Good news about Badr,it contains aljazeera sport and abu dhabi sport.aljazeera will give you all matches except english premiership while abu dhabi gives english premiership alone but the bad news is you have to buy their card and decoder to enjoy it.yes joy sport do show some champions league, setanta on w3c is still free for now you can enjoy it but i havent watch any good matches on that channel except copa de ray. |

My brother i hacked, the highest level one can attained in satellite world can be divided into two parts of which are hardware and softward, the hardware entails the equipment design, construction, modifications and installations of satellites dish which i believe is why this forum's lunched while the software aspect is a little bit technical for a lay man who knows nothing about computers or how it operates and i believe it s regard to as off topic here you know what am saying, old members will understand what everyone is trying to arrive at in the long run,we dont need to question anybody.nairaland is a class we all visit here to learn one thing or the other.dont force or persuade anybody to drop any info here,he might be protecting some copy right of a thing and remember nobody is above the law reason why we must not deviate from the reason for creating this threads and remember this is internet.let us continue our inventions and discovery(ies)so as to enjoy fta. |
First track sirus 4.8 degree and later lower your dish by 1-3 inches there you are at 7e you will see the green light flashing. |
I hacked something similar to this your picture is available in the market ,HDD-(hard disk drive) in built but i dont wanna do advert for anybody here.most good receivers come with that for recording purposes and some have usb port for mass storage in lieu of the HDD but the question is how many programmes can we record on our televisions in a day .My ogas like Badaru and Olofofo have something similar. The question is how many time have you used your PVR on your satellite receivers to do some stunts? |
Brite02 if you cant still get it with your 90cm dish ,invert the dish such that the LNB arm will be on top,by doing that your dish will be able to hit green on 4 and 7 degrees but i still believe you are doing something wrong concerning your tracking technique,or something may be blocking your line of sight to the dish (trees, building or any object).what do you think? |
Spammer is at it again.beware of him.He is really a bug stop visiting that site in your own interest. That site is like a new exercise book nothing is writing either at the front page or the back page,so i wonder what the bomb is all about.a word is enough for , |
All i believe this is an open end forum but some people are try to make it a close one.making it close cant profit this forum in any form.if anybody have nothing to offer please let them stay off this forum .This is not money making forum. Post and let us reason all along.,this is a learning ground for all and nobody is all in all.if u have an invention that u keep to yourself u will be suprise when u see that what u are keeping is already obsolete.its better to be praised when the ovation is at its peak.just my advise. Those that want my mail,i think this forum is enough for us to discuss issues related to satellites but if its personal issues well i have no options other than to drop thee-mail:the3muskettiers@gmail.com.Thank u all. |
Gadator, the real satellite whizkid among us will know the power of this small machine but cant be liken to DM box though .All the same thumb up.The power lies inside the machine.Discussing the features will be against the rule here,I feel you brother. |
Its there Adedayo.it read eirp (db) and dish(cm).the page is green in colour when you open it.okay let me give u a straight link to that ,google"eirp and dish size of hotbird on lyngsat.or any satellite you intend to check.u will see the table there.in my own case i want to check hotbird,if u are checking for astra just reply hotbird with astra vise a vice. |
Why are you painting new dish? You have nothing to do with the caliberation part .just move the dish up something must be preventing it from moving further, find what is preventing further movement and find a way of over coming it.from my experience you cut the blockage off like 1 or 2 inches it should move freely, once you hit green just lock or tighten the bolt and nut that will prevent it from moving downward. |
see picture 1 and 2 below.Note without doing any modification you may turn picture 1 up side down if your dish can löok like that u will hit green on w3a 7 and sirus 4.that is another good method rather than doing adjustment.
|
Brit02,that dish is design for 16 degrees to 68.5 i think.I have similar one with me though dstv dish it cant even hit sirus 4 and eutelsat 7.You need a little modification at the neck (back of the dish). It could be that the arm of the dish is preventing the dish from moving upward where you fix the U bolt.Look at this picture it could be of help.Look at where i have my finger ,the bar that hold the lnb suppose to come out of that point ,if the U bolt is blocking the movement you wont be able to get higher elevation sat like sirus and w3a .your best bet is to use saw to chop it off a little bit such that free flow of movement is not prevented by the U bolt. |
Bugs,I hope it wont pepe me for eye oooo and i hope it wont deviate people away from this forum . |
you said the website is da bomb, hmmm to me it looks like tear gas ![]() |
LovePeddlers offer free sex to zambians fans for winning.what a way of celebrating a winning.we hope liverpool fans will do the same if they can win man u.this saturday. |
Etcwest the technique is simple which ever way you are receiving your signal from west, east south or north .make sure your dish is able to receive all the signal.now list all the satellites you want to combine ,move your dish gradually and locate where you found each satellite.make one satellite your reference and choose the next satellite to your reference point and try to gyrate your lnb.it will get to a point where it will hit green.note that this method is meant for wider(signal beam directly to your location) signal coverage.here in Nigeria most of the satellites combined can be easily tracked with less than 90cm dish. |
notice: skew the way you see my hand, doing that will give you hope and later you may fine tune the signal to your taste. Odilibe, thanks for throwing more light into c band reception. |
now look at where and how i place my hand ,the black lnb is where i hit green on w6 that is my reference point the white lnb on top is where i hit green on dstv/w7. The second picture is where i hit green on w3c 16e,you can see the w6 lnb and the w3c lnb.(note:make sure it faces the center of the dish and allow it to deviate towards you left hand side that will improve your signal strength and dont forget you are dealing with mpeg 4 signal here. The third picture is where i have sirus 4 ,in between w3c 16 degrees and sirus 4 satellite if you are very smart your w3a 7e should fall inbetween the two satellites. Now you can think of how to attach all the lnb together.I dont have time to do that now but i believe its simple ,just think . so far so good if you have a neat job you should have w7,astra 28/badr26,w6,w3c,w3a and sirus 4,I hit green on amos5 17e too but the lnb is too big for that slot it easily knock off w3c 16e.Good luck brothers and let the multi lnb party begin
|
For those who love to combine different LNBs on one dish to aim at different satellites this could be a guide,I just finish working on it and it worked.why not give it a trial. The pictures below is meant for any body who love to build a multi-lnb holder for w4/7,astra 28/badr26,eutelsat w6 21.6,w3c 16e,w3a 7e and sirus 4 all on one dish. first track w6 21.6(note:use a good lnb otherwise you will see the signal flashing but it wont turn green), on top of the w6 satellite locate eutelsat w4/7 by moving you hand straight up to your left when you face the dish ,there you have dstv, once you hit green place your astra lnb between the distance from dstv and w6,you should hit green also on astra 28 or badr 26 depending on which sat you prefer. immediately after the w6 just follow that white bar that's attached to your dish, from where you have w6 make sure your lnb is plum and closer to the white bar just slide/move your lnb downward gradually there you are ,you will see w3c 16e signal, still follow the white bar, move downward you will see sirus 4 in between w3c and sirus 4 locate your w3a and fine tune your signal to your taste on all the satellites. check all the pictures and see where i placed my hands there i found all the satellites. Now you can think of how to build holder to hold all the lnbs together and run all the wires to your disecq and enjoy it all in the comfort of you room I believe you can if i can.
