Reason why i said we are learning here.can we see your signal gain befor and after painting?

Why do we have signal. Loss during the day around 11 am to 5 pm and why do we gain signal from8pm till yhe following morning on fringe reception signal like nilesat hotbird astra and co.using pan dishes? Effects. Of temperature changes on lnb performance( thermodynamics) i think.what is your view?

Ikefra,we are learning. Here day by day i dont think. We need a reflective paint to pick tvro signals i think all we need is the parabolic surface of the dish.painting is to prevent rusting and to beautify the dish.using reflective paint and gloss paint will. Make the dish. Surface. Highly reflective and during Sunny day you will just see that your lnb will burn off due to high convergence sun rays to the focal point on your dish.reflective surface is good for solar cooker.

Auch good job there.dont forget to paint the back to prevent rusting.i think mattee. Paint. Too is good.any non reflective. Paint will do the job.dont use metallic paint or gloss.any colour u choose is good its not necessarily. White. Black paint is good too but for people. In the temperate region.since black absorb heat it can easily melt off any ice or snow deposite on the dish.u may choose the colour to match your building or your landscape so that the big ugly dish wouldnt be an eyes sore.

Adex70,my nilesat signal on motorised dish is better now at 62% on 2.4m dish before it's 48-50%. You too can work more on your signal strengh
Get the focal point right u should have a better signal

This is my Locally fabricated multi lnb holder showing 5 in 1 set up.It has the ability to move left or right,up and down ,back and forth and side ways .I will call it universal satellites lnb holder.Presently is aligned to w4/7,astra 28e,w6 21.6,w3c 16e and sirus 4.8 and it can work in any part of Africa.on 50-100cm dish.Note the bigger the better your signal but presently I get up to 73,55 and 60% on most satellites .you too can give it a trial.just think and fabricate .dont wait for anybody to do it for you.If i can yes you too can.

you need an expert to work on your lnb for you to get those stations listed.and the type of lnb you are using matters too.where are you located in ogun state?

jAYBOSKI7,if you love football at affordable price you need big dish .Badr 26e is your best bet .you get aljazeera sport(any sport you can think of) and abudhabi sport (epl).also you can add movis mbc action and co.

I think you should start from elementary dish tracking before you advance to networking.you sont really sound like a newbie.

pidzo i will be much grateful if you can just give us the list of satellites receivable in your region.we should be able to get the list of satellite across Africa .and if possible dish size.

infosat,try and track AB7 without the w3a and sirus ,with your 2 in 1 set up it may give you headache .sirus and w3a are in the east while ab7 is at west.if you are very smart enough you can pull in ab7, w3a and sirus into one dish(nothing is impossible).

My brother Mwarawaa thanks a million for the update.For NWA beam to have covered the whole of west africa ,i think they have a better plan for us since jsc is on our beam now lets us pray some other channels pop up.

Kungu this mail is for you and all our brothers from east africa .Please can you track AB7 NWA beam in your area ?,if yes then what is the minimum dish size ,80cm or 90 cm .I want us to compare the signal strength with what you are getting on MENA.I guess we are missing a lot here if only mbcs can come to NWA beam we shall all have course to smile.

hitting green on ab7 shouldnt be headache at all.use technique for tracking nilesat to nail ab7,first track nss7 22 ku band and move your dish up and down to your left (you standing at the back of the dish)or going right(you standing at the front of the dish )use 2m tp to track it.its very simple.That is the simplest method to track that bird note its not located at w3a as earlier on said by a fellow.w3a is eastern satellite while AB7 Is western satellite.Do it yourself is the spirit.,you learn a lot by doing it yourself.remember no pain no gain.

Good.okay do blink scan to see if the new tp will pop up.if it fail to pop up check www.flysat.com.go through it and see if you will get the jsc tp on ab7.if you cant get read through the prdvious post you might ne lucky.will be waiting for uour result.
