicting that Iron Man 2 will make more than $100 million in its opening weekend in the U.S.
It has already made a total of $121 million in other countries outside the U.S.
But I don't think it can beat Alice in Wonderland's $920 million worldwide. Lets just see sha.
