Many cars are even more enjoyable on interstate trips. Drove my dad's 1987 Camry for years before he got a 09 Sequoia and that machine was a horse on long trips.

Manual drivers and expert drivers know you don't shift too frequently on long trips and there is this vibe and style that comes with shifting gears.
