Kogi protesters storm APC secretariat over Audu’s emergence

SEPTEMBER 2, 2015 : JOHN ALECHENU, ABUJA

Dozens of placard-carrying protesters on Wednesday besieged the National Secretariat of the All Progressives Congress to protest against the emergence ‎of Abubakar Audu as the party’s governorship candidate.
Audu defeated 27 other contestants to emerge as the party’s flag bearer in the forthcoming Kogi State governorship election.
While the candidate was waiting to collect his certificate of return, scores of protesters, carrying placards, stormed the gate of the secretariat, urging the party to get a credible candidate to fly its flag.
Some of the placards had such inscriptions like ‎’Kogi State say o to Audu’, ‘We need a credible leader’, ‘APC, do the right thing’.
Leader of the protesters, who gave his name as Sulaiman Mohammed, told newsmen that the people of the state deserved a better candidate.
Audu’s supporters, who were still inside the party secretariat with their principal, were still being mobilised as of the time of this report.
Details later…

OP, your sense of judgment is poor. How can you rate Omenka ahead of barcanista?

You've just rated Android Tecno ahead of Apple iPhone

So unfortunate.
Sir
If you read thru my comments, I said the order is random, its not abt rating, I said the likes they get would show how popular they are

I'm not a newbie bro

Musiwa is on holiday, I can't remeber the last time any of his toic hit front page. By the way if you want to laugh your stress off, find your way to his thread. He's popular too but even of recent not as introvert. Maybe someone banned him from NL tho

I will update the list soon. All these guyz have something in common; they strong intellectually and exposed. I can't count the numbers of likes I'v given them tho I don't always agree with their opinions sometimes
PoliticsRe: 10 Most Popular Nairalanders by odave(op): 3:27pm On Aug 30, 2015
I think someone should take the rest. Having these guyz in a team would work if one of them work as a layer, another as PRO etc. But those first to comment guyz, I'd rather use them as ADC so that tthey won't have time FTC grin

The order is nothing to worry about, it is random, there's no seniority there, the on only way to know who is more popular is by mentioning their namess and the numbers of likes they get
Politics10 Most Popular Nairalanders by odave(op):
Foremost I must say this is my opinion, based on what I read and see on Nairaland, these are the 10 most popular and controversial Nairalanders

1. Omenka
He's a party man no doubt, he's progressive, very intelligent and have many followers. His strength lies in what he believed. He will always counter his opponent with intelligent reasoning, he's objective and very good at play of word. Sir, even if you are a paid agent, I respect you sir. Try and be more objective in your analysis.

2. Barcanista
I believe he's the boldest nairalander. He switched side recently and was bashed and called names but he stood by what he believed. Kudos to you. I know you are a party man but you are doing a great job sir. Barcanister hardly resort to abuse even when pushed to the wall, he write in good english. I respect your openness, ingenuity and intelligence. Please try and concede to your opponent if need be, it won't reduce who you are it adds to you.

4.Egift
He/she is one of rare ones on NL. Very controversial like his fellow party men. Liked by many hated by many. There's no doubt about how intelligent he/she is. This is someone you would love to have in your team. Enduring abuse isn't easy but he/she is somehow guilty of that too, maybe when frustrated. You are surely a gift to nairaland. Countering your opponents with facts made you stand out keep it up.

3. Temitemi
Some say he's robot, but I believe he's not. He hardly create thread but he's always on NL politics section. When you see his comment you don't need to doubt which side he will be. I respect you consistency and dedication. Yes you are free to your own opinion in choosing anyone you like as your hero. You are not always right but not always wrong as well but try and be more real, improve on your short comments, learn to make more friends and not more enemies

4. Obiageli
Maybe I can call her ironlady of Nairaland. She's intellectually strong, she won't argue blindly or quickly resort to abuse. She's been with progressives for sometime now and she's unwavering in what she does. Ma, you will make a good PR. Someone might come to nairaland someday to get some people to work with, I'm sure you could be choosing. Your followers and your opponents can't deny how intelligent you are and the aura of authority that reflects in your threads. Ma, my advice is that no one is an angel, if need be try to always agree with your opponents view

5. Lalasticlala
To me he's the most popular NL mods. There are some like ishlove and obinoscopy. They are hardworking moderators. Lalasticlala is a blessing to Nairaland. Even if you are new on NL there's no day people won't mention him. Its as a result of hardwork. May God bless you lala.

There are more people who are very popular and as well controversial on nairaland. Because some people won't be able to read because its long I will just mention their names. You are free to add yours. My opinion

6. Ngenekwenu: very controversial, loved by many hated by many. Ngenekwenu is loved by many no doubt, I believed the person using that moniker is a female. No doubt her post always pull crowd, not necessarily her friends alone. She's definitely one of the most bashed nairalanders. Most of her critics might be abusive but I think she has a very thick skin which I believed is a thing to cherish. My advice ma, always try to verify you news and be fair in your analysis. You know where you strength lies, use it more

7. Introvert. I see something in her though, her dedication. She will be the first to comment on most threads and I believe that the calls for concern really. Could she be using 5G network? Is she always on NL? She no get work? Hmm, ma I believe if you channel such dedication and consistency to something profitable, you will excel. I respect your ability to let insults sink but please many would want to know your secret of FTC cheesy

8. Lady F.
Oops! She's the twin sister of Introvert but not as fast as her. You will see her too on popular threads definitely on front page with her signature '' its Lady F again grin ''.

9.
9. Severusnapes: a very strong moniker on NL. I believe many feared him because he has a brittle tongue lol, and no one won't want to cross his path. His presence in any thread is always meaningful. His unflinching believe in whatever / whoever he supports makes him standout as many of his followers can testify to it. He's one of the person you would love to have in your team.

10. Chukwdi44: hate him or love him, he's like a moving train, I envied his popularity. His analysis of whatever being discussed made him to standout as many would go along with his analytical reasoning. He's really a blessing to NL because mmost times his opinion counts as you can see from the numbers of like he always pulled.

There are many more popular monikers. You are free to add yours. I made it top ten but the order is not of seniority or rating one above the other it is random, however you can post their names and see the numbers of likes they get. Feel free to add yours

Thanks all

Why are you guyz doubting this thing nah? Instead of you to pray for your own lucky day wch might not be betting or gambling you are here saying its a lie. I even saw both tickets here on NL. God please when its my turn to get lucky don't let anything stop me from playing such a game like these.

I can boldly say I'v won over 200k in this bet of a thing and I'v not spent up to 20k. I'm not encouraging anyone to start betting coz it doesn't work for everybody, but for me so far so good I have no regret. smiley

I'd rather gamble and win 50 million naira that steal 50 million naira from public fund through my pen

Here are the tickets

How I wish you guys do more than download materials online...fyi there's nothing like ife dam, it was abandoned 4 years ago, they just clear the bush there and did somethings that looks like foundation and they abandoned it. I visited the place not quite long, you won't be able to identify the place because of over grown bush

Also, maybe you should try a visit lagos - ibadan expressway then you will know that for someone to call that a complete project work then the person is crazy

And that of OAUTHC, I think op is joking. Plz guyz never believe everything you read online 70% of them are nothing but lie. Try and do your own research before you believe anything
