Hi Guys,

Sometimes in October, my portal was still open and editable, so I edited it and uploaded some more certificates, after some days my portal became closed and I cant log in any more as a result of the "Portal Close" stuff.

Yesterday evening, my i received a text from DPR to update my profile, I check this morning and discovered that my portal was open back, so I just confirm my attachment to be sure that there were still mine and after which I log out. I am EH, engineering.

Gentlemen and ladies, let's keep fingers across, only God and some very few people in DPR that knows those that will be called up for the interview, just keep praying.

To be honest, you guys talk too much and it's just laughable.

If you have an information that's unverified then state it as so. If not, it's usually best to keep your cool and simply read the comments.

At this point, the following assertions are true until proven wrong by invitation emails and texts.

1. Object moved: Qualified for interview
2. Portal closed: Qualified for interview.
3. Update profile: Qualified for interview.

No one anywhere has the right information except of course the folks handling the recruitment which is also subject to a change in process, needs, events and the "God factor" etc.

So can we have some quiet please and keep all speculations in your minds.

Confirm, dose dat recieve email/sms for profile update are the d successful merit people according to the information given to a friend of mine whose oga is a dpr big wings. For d portal closed issues, he doesnt knw abt dat.

I dont want to sound mean, but if your portal is closed you are out of the race tbh. because if you guys can recall during aptitude test many guys didnt recieve the invitation mail but learnt about their shortlisting from their profile. Likewise if you will be invited for interview i believe ur profile status will be your guide. Is just like somebody waiting for alert when he dont even have a bank account. But its just my opinion though

I didn't understand most of the things you typed. Anyway, this is not a time for argument. Meanwhile, read what I posted again. I said they should not use the test "ALONE", meaning the test plus other variables.

Holding other factors constant, as an Economist, I think I stand a good chance of doing very well in both the quantitative and verbal sections of the exam as you mentioned in your post. I know you will dispute this fact by telling me that it was used in shortlisting candidates for the test, yes, we always believe in status quo. Granted that exams are used to separate best candidates from others, it does not always depict a positive correlation with job performance. That is why most multinationals place high premium on experience, precisely for EHs. I Applied as EH with Msc, but I am still of the opinion that relying on exam results ALONE for selecting EHs in all the stages of recruitment process will be counter productive in the long run.

Clearly the overwhelming majority have had their portals closed/didn't receive any update alerts, at the recruitment stage where the majority are being weeded out to get those that qualify to be interviewed.

Nigerians would just make asumptions based on what they feel. If a site is hacked the first thing the hackers would do is to de-face the site , to show off that they are behinde the hack . Trust me those that recieve the sms and email are still the ones in the game. Those with objected moved problem are those using operamini to access the site, when the instruction says specifically to use a chorme or mozilla. Some people are already failing interview before it even starts. Are these the bunch of idiots DPR want to employ. NIGERIA IS A FAILED NATION. If this is the kind of mentality youths have. SMH for this country

Application portal that doesn't contain the position a specific candidate applied for, is that one a portal?

And it seems no one noticed this unusual difference.

If you got an invite and your portal is closed I don't know what that means.

Trust there are many inconsistencies in the process I agree.

This information came from people in PPPRA, NLNG and DPR but of course may be wrong.

For those who have uploaded their documents. Your documents has been processed. This is now closed.

The interview details are now being prepared for the successfuls dashboard. The login portal has been discontinued to avoid hitches.

For those who aren't sure of the documents they uploaded during registration, just click on the arrow pointing downwards in UPLOADED documents, the document you uploaded during registration will be downloaded automatically to your device. Whether u have 5 or 3, just click on it and you can download them.

In the instructions for GT, it clearly stated to upload NYSC certificate or exemption letter, university certificate and ssce cert ONLY, and just one university certificate. That makes it three documents not five; maybe that's for EH. So don't know what the confusion is all about. I have a masters degree, I applied for the GT position and used only my first degree to apply cos that was the instruction. But I included the masters on my CV because its RELEVANT to DPR.

And for those saying not to edit anything, I don't think they'll make room for edits and not expect any edits. It doesn't make sense. I removed one referee, and replaced with another. Don't see the big deal.

Remember that before the test was scheduled, the pages were on edit-mode. My advice: don't edit, wait for instructions from DPR, this might be a trap! If you still want to go on and edit, please do not forget to edit your personal details(including your full name); since it's editable. Lol!

If you are uploading new document their is high chance initially uploaded document will disappear,.if they dnt have a copy you have shot your self,.....allow them to release a statement first.........................

In the "Upload Document" Section on your profile, when you click on "Add", a popup appears that enumerates, in order, the various documents you are to upload. Viz, NYSC Discharge Cert, Institution Cert, SSCE, etc.

That is what I meant by my statement.

By the way, I don't think you can add another University as a GT.
