FamilyRe: He Is Not Attractive. What Can I Do? by obybabe(f): 1:35pm On Apr 16, 2009
yeeeeeee i have read many ideas, suggestions and advices from this forum, all have tried according to their own understanding and experiences.

I will add to it by telling you that you should go on your knees and pray to God to reveal to you if that man you called ugle man is your husband which i think may be but you have not realised that rather you are still looking at the attraction aspect of it.  There is an adage that says "man no dee fine".

You said men had really disappointed you and now you are desperate because of age in quote upon that you are still looking and waiting carnally without praying for the right person that will love and take care of you to come by.  Dont you know that all that gliters is not gold. sad cool angry cry

Just pray and give that man a chance and you will see no element of that sight attraction you are taking about if God sanctions that he is your husband. smiley cheesy

CelebritiesRe: Rev Chris Okotie Weds Stephanie Henshaw by obybabe(f): 2:08pm On Aug 20, 2008
I know bible say one man one wife
and any man that divorces his wife and marry another while the wife is still alife is cimmitting adultry, same thing applicable to woman.

This is a bible quote, I wounder why it is a man who called himself a man of God that is violating that law. I wounder is he knows the biblical implications of what is has done.

May God be the judge and not man, but it is right to keep the word of God as a pastor and not to go contrary to it because the world is seeing and I wounder if he is encouraging his congragation as their Godly father to go contrary to the will of God.

If any member of his church does that what will be his jugdement and word of advice to them. Secondly, that means he cannot preach concerning this topic in his church anylonger cos he will not be preaching contrary to the Bible scriptures

CareerRe: Hnd: A Dust Certificate by obybabe(f): 10:58am On Jul 23, 2008
ishmael:
HND certificate is not the problem. The problem is the name of the school that awards the certificate; they call the school POLYTECHNIC. Polytechnics are not recognised or seen as a school for higher learning by some people and as such they discriminate or refuse to recognise the HND certificate issued by it. If HND was to be the name of the certificate being issued to university graduates no body will look down at it, because it is coming from a UNIVERSITY. Like wise let the name of the certificate issued by polytechnics be Bsc; they will still discriminate against the Bsc because it is coming from a POLYTECHNIC.
If that may be the case, the government should close anything called Polytechnic or rename them to suit what will enable the certificates (HND) award to be acceptable in the labour market.

Because this idea of saying that HND is equivalent to Bsc is quit complex because is not real. Assume it is real all these publications in the dailies will always request for Bsc or the equivalent but the reverse is the case.

Think well before you take any decision.

All I know is that you cannot equate 100k to 20k no matter the attachments to it.

I strongly believe that even in the firm where you are to receive 100k, there is going to be attachments too, so shine your eyes. shocked cool grin
CareerRe: Hnd: A Dust Certificate by obybabe(f): 10:23am On Jul 21, 2008
ade4prof:
The Higher National Diploma in Nigeria Honours from Polytechnic has be declared as Dust Certificate
This is a very serious matter that is likely going to affect many young Nigerians with the same certificate.
The rate at which job opportunities published in dailies are laying more emphasis on degree holders than Hnd holders.  (90% of degree holders and less than 10% of Hnd holders).
It think this situation must be handled before it becomes to late for the HND undergraduates
Jobs/VacanciesRe: Praise God For Me: My Job At Last by obybabe(f): 9:19am On Jul 14, 2008
Congrates, God has started a new thing life in you.

One thing is to go to school another thing is to finish and serve(NYSC) finally is to get an appointment of your choice and better renumeration.

Now you should be talking of practical experience or orientation and not theoretical experiences or orientations that was impacted in you in high institution.

My dear this level is going to determine your next step in the appointment cadre as in greater heights and opportunity. This is because with this exposure and experience you acquire what it takes to seek for job in highly reputable firms.

I pray that the God whom you acknowledged that grant you the grace to secure this job will still take you to greater heights in life if only you will trust and believe in HIM.

Keep moving and don't get faint. wink smiley cheesy cool
Jobs/VacanciesRe: Praise God For Me: My Job At Last by obybabe(f): 8:51am On Jul 14, 2008
Congrates for the appointment a year after NYSC.

You know one thing is to go to school, another is to finish and serve finally is to be attached to a firm or to get a job of your choice with better  and attracting renumeration.

This is your second step in work exposure, you know the NYSC is not the real thing rather this you have secured because here you are going to exhibit or explore all the skills you have gethered or acquired while in school.

This level is going to determine your next step in terms of greater height and opportunity.  If you can do well now by putting all effort to gain the practical skill of your cadre, it will benefit you and that is what is meant to be experience.  All this time you are theoretically oriented  or experienced but now we are looking at practical experience or orientation.

I pray that; that God whom you have acknowledged that granted you the grace to secure this job will take you to greater height and take you to kings, Amen. cool smiley cheesy
BusinessRe: Bad Experiences You've Had With Your Banks? by obybabe(f): 2:22pm On Jul 04, 2008
You are talking about Intercontinental and Zenith what about UBA

The last time I went to withdraw money from their Lagos branch I was meant to understand that if you withdraw anything less than 20k, they will discount certain percentage from ur savings.

Please, make una tell me, I use to think that when you open a savings account, the bank is bound to put interest in your savings rather the reverse is the case where you (client) pay them for using ur money for loan to other borrowers that pay them interest in your place.

This method is almost applicable to other banks now.  I don't know where we are heading to in this country. huh shocked shocked shocked

Hi "Secretary or (Personal Assistant)"
Hail to u all.

Pleased enough to come in contact with this forum of fellow intelligent and professional colleagues,  I am grateful to you all. I remembered when I was in campus we do call our colleagues "Learned Colleagues".

Gone through all your ideas, contributions and suggestions on how to assist one another in one buhaha or the other.  I am glad.

I am impressed especially on the ethical and moral aspect of exercising secretarial functions, the facts and tricks about the profession was enlisted and I know as it has been intimated to all, one can ascertain her stand as a professional secretary and endeavour to amend where she feels she is not standing.

Secondly, I am highly concerned with all your experiences as a Secretary or Personal Assistant to your different bosses in your various offices. You know there is a saying that experience is the best teacher.  When you undergo all these scenario of exposures, I strongly believe that nothing can push or shake you around in exercising your duty without fear or tremble no matter the treat on ground.

Cheers and keep it up till we meet again on this forum cool cheesy
