I guess because people complained of the one-party system, they found another way to appease Nigerians.

Nigerians are like an adage...always making loud noise.

Found another way to appease Nigerians? Funny you.

They spent time on social media.

Throughout the trial, Labour Party and PDP lawyers were discussing the matter on social media and mainstream media. We did not hear any of Tinubu or APC's lawyers speaking.

Labour Party filed a case and started making noise on social media instead of gathering evidence and arguing their petitions diligently at the tribunal. The tribunal was not sitting on social media.

Atiku went on a fishing expedition to Chicago State University when he realized he would lose at the tribunal. Instead of informing the tribunal he had new evidence, he kept fooling himself. When he got a depositon, he was excited and granted a press conference. He forgot to get the deposition notarized, stamped or even filed in the US District Court to give it a legal backing. He also forgot to amend his appeal and threw in evidence.

Did he ask the court to do anything with it?

Atiku, if you are reading, AVOID THE FOLLOWING PERSONS IMMEDIATELY:

(1) Dele Momodu; he misled you to grant World Press Conference and tweet nonsense without thinking.

(2) Timi Frank: he lied that Tinubu did not attend CSU and you ran with it a year later and ended up making a fool of yourself.

(3) Phrank Shaibu: he is a hungry media hypeman who only worked harder after you lost election.

(4) Daniel Bwala: he is confused.

(5) Don Pedro Obaseki: he was your head of research and should have advised you properly. He said Nigerians would have heart attacks if they disovered what Tinubu was hiding. He based his research on voodoo and pseudo-science. Fire him and AVOID HIM.

(6) David Hundeyin: he is an unethical journalist and a journalist for hire. He built stories on conspiracies appealing only to headless people. You ran with it and he messed you up.

(7) Nduka Obaigbena: he is a businessman and was alleged to have taken funds belonging to his colleagues sometime in 2014. He returned some of the funds though. He was also banned from holding office in any company in the UK for financial misconduct. As an alleged media veteran, he ought to have advised you on the best way to use the media. Those press conferences broadcasted live by Arise News were not necessary. The time should have been spent gathering much needed evidence and filing them properly.

(8 ) Paul Ibe: we never heard his voice until after you lost election. He doesnt believe in you.

(9) Dino Melaye: honourable mention.

(10) Ifeanyi Okowa: since you lost, he abandoned you.

(11) Peter Obi: he is an ingrate who cost you the election.

Atiku, your truest friend in this game is Senator Ben Obi. Hold him tight.

Brilliant write up.

Oshimili south was crazily OBIdient. Infact the entire Delta north was on fire for LP. PDP agents begged and cajoled Obidients with everything possible, seeing the result of the Presidential election, to vote for PDP. Okowa lost his sleep and his phones could answer even the most common people in Delta state. If the governorship election was held the same day as the Presidential election, Ken Pela would be the governor today.

Even if both elections were held same day, Ken Pela would still have taken the position he took.

Many people voted LP during the Presidential election. But for Guber polls, na between APC and PDP.

Politics in Delta State is local.

As for that statement Sherriff made in church, I was present in that service. It doesn't mean he had sympathy for LP.

But you see the infrastructure development in Lagos.

Ordinary Intra city bus, called (Uduaghan bus) Delta state could not maintain it beyond 4 years.
What is really working in Delta state?

Even Borno state without oil allocation and Ebonyi state , Kano, Kaduna without Oli allocation, both of them have more infrastructure development than Delta state
Travel and see, you will know most states in Nigeria have left you behind in Delta.

About Delta Intra City bus, it's for Okowa to answer why he discontinued it.

About Ebonyi State being more developed than Delta State, you lie!

The only developed city in Ebonyi is Abakaliki. I've been there so I know.

Afikpo isn't developed; Ohaozara isn't developed, Ishiagu isn't developed.

But Delta State is a multi-city State, with all parts competing for development.

Even the great Rivers State (that came into existence in 1967), is a one-city State.

Omo Agege appears to have been sidelined on the federal level. It may be quite tasking for APC to dislodge PDP in Delta state. This year was the closest.

Some APC leaders in Delta have been lamenting over the exclusion from positions.

Omo Agege formed an alliance with Labour Party during the last election, so he cant be rewarded by Jagaban.

If you understand how indebted Delta State is today with the huge Federal Government allocation, you will understand that Julius Berger contract is a distraction. Moreover, Sheriff is looking for projects to be used to mark his 100 days in office. No need to clebrate yet.

Lagos State is more indebted than Delta State. So that is not the issue.

Fact is Sheriff has started on a very good note by awarding this contract.

I pray that the Government favours Delta State. The infractural backwardness of Delta State even though she has one of the highest allocation from the Federal Government is alarming. The leaders have all been wasting the resources of the State. If they can kill godfatherism in Delta State, I believe that the State can do better.

I think Governor Sherrif Oborevwori has started on a good note by awarding road construction projects to Julius Berger Construction Company.

The Election Petition Tribunal has affirmed Sheriff Oborevwori as the governor of Delta State.

POLITICS NIGERIA reports that the tribunal dismissed the petition of All Progressives Congress (APC) governorship candidate Ovie Omo-Agege in his bid to overturn the March 18 governorship election victory of Oborevwori.

Justice C.H Ahuchaogu, in a four-hour judgement, held that the petitioner could not prove the case of substantial non-compliance with the Electoral Act against the Governor (second respondent).

Ahuchaogu also ruled that the petitioner failed to prove that Governor Oborevwori was not duly elected by the majority of lawful votes cast.

No one is condemning the current state governor, what I am saying is the level of corruption in that state from the days of James Ibori till the last previous administration of Okowa, that state has no business to be poor, including it's citizens, where a commissioner steals 2 billion naira, then what about the governor.

That is not the issue on ground.

Corruption cuts across all political parties.

If you have any proof that a Commissioner in the Delta State Government stole N2bn, then write a petition to the anti-graft agencies and back it up with evidence.

Simple!

I guess the current governor is in the good books of the elder states man,if not he would not be singing and praising him, Delta State is one of the oil producing states in the south South region and with high earnings from the federal government sharing formula, I think the second, after Akwa Ibom or Rivers States, but today in Delta State it's a state of nothing to write home about, the leaders keep sharing the resources of that state.

Ogbeni...Governor Sherrif Oborevwori awarded the road construction project to Julius Berger.

Why not commend him for that one singular action?

Why una be like this sef?

I have been pondering over this issue:

What happened to the Uduaghan transport scheme?

What happened to the Uduaghan buses?

It was a very nice business concept in the transportation sector by the administration of Former Governor Emmanuel Uduaghan of Delta State.

It made transportation cost cheap.

I still wonder why Former Governor Ifeanyi Okowa didn't continue with it.

Back then in school, every social groups wants to visit Tinapa. They also wants to see the Obodo Cattle Ranch as Duke really invested in these projects including the facelift of Calabar carnival.

Duke is a modern leader with foresight...
That state made money from tourism
Tinapa made Cross Rivers State one of the most indebted states. It was a project financed with loans and was unsustainable.

Imoke and Ayade couldn't do much because they had to service these loans.

Tinapa was a white elephant project.
