@v3
The term used in the movie industry is "live action film adaptation"

NVIDIA GeForce graphic cards are the best.

"Percy Jackson & The Olympians: The Lightning Thief" was good. If you haven't seen it, please do so as soon as possible.
"Avatar" is also good but storyline is awkward.
"Valentine's Day" was

@v3
Yeah! I'm also praying that "The Last Airbender" won't be messed up like "Dragonball Evolution".

Oher (pronounced Or)

Olusesi looks like Gucci Mane.

@justkunmi
You suggested to review a movie you have not seen? I like it. _{The 'look before you leap' angle}

@jonesparke
James Cameron's Avatar is no way related to the cartoon TV series "Avatar: The Last Airbender".
The movie based on the cartoon will be called "The Last Airbender" and its directed by M. Night Shyamalan. It will be in theaters July 2nd 2010.

Hmm! I can't wait to see "The Book of Eli" as well.

Too many "Avatar" topics in the TV/Movies section.

"The Blind Side" tells the rag to fame true story of Baltimore Ravens (in the NFL) offensive lineman Michael Oher. Sandra Bullock plays the part of Leigh Anne Tuohy who accepts Oher into her family. Now, that is part I find quite extraordinary is how the Tuohys just accepted Oher as part of family.
Its a good movie and a surprise box office hit as well. Strong performance from Sandra Bullock.
I rate it 80%.

"You have very strong heart. No fear.
But stupid. Ignorant like a child." - Neytiri - Avatar (2009)

OK! "The Blind Side" for me.
But let there be more votes in favor of "The Blind Side".

spikedcylinder:
Did Silifabird ever show that Avatar in 3D?

Nope.

Na wa o! Its been long since we reviewed a movie.
Lets review:
Valentine's Day (2010)
Percy Jackson & The Olympians: The Lightning Thief (2010)
Terminator 2: Judgment Day (1991)

I can't wait for Silverbird cinemas to start showing "Shutter Island". I heard the movie has a twisted ending.

I recently saw "Valentine's Day" and "Percy Jackson & The Olympians: The Lightning Thief" at Silverbird cinemas.
First, "Valentine's Day" was an OK movie. Its not as bad as critics say it is. But it reminded me of movies like "Love Actually" and "He's Just Not Into You". Overall, I'll give it a rating of 69%.
"Percy Jackson & The Olympians: The Lightning Thief" was entertaining and a bit funny. I have a feeling I'm going to enjoy the Percy Jackson series than the Harry Potter series. I'll rate it 75%.

The British won "Best Actor" and "Best Actress" categories.
James Cameron should have won the Best Director category.

But you posted something similar here: https://www.nairaland.com/nigeria/topic-401752.0.html

"2012" storyline sucks. It had too many stereotype characters except for the performance by Chiwetel Ejiofor. "Avatar" storyline is somehow.
"Avatar" cannot be compared with any Nollywood film.

Nollywood is now doing good film posters. I hope the films are good as well.

@fabittisdiree
How you doing?

denzel2009:
Try watching it in 3D, I think its cool and different. You can't really appreciate the effects watching it on a mobile phone

And you can't appreciate a film by watching the pirated cinema dubbed version

@THE AMAKA
Its all in the name of doing fine movie poster. Becos poster fine no mean say film go fine.

I only know of Chris Brown. I have never heard of Christ Brown.

If the movie sucked, why did it make so much money in worldwide sales? Hype cannot be the only reason.

@eina
Asking for the best or a fast ISP in Nigeria is like asking what is the best antivirus to use.
If I mention some names now, someone will tell you those ones are not fast.
Do your research wisely.

Its a visual masterpiece and a visual stunner. 3D Glasses

Natural Born Killers (1994). The movie still sucks.

@ogagusps3
Hype is not the only thing that can make a movie earn more than $2 billion in worldwide sales.
The movie is a visual masterpiece. But the story is not that tight.

@N95-2 8GB
Na wa o! At 2KB/s you're downloading a file of 145MB  . I no fit wait for 17 hours. Sorry broz!!!

E be like say Hollywood movies are becoming silly. My prayer is that Hollywood does not turn to Nollywood.
