I get close to 900KB/s from SWIFT HOTSPOT (a wireless browsing center) located at various areas in Lagos and not from their broadband. Swift Hotspot is like a wireless cafe, you need to login to use it. The maximum one can get with their broadband is between 70 - 100 KB/s.

justkunmi:Chei! Boys are not smiling at all. "2012" had a good trailer but the movie sucked at the end of the day. MRbrownJAY: I felt the same way as well. |
Can u imagine? Roland Emmerich even has plans to do a Television series called "2013" which will serve as a sequel to "2012". |
"2012" storyline was weak alright but I won't say its a completely bad movie. If u want to see a bad movie, go and watch "Halloween II (2009)". I slept while watchng it. Strong performances from Chiwetel Ejiofor (who played Adrian Helmsley), Thandie Newton (who played Laura Wilson) and Oliver Platt (who played Carl Anheuser). Other characters were weak and stereotypical. |
Halloween II (2009) It was boring and plain stupid. ![]() |
I was disappointed after watching "2012". It wasn't what I expected it to be. The movie's sense of humor was a bit annoying as well. I have seen this movie twice and I still don't like it that much. But, the special effects were completely awesome. I'll give "2012" a 73% rating. |
[flash=425,344] https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=EgFGiZYyXxk[/flash] There was a part in dis review of "Avatar" where a guy said "I was just waiting for her (Neytiri) to sing 'Colours of the Wind'". ![]() |
selencious:"Avatar" has made more than $446 million dollars in the U.S. and $1.42 billion worldwide in recent statistics. |
@vescucci She's been watching too much "Avatar". Don't be surprised if she changes her complexion to blue. ![]() @topic I'll go for Steven Spielberg. But I still like Martin Scorese very much. |
I still like "Avatar" sha. What if Nigeria becomes "HOSTILE" in the near future?? (Nahh!! I don't think so) |
oaroloye:@oaroloye That statement in the Avatar movie wasn't meant to be anti-Nigerian. But the way Nigerians were depicted in "District 9" was just purely disrespectful and insulting. |
"Ije" will just be like every other wack Naija film I've seen. |

AVATAR |
Avatar was visually stunning. 'Avatar' has a better storyline than that of '2012'. avatar is JUST like Ferngully (one of my favorite Disney movies 4rm 1992)FernGully is not a Disney movie. It was released by 20th Century Fox. |
I saw "Avatar" at the Silverbird cinemas and I have to say its d most visually stunning movie of 2009. Although the storyline is somehow similar to "Dances With Wolves", but it was well executed. I can't wait to watch it on Blu-ray, it will be incredible. So, "Avatar" becomes the second highest selling movie worldwide of all-time ($1,162,361,307) with "Titanic" being the first at $1,842,879,955. I'll give the movie 86%. |
