madridsta007: What are Buhari's actual Economic Policies?
Let's be honest: there are NONE.
That's why FDI flight has increased, that is why businesses are crashing, that is why investments is leaving Nigeria. Well, that's asides the Forex Policy which is pretty much anti-development.
Foriegn investors even local investors hate an atmosphere like uncertainty, inconsistency. That is Nigeria's main problem.
Obasanjo hinged his economic policy on privitisation. Ya'ardua went further to make his detailed— the 7 point agenda. GEJ worked on that and produced the Transformation agenda. There was a policy to look at, to follow. And they did this within 3-6 months of their first tenure. This is an imperative for developing countries.
What is Buhari's own? Nothing.
That is our MAIN problem. Come on guys, we should tell ourselves the truth. We don't die by doing so. And the truth u refuse to accept is that Nigeria presently is not as rich as it used to be due to loss in revenue. Ur gej b4 leaving office had bin fumbling (borrowing to pay salaries) even when the oil was higher than what it presently is. If there is anyone deceiving himself then I think it's u Ipob. |

madridsta007: Reno Ikechukwu Emeka Onokiri is an Igbo man.
I do not know what drives this Igbo hatred from you— from many Nigerians. Yet there's no single nation group that has invested in and developed states, region like them.
Help me, why are they hated? Igbo brought whatever hatred they get upon themselves with the lies and propaganda they preach jst because they refuse to get over the loss of an election. U don't hate others and expect love in return. I wonder what u call investment and development u are talking abt. Is it by having 2 by 2 shops everywhere u call investments? |

Ikechukwu48: Bayelsa is broke because their solely income is from oil. OIL REVENUE DROPPED so it is expected for their own income to drop as well.
Your ppl on the other hand claims Ogun is an industrial hub therefore just like Anambra that claims Nnewi is an industrial hub, when oil prices dropped it shouldn't have affected Ogun state AT ALL just like Anambra. Those industry if it truly exist income should have kept the state afloat. Why did it not?
Why is y'all stats not matching reality? Lol.. Is drop in oil suppose to affect Bayelsa directly. The last time I checked oil is bin controlled by the fg and not States... |

Ogun recorded 377 billion naira of investment yet the state treasury is EMPTY and the state is Struggling according to the governor.
So what happened to the 377 billionaire naira? Did it dance away?
The only people that believes yoruba lies are indeed yoruba Bayelsa as little as it is with huge allocation is broke. So why the maturation over ogun bin broke. So many states are broke even Nigeria is broke.. |

[s] Ikechukwu48: First of all, you should read my post. Oil industries was built by white and once already accredited them the income generated from it. The oil on the other hand comes from the tribes in the land. It is the same way I accredit whites with the mining industry in North but northerners own the minerals.
Anyway, I asked what are SOUTHWEST/YORUBA SOLE CONTRIBUTION.
I even mentioned on that first post that industrial including non yolobas are excluded as it is not a yoruba contribution. Seaport is not your contribution. If you guys use it more that SE and SS then I'll accredit as your contribution since you dont, the money is from none yoruba thus it's not your contribution.
Till now, NONE of you have yet to answer my question. The only closest thing I got was hardrock's data of minerals. Unfortunately for him, only registered companoes are included in that stat.
What are you peoples contribution to the FG account? I'll keep asking it until one of you answers it. I didn't ask for promise, I don't want will set to do. I want your contribution as we speak.
Cocoa and what else? [/s] U are indeed frustrated... |

Ikechukwu48: Is that supposed to be your contribution?
We asking what are Yoruba contribution and thi as one is providing IGR that counted lagos as part of SW and the income from lagos was generated from oil companies, seaport and other tribes companies residing there.
This is just shameful as the minutes goes by. Chen
Someone, anyone, biko
What are Yoruba contribution to FG account Guy u no well at all. U ask what does the southwest contribute to the Federation account and after bin presented with fact and data, u shift post again saying u are the one generating it for the sw. If u are very good at generating igr, why don't u go help ur landlocked region generate more igr. Just like oil is a natural resources so also is sea used for seaport. So if u claim seaport is built by fg, do u build the facilities used in the exploration of oil urself... Oga go and sleep. |

The block means you sell the right for oil company, majority own by whites to use it so No, I would not agree yoruba or hausa owns the oil. I would agree that whites contribute the most to the FG account from that side. U no well seriously..

You people never learn or Consult your history.
This is how Kwara ended up being ruled by Fulanis.
Any person with at least a functional brain that is capable of using a rudimentary farm tool ought to know that this is just another desperate attempt by Buhari to steal your land for his fulani herdsmen.
All across Nigeria (including the FCT), federal govt properties, road ways and even airports are now grazing reserves for fulani.
If you think one inch of rail will be constructed in the SW then you don't have one kobo sense in your head.
This move is in response to Fayose's anti grazing billl he signed last week.

"For Lagos State, more than 70% of the manufacturing concerns and major industries in the State are owned by the Igbos. If the Igbos were to stop paying tax in Lagos State, the IGR of Lagos State will reduce by over 60%. In contrast, Sir, go to the South East and look at the manufacturing concerns in Onitsha, Aba and Nnewi. Please don't forget those were areas ravaged by civil war a mere forty something years ago.
