I like Fayose for one thing!....he stands up to the standard!...especially in this era of shut down politics! As an initial Buhari supporter I'm angered that in many cases Buhari has not respected the rule of law!....and that to me has been his sin since the took over power, his other sin is the one sided corruption fight which will rubbish his image, this is probably one reason Aisha spoke out?....where is the corruption fight over the OWNER of LAGOS? OBJ, IBB, ATIKU...and the list goes on, especially now that we as Nigerians need the money!...FAYOSE talks rubbish all the time but he is the only one standing for democracy from the wrong angle!...someone somewhere might see him and say "Wait" we can do this and do it from the right angle.
I laugh when ppl say fayose stands for democracy. God forbid if fayose becomes the president then ur likes will know what they call impunity....

Handsomecole:
Fayose is doing all his best to gather public "sympathy". Fayose probably knows that the best way to control the mind of an average Nigerian is through "Religion", Tribe" and "Sentiments".

That he is using and it seems to be working out for him. He has succeded in controlling the minds of those Ekiti people, thus moving their minds from the major issues of "corruption" which he will surely answer to.

He has been a critic of Buhari to make it seem that Buahri has a personal issue with him. Which does not exist. Fayose is just too too "microscopic " and tiny for Buhari to have something against.

The only person Fayose is fighting is the "rule of law".
Only mumu ipobs go fall for all those obsolete tactics..

U all just decide to remain mumu. Just because Abang ruling favours sheriff and against ur favourite makarfi, then its APC. Forgetting that both are in PDP and the likes of fayose, wike and not any APC member brought sheriff.

Talking about ancient commercial cities, can you compare Lagos to Kano? Kano was even recorded by the whites to be a bustling pre-colonial commercial city. The Europeans met Kano as an international trading destination when they came to Nigeria.
Kano was a route for west africans travelling to Mecca for pilgrimages and people from northern parts of Africa, Arabs, Berbers, Sudanese and others came to Kano to trade, this is why Kano's slogan has always remained 'Centre of commerce', but you can see that Kano is still no match for Lagos because Lagos had a greater federal presence.
Kano almost has no federal presence at all. It was solely developed by trade and monthly allocation. Where you have Federal presence in the north is Kaduna and what you have in Kaduna is not up to half of Lagos but see how developed Kaduna is, now imagine Kaduna having as much development as Lagos and merging it with Kano, what do u think you will get?
Lol..keep living in self denial. Na ur type go come tomorrow come dey tell us how Niger delta oil is bin used to develop the north..

Abuja was not created to be a commercial zone or centre, it was created for Administration. If the FG wanted to commercialize the city, they know how to do it. Abuja is still a very young city, but it already has the second largest metropolitan population in Nigeria.
What abt ph? The issue is lagos has always bin a commercial city and no one can claim he built it to be a commercial city not even the govt. I have heard stories of those old grandpas and grandmas travelling to lagos by foot for various commercial activities. As a matter of fact lagos is a state and get state allocations just like every other states so what's stopping other places to develop like lagos if they want to.

Mr 'Sufferstication', your diversionary question should be directed to the Indians, Lebanese, Americans and Italians who left their different countries to exploit and subdue Lagos.

THE BEST INDUSTRIAL CLUSTER IN NIGERIA
"Nnewi people have already blaze the trail in the area of building the nation's economy through individual efforts, I have gone round to see the factories in the town and I can say with all sense of responsibilities that this is the best industrial cluster in Nigeria. People from other areas should come to Nnewi to learn how the industrialists here are doing it."

Fact is if u don't put ur back into it, u can be in Lagos for donkey years and still remain a pauper unless you're spoonfed. Let no one be under the illusion of any seeming magic outside of undue government and commercial patronage due to the status of former capital city.

The proper thing, if greed will allow some goats, is to start focusing on economic/regional integration so that there are recognised and viable commercial/industrial cities in each region to spread and fast track development as quickly as possible. This unitarian lifestyle of focusing development on only one place or state to the detriment of others us the reason Nigeria remains the way she is. Staggering, stuttering and never quite getting up!
Tell me a city where u sit comfortably in ur house and make money. Have u asked urself why abuja despite the focused development, has not attained the kind of commercial status of lagos. Lagos has bin a focal commercial hub of the country since time immemorial (it can only get better). Also why has ph not attain such level as lagos? The truth is gegraphically, lagos has bennefitted..

Your post reeks of ignorance, largely because you don't understand the scheme of things. Before anything, Tinubu is a Yoruba man whose people would stand by him regardless of political ideologies. Fayose hates the APC but was quick to defend Tinubu, despite the fact that Tinubu's party is in disarray. Perhaps you might not understand that the whole of Afenifere would stand behind Asiwaju against Northern supremacists. The obvious winner would be the West because whoever they align with stands. Aisha Buhari's outburst is solely because of this.

A compromised judiciary is enough to breach internal security and dss has the obligation to protect against any form of internal insecurity. As to the proof, I think the dss is in the best position to answer u.
