I have some few questions for you sir: 1. Who instigated the violence that erupted in those two states? Was it a post election violence? 2. Are killings taking place in the country under this regime or not? 3. How many times have you personally addressed the killings in strong terms as you're doing now sir? 4. How many persons have been arrested in connection with the killings and how many have been handled judicially? |
Yankee101:This Goodluck tried to do for them but them say no. Them no want am. Now they're going back to his programmes |
A place as bushy as this with no single buildings around, is filled with computers? What about their security? This one na arrangee school? In less than 2/3 months time those computers will varnish without a trace. |
Skynet45:But don't you think what Muric oga is doing will polarise the Yoruba nation the more? Because he's not fighting for Yoruba rights but Yoruba Muslims right in particular and Nigerian Muslims in general. What do you think? |
leokid866:What we're saying is that whoever is in charge in Lagos is a puppet. Look at how he handled Ambode matter. He refused to allow Ambode to go for a second term. Is that the way it is supposed to be? He decides who takes what and who does not. It is not fair. Now the Lagos east bye-election coming up, he has drafted Tokumbo from Polaris bank as if there are no people in the party. Now he'll have to force him down the throat of everyone. My uncle and many others are not happy with him with the way he's handling Lagos affairs. Very soon there will be revolt within the party and he'll be shocked. |
leokid866:What we're saying is he don try nau. Na since 1999 he dey in charge o. Na only him dey? Let others come on board and continue from where he'll stop. |
This was your first post which i replied that none of these states are in bondage. I also told you that no stranger is managing the affairs of these states like Lagos who is under the grip of one man ( a stranger) whereas the bonafide indigene are there. oyatz: oyatz:And now you asked how old I am. Well if you must know, i worked with Johnny Industries by Total Filling station Ikorodu road at Ojota in Lagos as their store keeper back in 1993 - 1996 b4 i gained admission into the University of Benin in 1997 to study engineering. After my graduation, i returned and later became their general manager before i left to set up my private outfit. As a Network engineer, i travel a lot. I've been to every state in Nigeria. So i know exactly what am saying. Now am in Delta state, and those things you mentioned about those states are totally false. Who told you Delta state for example is in bondage? Or any of the states you mentioned for that matter? I can tell you authoritatively that Delta is free from the shackles of one man dictating what happens unlike Lagos where a total stranger lord it over everyone including the indigenes. By the way how old are you and where do you reside to make such a zany statement? |
leokid866:He was. Then why are you against Otedola? The reason we're having this disagreement is because you're against the candidature of Otedola. Nothing more. |
leokid866:Think carefully of what i just told you about Otedola. mo ti sọ fun ọ o jẹ oṣiṣẹ afiyesi o ti pegede si oye lati di gomina |
leokid866:Before you can be a King in Nigeria, you must be a male descendant before you can ascend the to the throne. Otedola's parents are Lagosians. Otedola is of patrilineal descent, a male child of Lagos state. He is a male descendant. But Tinubu is not. He is more qualified to rule and be in control of Lagos than 1,000 Tinubus. To illustrate: As you are now, will you allow your sister's sons to rule you and have control over your father's properties and inheritance even if your wife is from Canada? |
Godfatherism is applied upside down in Nigeria's political landscape. And it has eaten deep into the various aspects of our lives. And unless what happened in Edo is replicated across country, we're going no where. This was what Rawlings singlehandedly did in Ghana and you can see the results. Ghana is a pacesetter in almost all indices. Wow FTC!! What's my reward? |
leokid866:Yet his father was a governor of Lagos state. Tinubu is from Osun state. Let him go control his state. |
tollyboy5:Hahahaha. They keep coming with flimsy excuses. One thing is clear. Tinubu time is up. |
Rugaria:Let them rant. This is a movement and it must be achieved by any legal and genuine means possible. Slowly slowly, he's losing the power grip at the centre. They're tired of him. He must be retired to his home state Osun. |
Ayed44:No mind them. We will keep screaming until Lagosians realise that one individual who is not even from the state us sapping the state dry. He should be rejected together with his candidates. Then and only then we can say Lagos is truly free. |
#Tinubu no own Lagos!! |
oyatz:Abia, Bayelsa, Delta and Enugu aren't in bondage. Let me prove it to you. Orji Uzor Kalu who was the then governor of Abia state is now in APC. Timipre Sylva who was the governor in Bayelsa is also in APC. Emmanuel Uduaghan who was the governor of Delta state is now in APC. Ken Nnamani who was the senate president and his brother the then governor of Enugu state are both in APC They all know that these states are free. This is different from Tinubu who is from another state (Osun) but has claimed Lagos and cornered it to his own. This is totally unacceptable. The narratives have to change this time. |
ShinnBet:We often cry to high heavens when we hear that some foreign bandits are grabbing lands from indigenous people up North.. Now someone who is from Osun had seized the whole of Lagos state and cornered everything to himself and family. My question now is how is he different from those land grabbers? He must be booted out of Lagos back to his home state Osun. It is a collective task we must achieve. Yes we can! #Tinubu no be Lagos |
jericco1:After the small break due to the election, contractors are back to site in my area. |
