That's good of you jare, that's love and it starts from the family. My mum doesn't fail to remind me and my siblings that we are one and we should always learn to be there for each other and be supportive and now we love each other so much that when she scolds one of us unjustly (you know mothers sometimes now, lol) all of us will support that victim oooooo, we wouldn't support her when it comes to that. I think it starts from our parents, I have a friend who told us in school that if his mum is sick and she didn't tell their dad in plain words that honey/Daddy(whichever is their case lol), I think I am feeling sick then she(their mum) is on her own, he (their dad) wouldn't say sorry to her but he would provide money and send one of the kids to get drugs and every other necessary things for their mum to feel better but he wouldn't say sorry cos she didn't tell him and I was like ehn ehn and then this friend of mine and his elder brother said they intend to practice such with their future wives because they believe in their dad's principles. But I told my friend they are preparing for failed marriages because their mum took it in good faith does not mean young ladies of this age and time will take such a theory. Lol. You can't blame the girl too, she's a gentle girl, you know some people are too gentle to a fault. And as for I don't because of benefits hide the truth. If you won't help me because I am telling you the truth then get the hell of. That's my policy, I watch some people hide under the umbrella of I don't want issues with anybody and then they see a wrong thing and then keep quiet but me I will politely tell you that you're wrong. but you know if you bring issues like that to nairaland some nairalanders will still support him. Sometimes when I read comments of some nairalanders I begin to wonder where it went wrong with them but you know it's a free world and we are all entitled to our opinions. To start with why would you slap and beat up your younger sister in a public place for crying out loud I told him that day if I was the sister, I wouldn't take such from him, such a man will do worse to his wife in public. Lol....... No be only you ooooo but if you talk some judgemental guys on nairaland will be quick to label you names that are not yours. Some guys are just too traditional for my liking. I had a Course mate and we were also project mates cos we had the same supervisor then has a girlfriend that calls him BT(she calls him that because the B stands for brother and the T stands for the first letter in his name), she had to improvise this name because a lot of people were telling her it's odd to be calling your bf ''brother'' in a university and to top it all something he even enforced on her and then when he gives her something or when she wants to give him something, she must kneel with her two legs to carry out any of the actions , that thing dey always pain me because the girl too gentle and I felt he was just taking advantage of her but na the guy be my friend (he once asked me out and since we were under the same supervisor our paths crossed more often so we became friends). I was always scolding him to stop the rubbish but the guy no dey gree oooo instead when I correct him he tells me he does that to his own sister too that he had once slapped his younger sister on a busy street in Lagos and all that and me no too dey like to dwell too much on person matter especially personal matter, I always looked at him and observed, it got so bad that he would call the girl while he is in class and would be asking the girl where she was, if the lady says she is in the hostel but outside, he would shout at her and order her to go inside, all this things dey always pepper me for body cos I am always like WTF, really? When no be say you don pay her bride price and she don turn wife but you know you have to know your limits and know when to draw the line, I always act like I am not conscious of my environment. The day I lambasted him was the day he came to complain to me about his girlfriend's younger sister saying she was rude to him then I gently asked T what her offence was and then he said she calls him by name and doesn't call him brother T, I was dumbfounded and I decided he needed someone to talk some sense into him, I was like who the hell do you think you are because your papa get money so what? and the girl in question isn't from a poor home pop. I lambasted him ehn to the extent that he didn't greet me the next day when we met at our supervisor's office, me sef no greet am I just dey look am(me sef stubborn small) but he later came around sha. Then the girl grew up, she dumped his sorry ass because she and her younger sister had to go join their parents abroad because the parents live there. I think he tried talking her out of going and the girl disagreed ( can you imagine that? so she should agree and disobey her parents?) and we went to print our write ups one day and then he said Kate can you believe she left me and travelled out? do you think she will be faithful? I just kept quiet and was just looking at him like mumu, I didn't even say a word because there was just nothing I had to say to him and I focused on the printing. If he can be that arrogant and stupid at this time of his life then there was nothing to say.
