Ok ihacked i have the same problem here to i managed to hit green on nss7 because the dish is directly to 5m wall.am planning to move it to a clear ground away from any obstructions.

Skew here is 4 'o clock but if u still want to skew to 9 or 3 o clock u will still achieve the same result with slight different.To make crazy things happen we must go against so rules.,that is why i got it at 4'o clock.did u know b4 i motorised my 2.4m dish my lnb was skewed to 1'o clock to get hotbird and astra uk but after i motorised the dish the rules never work for me again.all we need is the signal skew to where your signal will be good for you.

williams85,you may not likely hit green on ab7 and atlanticbird 3 because the two satellites are so close to each other.You might need a special LNB to achieve this.why not try astra 28 and badr 26 if you can hit green on this two satellites you can use the same method on ab7 and ab3.just my little advice.

I first it green at 34%, after little adjustment it pops up to 42---49% and thereafter PHCN switched off.

For those that are interested in using their 90cm dish to receive c band signals.Dont panic ,its as simple as ABC I just finished setting NSS7 22W C band on my aged 90cm" F.S.T.V" dish .First find a means of modifying your C band LNB to fit into your ku band scalar(remember you have different methods to do this all you need is think,if you cant think you cant achieve).I used one simple method for all to see and i hit green.for my lnb holder i used clip and under the clip i made a flat bar bend it into letter "C" such that the upper curve of letter" C" can enter into the clip.while the bottom curve of the same letter C enters into the Long white rod where you have to bolt the lnb to the rod coming directly from the dish .After mounting your scalar on the dish the lnb will face the center of the dish .Now input your tp on your receiver and move your dish.In a little while you will hit green,without using conical scalar which i believe am still going to construct I still hit good signal.You too can do it.

This question may sound irritating but i think it makes some sense to some people heqe.How many HD signal do we get in this part of the world on 90cm dish,the highest we get is mpeg4.sometime we do waste money on unneccesary things.how many people can afford bigger dish where u get HD Signal from hotbird,astra 2a,ab7,nile201 and co.if u cant receive the listed satellites where u can enjoy full HD and 3D pls just go for mpeg4.

brit02,i mean on EPL we shouldnt expect much .it could be like the 2m on nilesat.then the 2m on w6 do show EPL but the 2m on nilesat wouldnt show anything related to EPL.if ab7 can show epl that will be a plus.

Dont expect too much from arryadia on ab7

U need to comfirm they are showing it b4 posting remember years back when showsport had the right to show epl ,2m too was showing some wkend matches unfortunately the 2m on w6 showed matches while the 2m on nilesat wouldnt show any matches.let us cross our fingers and stay on arryadia on atlanticbird 7.

On my motorised 2.4m i think i lost 2-3% based on your report on hotbird.I will work more when time permit.

For those having problem with arryadia on w6 ,watch out may be the station may beam epl to atlanticbird 7 NWA beam tomorrow.I will monitor the channels and feed the house.

Ibaku my brother.All the signals are misbehaving .my jsc failed to come up on hotbird.I manage to hook up to nilesat jsc+1-+5.

Nice post Kungu.I hit green on that frequency.I guess they were those channels on w6.We need better channels on NWA beam.The likes of mbcs,jsc and co.

My brother u cant be wrong with your decoder/receiver if u follow the rule.Take time to read what sammu posted few days back on how to upgrade.why do u wanna upgrade your receiver,remember no pain no gain

Patient is the key word dont track in hurry u might end up not getting any fruitful .be cool,calm and connected to the sat.you will hit green in a little while.track when the sky is clear,cloudy weather will not give u what u want.dont time your self while tracking u might end up using the whole day working and sweating under the tropical sun at the end u get no or bad signal.that kind of piss u off right?remember no pain no gain.That is one thing u most learn from the university of hardknock .a.k.a nairaland
