The estrange interview is most profound laughable. Barely 24hours after the test, sms were dished out calling for interview. Truth be told, 24 hours is too short a time to mark and score the test conducted. It is highly regrettable that inspite the change we sued for, nothing has changed in Naija.

Unlike the norm, some states are still sending sms to applicant inspite of the said national test written yesterday.

Lame excuse not to give ur bae a nice treat on val's day.

my brother I didn't go anywhere near the exam venue, infact, I left Benue state for Enugu. Everything for Benue state just dey different.

for those of u who submitted his/her credentials and did not invited u hve to understand d fact dat today's exam is meant for d degree holders alone, for d ND nd SSCE applicant, it will be another time hopefully very soon

some of the people who are yet to get an sms are Degree and HND holders.

Benue people, it seems our state has not called for exams. Let's be patient and wait for them. I think just one person "claimed" she got an SMS.

if she truly has got an sms, then it is possible she and others who may necessarily not be on this platform has.

My brother, I'm still waiting oooo. I submitted early January uptill now I haven't receive any text from them and I don't know anyone else that applied in Benue command to confirm.

i equally submitted in January and I'm yet to receive an sms

You can't gate crash if you didn't submit. If you have submitted then it's a different thing cause there's a list.

So even if you didn't see sms and your name is in the list, you are free to write the exam.

it is better not to write an exam one was not invited for because, in the first place, such person's exam may not even be recognise and honoured.

Tried calling the someone I know that can give me the right information for the venue of Osogbo but he's not picking.. .once I have it, I will let you know.

If you submitted in Osogbo and you have received a message, Just say the venue.. .let's help others

it's not just all about letting others know the venue, but it's all about the possibility of gatecrashing DSS test.

Evening everyone, here's the latest news so far though it's disappointing but here's the latest.

1. Each state is to recruit 5 each
2. The 5 slots are already taken even sef candidates plenty pass slot.
3. The exam is this Saturday.

I just got the news this evening. They decided not to shout it out to staffs except the senior ones who ask.

So you can all try to submit if you still want to.

Just imagine in Osun command, the governor has 3 candidates out of 5 not to mention other dignitaries.

God help us.

thank you for the timely info, i had intended travelling out of my State of Origin tomorrow. However, if these slots have been taken by the high and mighty, why then should the SSS stress us with the exams to be written?
Perhaps u will help clear the air all the more by educating us on why at first u were trying to convince us that there was no signal for recruitment to the states yet, within this short while, the SSS is about to call for exams.

For now, the cadre we dont know yet until the signal reach but I know that there would always be CADET SIO II that's for BSC holder and DETECTIVE for SSCE holder.

Why don't you send someone to the state headquarter to go and ask if they have started to receive application with that it will easy for you.

is cadet officer the same thing as cadet SIO II? Because some application i managed to see reads; ''application for cadet officer''.

Bro, if you are abreast with DSS, they do recruitment every two years the last being held in 2014. This is the period where applications are being submitted and as soon as budget is approved, they start the process of recruitment, this year might be different as the budget might be passed before the end of this month, so expect the recruitment to be faster than before

There's going to be a national signal that they should start collecting application. So the best is to wait when it starts even those that submitted in Ogun State were thrown away. Would inform when there's a signal for the recruitment.

Some people came yesterday to Osun command to submit, it was torn in their presence asking them to say who told them to come.

I repeat, it has not started.

as much as i believe you, something in me tells me that, if there isn't recruitment at the moment then how did the state command come to know that there would soon be a National Recruitment?

Sometimes i wonder in bewilderment, most people especially lawyers think their position on an issue is final hence sancrosanct. These fellows failed to understand that what they say is only but their personal opinions much like another layman's opinion and nothing else.

Haba, this is getting too much, perhaps after Boko Haram, the Nigeria Police is the second deadliest group in Nigeria.