SilverNorGold:Jonathan did better than this during Oshiomhole's reelection in 2012. Hear Oshiomhole: Gov. Adams Oshiomhole of Edo on Sunday described President Goodluck Jonahan as a statesman and a man of honour. Oshiomhole, who made the statement at a world press conference in Benin, attributed the peaceful conduct of the governorship election in Edo on Saturday to Jonathan’s determination to enthrone credible democracy in Nigeria. “ I want to appreciate Mr President with his resolve and public pronouncement that he would provide adequate security for the people and the INEC staff before, during and after the election. “I am glad that Mr President kept to his words of assurance that there would be no thuggery, hooliganism and violence during the Edo Governorship Election. He said that the president had led by example, which is the hall mark of a statesman. “He is indeed a statesman, a man of honour because there was adequate and effective presence of security agents on ground. “I am impressed because the army actually played a neutral role .in the election,’’ he said. http://pointblanknews.com/pbn/exclusive/oshiomhole-to-jonathan-you-are-a-statesman-a-man-of-honor-dedicates-victory-to-edo-people/ There was no single gunshot, no thuggery, no ballot snatching and so on. But last Saturday in Edo, there were gunshots, where one person died and several others were wounded. Ballot boxes were snatched. I agree that under Buhari, this is the only election that has a measure of credibility. But van this be said about the 2019 general election? How about the Kogi, Kano, Osun, Plateau. I was in all those states i mentioned except Plateau state. What happened in Osun was terrible. I was in Ede where the daylight robbery took place. Finally,if what you said that he's not interested in this and that is true, let him resign from being the Petroleum Minister, a portfolio he promised to head for only 18months (1 year and 6 months) but he has been there since 64 months (5 years 4 months) now with no positive impact. Rather what we have seen is astronomical increments (more than twice now) in prices of Petroleum products. So if truly he is a man of integrity, he would have quit the office to fulfill his promise. https://www.pulse.ng/news/local/buhari-why-president-will-head-petroleum-ministry-for-18-months/s6knpev.amp

PS712:What do you expect? Can one give what he doesn't have? He's ordering the reduction in prices of goods. Let him continue and we'll see where it will take him. |
A government that likes ordering people around. There is what we call micro economics and the forces of demand and supply. I have never seen anywhere in the universe where a President determines the prices of commodities like fertiliser. And we still see some people referring to him as "darling daddy", "sai barber", "Mr integrity" etc. To now think that some of these persons are graduates still baffles me. |
sodiqapril:This shows that their end is near. They cannot become world power because the Anglo/American world power is the last world power. No country can dethrone them. Not even China. |
My response to that guy/girl hiding behind his/her keyboard is found below. Till now he is yet to reply me. Nyanabo:Those of us who were old enough to witness your "darling daddy's" regime in 1984/85 knows what we're up against. And if your analysis is anything to go by, fuel subsidy has been removed since 2016: This was the link where this government said fuel subsidy has been removed back in May 2016. https://dailypost.ng/2016/05/13/why-buhari-removed-fuel-subsidy-osinbajo/ Do you agree? If you agree and every sane Nigerian also agree too, how much have been saved so far since 2016? This same government provides the answer. https://m.guardian.ng/news/fuel-subsidy-removal-nigeria-saves-n15-4-billion-monthly-says-osinbajo/ 15.4 billion naira saved monthly. Now 15.4 billion naira times 4 years i.e 48 months, this is equal to #739,200,000,000 i.e 739 billion, 200 million naira. Recovered loot by this government since 2015 https://qz.com/africa/700036/nigeria-says-its-recovered-9-1-billion-in-looted-funds-but-wont-name-the-culprits/ I.e 9.1 billion dollars times 420 naira = $9.1×#420= #3,822,000,000,000 i.e 3 trillion, 822 billion naira. Abacha loot returned under Buhari since 2015: https://allafrica.com/stories/202002160175.html 308 million dollars plus 322 million dollars $308,000,000 + $322,000,000 = $630,000,000 × #420 = #264,600,000,000,000 I.e 264 trillion, 600 billion naira. GRAND TOTAL #739,200,000,000 + #3,822,000,000,000 + #264,600,000,000,000 = #269,161,200,000,000 269 trillion, 161 billion, 200 million naira Did you see the number of zeros? And yet we keep making money everyday from oil and other commodities. So the question is where has this money gone. His five year budget is not more than 50 trillion. Then where is the balance of over 200 trillion naira? Yet we keep borrowing even to fund our annual budget. There is no need to even to go into foreign loans that have been borrowed by this administration. So kindly stop all these conjectures and surmises. Propaganda will surely take you nowhere. |
anigbajumo:Exactly. |

chukel:Are you minding that one who will not make a single comment without making reference to "children of hate" and "children of perdition" when in actual sense his description fits himself. If one keeps supporting a government that is suppressive and authoritative, then that person is the real enemy of the state. Those of us who were of age back in 1984 know better. |
jornwhite:You're absolutely correct. All hypotheses, theorems and applications defy working in this geographical location called Nigeria not because they cannot work but because there are people who fight tooth and nail to ensure they don't work. These bottle necks are everywhere here. |
abramelin11:This was the link where this government said fuel subsidy has been removed back in May 2016. https://dailypost.ng/2016/05/13/why-buhari-removed-fuel-subsidy-osinbajo/ Then in December 2016 this government told us that they saved #15.4bn monthly from subsidy removal. https://m.guardian.ng/news/fuel-subsidy-removal-nigeria-saves-n15-4-billion-monthly-says-osinbajo/ Now where are all these Moines saved over the years (15.4 billion naira × 48 months?) Here we are in 2020, four years later and they're again removing another subsidy or what? How many times will they remove subsidy? Why the increment in petroleum pump price? Those of us who were old enough in 1984 aren't surprised at all. More of these dramas ahead. |
we are the most accommodating ethnic group in Nigeria, but the flat head and ndi developers are spoiling our land
