I personally don't like the idea of divorce and believe that a couple should try as best as they can to make thier marraige work(for better, for worse) but then i realize that sometimes, divorce is inevitable. I still would rather work things out than get a divorce. |
hmm, my parents choose my spouse for me? I don't even know how i feel about that right now but i'd definately rather choose him myself. @ seun: you daddy/mummy's boy!!! @omoge02863: what is an iyawo sara? ![]() |

@Michaela: what's up? welcome to NL, most especially to the world of the very best p-square fans ![]() i'll try and help answer some of your questions, those are all pidgin words, well most of them are. I suppose you know what the language pidgin is right? ok, so if u say "yan", it means talk. for example, i could ask you "watin u dey yan?" i'm just asking you what u're talking about. Again, i could say i wan yan you something. it means i have something to tell you. abeg- means please cram- mean to know something off by heart, you get what i mean? like committing something to memory jare- means please(this isn't exactly pidgin, it's yoruba but it's quite a popular term) watin dem do police na- it's a question asking " what did they do to the police?" i'm not a 100% sure of what soji means but a friend of mine said it means to make someone be at your mercy, like you get them to do what you desire. i guess HYPNOTIZE would be the word i am looking for. i'm not really sure so help me out here someone feel free to keep asking if there's more you don't understand ok? and have a safe trip to Nigeria. you'll definately love it there one more thing, don't forget to pick up p2's new album ![]() |

lexy: isn't that a good enough romatic gesture? the shirt fit cost 50grand oo I know the criteria for assesing a romantic gesture isn't all about money but that was worth mentioning. |
Soulful:I didn't exaclyt say there was anything wrong in it, this is why i didn't even want to bring it up in the first place.I was just backing up a point i made to Banderas about about the average nigerian girl. @chilling; it's got to be the guy na, u no even supose think that one thru ![]() |

haba! have mercy on people like me and just say what it is now.The last thing on this missy's mind is reading a novel so abeg now. |
@Snazzy: long time no talk/fight over 2-face All the best with your new sweetie. Treat your selves well ok twinny? ![]() So back to the topic,My answer, being the real Nigerian girl that i am, would be that the guy pays. Then again I guess it's only fair if whoever asks to go out pays. I observed though that most people in Canada believe that each person should pay for their meals, irrespective of who asked to go out. *i don't exactly like that idea* |
*Clears her throat and sings with an angelic voice* happy birthday to you, happy birthday to you, happy birthday dear VIKTOOOOOOOR, HAPPY BIRTHDAY TO YOU!!! how old are you now? how old are you now? how old are you noooooooow? how old are you now? may God bless you, may God bless you, may God bless yoooooooou!
