If u are done with 90cm ,u may proceed to 1.8m dish where u will have the power to track both ku and c band using the same technique u learn from 90cm.once u are good at 1.8m you are now going for your masters where u will develop your skills at handling bigger dish like 2.4m and above.at this level u will be proud to give helping hand to anybody who is in need of help and that make you a guru.Guru is the highest post as far as this thread is concern.now u know what it takes to be called upon as a Guru.It takes years to achieve that level.

Adelukman,get 90cm or 1m dish this will serve as your drawing board.get any old receiver preferably strong 4652x.any lnb and cable.mount your dish on a pole.make sure your line of sight to the dish is clear of any objects like buildings and trees.locate your east and west.where you have sun in the morning is your east and where you have sun in the evening is west.most of the satellites your are looking for are on orbit ranging from east to west.if you want to track with 90cm from your east ,u will be glad to nail the following satellites sirus 4.8e,eutelsat w3a 7e,eutelsat w3c 16,eutelsat w6 21.6e,badr 26e,astra 28e,newdawn 33e ,eutelsat w7 36e ,intesat 68.5 once you are able to nail green on the listed channels you are now a pro ,u can now move to your west to nail nss 7 22w.

aljazeera +1-10 are not free only 1 and 2.u can get 1 on arabsat 20 e its free but i wonder if you will be okay with what you will be viewing on that channel.Good luck and Happy hunting.

Pboy2busy u shld learn from the forum by reading through,fold you sleeves,grab the spanners and face either east or west.be up and doing before asking questions.learn from small dish before handling bigger dish by following the simple rules you will learn a lot.if u want to ask question dont start with pls ooo,doing that doesnt speak of you as truely a professioner in the making.

Trek4000 how far have you gone with your motorised.

Do some adjustment on your set up.if your dish is perfectly align u should hit 97-98% on sirus the w3a shld fall on the arc with good signal at least 88%.

12650 h 27500 is not among the tps

I hacked good to see you are monitoring the proceeding,for now on my 2.4m motorised nothing is popping up on that satellite.I wonder why aljazeera and other nice channels on nilesat are moving away from our reach.

IF jsc is gone then nile is useless

Pboy2busy,if u post multiple questions people might sideline you and you may not be too happy about it.yes u can track startime on w2a but all will be scrambled channel except if you have their card.

No special lnb it depends on how good and patient you are while skewing the lnb.skew at 7 or 8 o'clock and see if signal will pop up.use arryadiya tp.

It may sound odd but i think your right source of info shld be from,LTV,CHANNELS,AIT,HITV MYTV DSTV and CTL.here we deal with the technical aspect.

Pboy2busy,you need to familiarise yourself with lyngsat.if its too difficult for you to understand then try www.flysat.com click on sat list you will c all the channels satellites,beam map and transponders.About you dstv receiver you cant enjoy dstv's receiver for free to air they have limitations on what you can do,so buy strong receiver its your best bet.hope that answers your question.

Osef,make sure you have good dish and lnb.first track w7 36e,move up to astra 28e gradually advance to 26e.mark where you have badr26e and move straight to w3c 16e.mark 16e.now that u have badr 26e and w3c16e ,w6 21.6e shld fall between badr26e and w3c16e.happy hunting

W6 21.6 -w3c 16=5.6.it means you can even add astra 28 and dstv to your set up.its fun i guess.
