Yeah same with me(vfs lagos).it was sent to Accra too.

I am based in abuja, so i submitted in the VFS abuja office at silverbird.
1) The payment for the COPR was N17,990 or so, and N500 for SMS, so total i paid was N18,340.
2) My PPR mail didnt state any location too. i wasnt kuku bothered, i just printed the mail and gave them like that. I'm assuming all intl passports are shipped to Accra Office.
3) I didnt pay any transmission fees to lagos VFS.(maybe they internally transfer it to lagos on its way to accra included in the above cost).But there was nothing like transmission mentioned sef yday. They didnt even ask anything relating to acrra.
As soon as i left, i got 2 mails about my tracking number and a text msg.

Dont panic,It seems all those who got PPR on the 18th of dec , were from OttawaVO and they didnt put location as per Accra. Las las just go to lagos VFS (if in lagos) and pay your N18,340 (PS: ensure you have change, cos i heard they never have change to give you).

If I remember well ,it's at the point of submitting the application after ITA. I think the personal activity or so column where you ain't mearnt to leave any gap in time
..

I really don't know the implication but what I have read here is that filing NYSC as government might draw unnecessary attention to probing your application and thereby delay it completion...

You have to consider the long run benefits without still discarding the short term benefits.

I understand that your hubby earns very well... any may be skeptical leaving... But don't you consider the long run benefits, stability and many other factors.

Well, at the end of the day people relocate for different reasons. Its your choice to make. But choose wisely!

Above all, please remember that this relocation window may not be open forever.

I heard about stories of Nigeria in the 80s, when people were very skeptical about relocating to the UK because Naija was way better. Those that went there back then are seemingly better than many others that remained here in Naija. Now those people thst didnt go back then, if given an opportunity to go again would jump at it with open arms... But we all know that the opportunity for easy mobility there is very much restricted

Naija is full of uncertainty... Nobody knows what may happen tomorrow.

So calculate your decisions well.

Thanking God for a smooth one.Our prayer as a family has been God should make it really difficult or not even granted if it not his will for us to move.but alas......here it is

It's a really difficult decision for us to leave all behind here though but hmm ,we still seek daily reason why we should and God is showing us.

To God be the glory we are quite very comfortable here,hubby earns quite well..( over #1m monthly,I know is change to some other people oo,just quoting figured so you know why we are skeptical) and my business ain't doing badly as I voluntarily resigned from my well paying(about 400k monthly)banking job in 2016 after spending about 10yrs.

The major reason for  considering us leaving is majorly kids secured future,and hubbys health

Ielts was okay for us,though hubby had a short fall of 0.5 in listening so had to rewrite his this year and came out well.
.

POF:submitted general bank reference letter,6months time deposit fixed only 1mthns before submission,those were for proof of funds but we just still included a month statement of another account with reasonable balance and also statement of his salary account just to show inflow of his salary .

Medical at IOM:Hubby is diabetic with daily insulin injections,he declared this at the hospital and the doctor advised they do a little further test so we won't be requested to do additional test after submitting.we did and we happy the hospital was proactive enough as our medical came back as passed without any further request.

Mistake we think we made:Hubby and I referenced NYSC as government,so wheb we started seeing here that we shouldn't have,we were like you see us,and said now reason for A DR has come alas,no ADR
...
In all we thank God for this and prays he keeps guiding all our steps accordingly.

Currently at studio 24.

P.S..please I really love reading peoples different reasons for relocating.It's different for everyone but it can help point one in the right direction too.we need as many reasons as possible..as God is unfolding this daily to us.

WE received email this morning for passport and all instruction(CPCO) but my "otondo" self is thinking shouldn't there be an update on the application platform,as it it's still showing we are reviewing your eligibility,background check in progress etc.
.
Also no specific instruction on visa office to submit to.

Please is this ppr always only through email..
