Few weeks back, the YABATECH senate also set up probe panel nd tried (its more of a trial than enquiry) the students leaders (SUG has long been suspended) who organised a peaceful protest for the opening of the hostel. Then it was 10 weeks of resumption with the hostels nt opened.
These guys wants to do as the please without anyone challanging the ego.
Honestly, education in Nigeria's citadel of learning nw sucks.

u are absolutely right. I think it has to do with our mentality as a people. There's usually a stigma that goes with rape victims in the society. So majority of the victims will prefer to remain quiet.
