A delegation from Benin and Togo, led by the Beninois Minister of Energy,
Bathelemy D. Kassa, has met with the
Minister of Energy and Petroleum,
Emmanuel Armah-Kofi Buah, to discuss
and explore a possible opportunity for
increased power supply to Togo And
Benin
.

news: At crunch meeting held at the Ministry
Energy and Petroleum March 1, 2013
and attended by the Chief Executive
Officer (CEO) of the Volta River
Authority (VRA), Mr. Kweku Awotwi,
the Managing Director of Ghana Grid
Company (GRIDCo), Mr. Charles Darku, and other officials of the Ministry of Energy and the two Power companies, the delegation lamented the precarious power situation in their countries and asked for Ghana’s assistance to remedythe situation.
According to Mr. Bathelemy Kassa, the
current power supply arrangement of
50MW on week days (off peak) and
weekends as well as 35MW during peak periods on weekdays was no longer adequate for their countries’ needs.
He therefore asked the Minister to
consider increasing the supply to curtail their predicament.

iv4fb: realistically, this Ghanaians quoting negative figures, do they realize that the positive exceeds theirs like 10 times?
Most of You nigerians feel like the world revolves around you. Is there a blueprint that says compare Ghana to Nigeria whenever you see us? Why
do some of you insist on denigrating Ghanaians to feel validated?
choose another country and compete with them. We don’t give a rats ass about you!!!.

Kingmojo: Those are the things people complain about when they watch nollywood movies. The accent is terrible and because of the generator the actors and actresses are always screaming.
A fact which @Onila/@Onila-is-cool will never Post.

I would choose boredom to watching one Nollywood movie which will have a negative influence on my accent and grammar as well, I also cannot deal with the generator sound in the Background.

Goodnight charlie
Why don't you hold your breath until NEPA/PHCN provide non stop power? Come to think of it, it's probably why Nigerians are popping out babies like vermins: when there is no electricity, there's nothing to do, and so you people
just get down to f3rking.

The Vision of PHCN/NEPA is to supply Nigerians with uninterrupted power supply for 8hours in a month .......

Adamskuty: she has been living in ghana all her life and still work in nigeria at the sametime?? grin daaaaaaamn, nigga u so dumb! shocked btw,how many job opportunities can one find in ghana, giving the fact that there's only one town (not city) there, called accra grin

see, majority of ghanaians dont care about working or finding a job, they just wanna be in lasgidi,to them that's an achievement and they brag about that to their friends back home grin
Nigerian cities are just sprawling slums and a few modern-looking office building in the center, with some mansions here and there for the corrupt civil servants.
Ghana is aspiring to improve, to be the likes of America and European countries, certainly not to be a tribal, superstitious bush-dwelling, tasteless,
and extremely mediocre society that is nigeria. You are obviously inhaling generator fumes.

About 40 foreigners have been rounded up by the Ghana Immigration Service (GIS) in a swoop on the dawn of Sunday at T-Club at La in Accra.
Eyewitnesses say the club which no
longer operating is residence to many
foreigners, mostly Nigerian women who work as prostitutes
.
Narrating the incident to Citi News, an
eyewitness Emmanuel Ashie stated that
“around 5:50am, the security men
surrounded the area, gave some warning shots and started bringing everybody out.” According to him, the arrested persons were conveyed in a bus to the headquarters of the GIS.

Onila-is-cool:
we also stand out in Ghana
its not turned to hate its only dumb, ignorant Nigerians that hate Ghana
What is your definition of standing out? cos to me its relative, but I see you as a cool headed person, I hate it when I have to Banter with progressive people like you. But I have been to Nairaland for so long to know that many anti-Ghana comments are borne out of Hate.

Adamskuty: ,dont get so over
excited because a nigerian is in ur land.
Ghanaians on the other hand come to
nigeria in their million just to see lagos
third mainland bridge, many of y'all are
here,especially in the southwest and
south..south!
I applaud the move by the
Lagos state government to limit the number of undesirable people in the
better parts of Lagos. My friend who is both Ghanaian and Nigerian but has been living in Accra all her life resigned from her work in Lagos because it was a rude shock to her civilised sensibilities.
Nairaland GeneralRe: Nigerian Random Facts! you didn't know by Obrafour(m): 10:14pm On Oct 17, 2013
Adamskuty: Dont feel so excited because they are more nigerians in ghana than ghanaians in nigeria,it's a common thing for a country with a very large population.. [s]Btw! Majority of them are igbo business men which are the most traveled africans on earth![/s] grin but if we are to look at the percentage ratio, that of ghana is definatly higher... FACT! grin

and one last thing you a hypocrite,u were see quick to quote onila's post and labeling it as lies... U feeling so insecure, dude
I quoted Onila because Ít was related to Ghana. No Ghanaian will leave Ghana and settle for Boko Haram/ Ombatse Cult/ Niger Delta thugs And please, I don't engage in tribal bigotry.
Nairaland GeneralRe: Nigerian Random Facts! you didn't know by Obrafour(m): 9:32pm On Oct 17, 2013
Adamskuty: where's the source to prove that those acts are being done by nigerianshuh We all know that a ghanaian pull the greatest scam in history, dont we? grin so it shouldn't be a surprise if ur country is number fraud nation in africa, stop blaming us,afterall y'all are doing illegal things here as well!

Lool/ spreading virus where ever you go,hmm! But i dont think u were invited to this forum nor was this topic related to ghana before u opened the thread due to ur obsession grin

it's better we demand more from our government instead of sitting like a baby doing nothing like ghana, because of ASUU,our universities will keep on getting better and better cheesy
Don't take it personally, stranger. I'm sure individually you're all right as a
person. But I'm very proud of my Ghanaian identity, and it offends me to associate that identity with Nigerians,
who have such a terrible reputation in Africa and around the world.
Nigerians come to Ghana because our
standards are way better than that

Adamskuty: crap! The average ghanaian is into scamming, dude! Not the other way round,u high on alomo bitters? You guys top the list of number one scamming nation in africa, [s]i guess u dont know that, the quality of ur education is crap! grin chilex, only one ghanain university is ranked among the top ...40 in africa.. Nigeria got 4,2 of those in 8th and 21st position respectively, university of ghana is 26 grin dont compare our unis with urs, there's a clear difference[/s]...
Don't get me wrong, I am not rejoicing for the mass migration of nigerian students into Ghana who are not certain of the next ASUU strike and also wanting to have a quality education. Your activities in Ghana are a rude shock to our civilised sensibilities.
After you guys were banned for scamming, you trooped into Ghana and used our IPS for your dishonest living, You guys are just spreading virus everywhere you go.
