FamilyRe: What Are Your Views On Divorce? by ocho(f): 12:09am On Dec 17, 2005
I personally don't like the idea of divorce and believe that a couple should try as best as they can to make thier marraige work(for better, for worse) but then i realize that sometimes, divorce is inevitable. I still would rather work things out than get a divorce.

@Michaela: what's up? welcome to NL, most especially to the world of the very best p-square fans wink
i'll try and help answer some of your questions, those are all pidgin words, well most of them are.  I suppose you know what the language pidgin is right?
ok, so if u say "yan", it means talk. for example, i could ask you "watin u dey yan?" i'm just asking you what u're talking about. Again, i could say i wan yan you something. it means i have something to tell you.
abeg-  means please
cram-  mean to know something off by heart, you get what i mean?  like committing  something to memory
jare-   means please(this isn't exactly pidgin, it's yoruba but it's quite a popular  term)
watin dem do police na- it's a question asking " what did they do to the police?"
i'm not a 100% sure of what soji means but a friend of mine said it means to make someone be at your mercy, like you get them to do what you desire. i guess HYPNOTIZE would be the word i am looking for. i'm not really sure so help me out here someone
feel free to keep asking if there's more you don't understand ok? wink and have a safe trip to Nigeria. you'll definately love it there wink one more thing, don't forget to pick up p2's new album smiley

Music/RadioRe: 'No More' Video by Genevieve Nnaji by ocho(f): 11:08pm On Dec 16, 2005
sswiwa:
all i want to know is why couldn't they at least get girls that could play the instruments that they were pretending to play?  surely, in all of ghana, there is a girl that can play a keyboard!!

the music was aiight, though.  ms. nnaji can't sing for s***, and i'm still very surprised at how razz she ends up looking at the end of the day, but i can't even lie, i had to bop my head once or twice.

if there's anything we should learn from this video, it's this: mediocre acting fame does not a singer make (this heifer actually imagines that she's a great actor sha), and african women need to please learn to stay away from white trousers...it ain't cute.
hahahahahahahaha. oh my! Genevive ooo, na who send you go do music video? u see watin u don cause for yourself cheesy

Soulful:
Ocho....

BTW whats morally wrong about a woman asking a guy out??
I didn't exaclyt say there was anything wrong in it, this is why i didn't even want to bring it up in the first place.I was just backing up a point i made to  Banderas about about the average nigerian girl.
@chilling; it's got to be the guy na, u no even supose think that one thru grin cheesy wink

RomanceRe: Man or Woman, Who Should Pay on a Restaurant Date? by ocho(f): 9:18pm On Dec 15, 2005
selfish ke? shocked shocked yee kpa! ok, another fact i know is that the average Nigerian girl won't ask a man out not becos she's selfish but becos of morals and stuff like that. i won't bother go into details about the morality stuff cos that's not the point. I also know for sure that the average Nigerian girl can and will pay for a meal if her man can't. She just loves being taken care of that's all! and that dosen't make her selfish at all.
RomanceRe: Most Romantic Thing a Nigerian Girl Has Done For You? by ocho(f): 9:07pm On Dec 15, 2005

@Snazzy: long time no talk/fight over 2-face cheesy  All the best with your new sweetie. Treat your selves well ok twinny? cheesy
So back to the topic,My answer, being the real Nigerian girl that i am, would be that the guy pays. Then again I guess it's only fair if whoever asks to go out pays. I observed though that most people in Canada believe that each person should pay for their meals, irrespective of who asked to go out. undecided  *i don't exactly like that idea*
