Take it from me, I've read that article and it has been discountenanced as trash. It couldn't even pass the simplest test of a scientific peer review process, no respectable journal on laboratory medicine, molecular science or genetic studies accepted to publish it not even 'pirate journals' would touch with a long pole.

It ended up as a laughable article on blogs.
What are the chances that that simp that came to your lab had a son that looked exactly like his next door neighbor but had his DNA.

This is real. In the old days women or girls who lost their virginity where considered tainted and impure and carrying the genes of their sex mates.

Oga listen and listen carefully, I'm a Medical Laboratory Scientist and a specialist in DNA molecular testing.
I once got a call from a man who called me to seek specialist advice on DNA testing.

The first question he asked me was 'Is it possible for my son to look like my neighbour yet my biological son?
I was thrown off balance by the funny question, but I lectured him that the only 'proof of paternity' is through DNA testing.
He responded that he has done the DNA testing before, the test confirmed that the boy carries his DNA, yet he looks like his next door neighbour.

I told him to come around for a confirmation, he came with the boy and we repeated the test, he even showed the picture of the man on his phone, yes there was a relative level of resemblance between the little boy and the guy in the pictures but our test confirmed again that he was the father of the boy and not the neighbour he suspected.

Looks can be deceptive bro.
DNA is the only true test of paternity not looks.
Hold on there cowboy...

The worst thing about this whole thing is that Shola was ready to have another man raise his child.

That woman would have caused generational problems.

The wahala she caused in her short life was too much.

She had no problem cheating on her husband and having OP to accept it in the name of love.

OP needs to understand the implications of sleeping with another man's wife and also come to terms that if her marriage was not such a disaster, Shola would have raised her son with another man as his father.

Women. Fear them.

What a sad ending for Shola.
I wish you all the very best in life.
Shola was the worst thing to happen to that man.

She left him twice.

Had a baby for him but pinned it on some one else in order to get married.

When that didn't work she came back to OP.

She then carry her winch and made him lose his job and entire savings.

Dude breaks his back doing every menial job from brick-maker to conductor to feed her and her kids but this wasn't enough for her.

OP sells his laptop and fridge and she isn't even seeing the sacrifice.

OP nearly got into some diabolical sh!t involving yahoo++ but rightfully backs down.

OP literally was about to suck dik for her.... Jeezus! And would have even risked a one-way ticket to a Thai execution appointment over drug smuggling just to please Shola who by the way was doing practical next to nothing other than jumping from one dik to another while OP simps away looking for how to feed her lazy ingratious ass.

I know she is dead and gone and we must not speak ill of the dead but that woman was trouble.

If she was still alive she would have ruined OP's life.

The sound track to this thread must be by a solo violinist.

Depression is no joke. Thank God you are picking your life back together and you now have Samuel as an inspiration to have someone to live for.

But, your Shola no try.

God took her away from you so you can survive the temptations she laid for you.

I am sorry to say this and also sorry to judge, but Shola would have made your life a living hell.

She drove you on three occasions into desperate situations. And when you overcame those situations, she left you.

In my book she was the architect of your problem and not some one to cherish.

I have been in your shoes once and had a girl I cherished, loved and did all in my power to take care of. But she cheated on me.

I broke up with her immediately I sensed her cheating on me. Note: I did not catch her with any man but knew things had changed and that she was seeing some one else in my back while still pushing me to get married to her. I even met her folks and was planning on the traditional wedding when I realized she was cheating. I called it quits immediately. She went apeshit after that and did all she could to smear me before her's and our friends as well as her family. I was busy drinking and partying to let it bother me until one day I got sick of hanging out and banging oloshos. It is that time of quiet I began to miss her. I started to have doubts in what I knew where my gut instincts which later held up less than a week of our break up when she began openly dating some guy and posting pics with him from vacation in Obudu ranch. All this and I still wanted her back.

You know why so... because when you truly love some one just as you loved Shola, it is almost never easy to walk away from them. I started to review every moment I had with her, every kiss, every laughter and every fight we had and began to think maybe I did not give it my best. Maybe I wasn't caring or passionate enough. Maybe she deserved more than what I had to offer. At this point I got depressed not from losing her but over my self perceived failures. It took me 5 years after breaking up with her to get into a fully commited relationship again which led to marriage. Do I still think of my ex.... yes I do. Every other 3 or 4 days she comes to my mind. It could be a song playing on the radio or a familiar scent or perfume, a bust of laughter... just reminds me of her. Do I still love her... maybe. Remember you never ever fall out of love with some one. Do I still want her.... never.

If anything my ex thought me to love myself. Now that I am married, I am commited to my wife and my kids and will not trade them for anything in the world.

tl;dr: Forget Shola. It will be hard, painful and slow. You will get someone who deserves you. Remember that every breakup is one jerk away from your true love.

Good luck.
HealthCOVID-19 And 5G Conspiracy Nonsense by ODB2(op): 8:46pm On Apr 04, 2020
Whenever their agenda is exposed they will first try as much as possible to label it as ''conspiracy theory''. Then they follow-up by issuing their own brazen conspiracies to discredit the real conspiracy that was revealed. This is how the CIA works. They are the ones who even invented the term ''conspiracy theory''.

Their latest attempt now is to some how blame 5G for the Chinese Virus.

5G is dangerous. No doubt about that. It relies on high frequency waves with very small wavelengths which do affect body cells. The US American Medical Association has since labelled conventional 3 and 4 G tower radiation as a CLASS 2B carcinogenic. 5G network will allow for a higher cluster of cell towers especially in urban areas to the tune of 100 in every square kilometer because of the interference from buildings.

5G technology isn't even beneficial to the average Joe as there is no way you will need such high volume download speeds. It will be good to download a movie or large document in less than a minute when compared to a download speed of over 10 minutes with conventional 4 G technology. Other than that there is no benefit to a typical average smart phone user. When 5G was being tested in South Korea, nobody could tell the difference in speed which 5G is being hyped for. Why? Because all apps have been optimized for 4G. There are no apps available to optimize 5G use.

What we can not dissociate however is 5G's potential use and deployment in a massive spying campaign.

The Chinese govt so happens to be the most nosy govt on the planet as it is obsessed to a fault in monitoring every move its citizens.

The truth is 5G technology will be under govt or powerful corporations.

The main connection with 5G and Corona pandemic so happens to be the ID2020 program. 5G will make it seamless to track and monitor individuals on a large scale when you get their implant.

In conclusion, 5G is one of the tools that will assist in making Bill Gates' ID2020 possible. To get people to take his implant, they unleashed this virus on the earth. After taking their vaccine, you will be chipped and from there their 5G network will be monitoring your every move.
PoliticsReminder That Slavery Was Abolished In Northern Nigeria In 1936! by ODB2(op): 2:29pm On Apr 04, 2020
The significance of the subject should be evident from the fact that the Sokoto Caliphate in northern Nigeria was one of the largest slave societies in the world throughout the nineteenth century.

When British rule was first imposed on the caliphate and the surrounding areas at the turn of the twentieth century, approximately 2 million to 2.5 million people there were slaves, a figure 50% higher than the total number of Brazilian slaves at abolition in 1888, and the equivalent of approximately 60% of all slaves in the South of the United States at the time of the Emancipation Proclamation.

The ending of slavery in Nigeria constituted the last great episode of slave emancipation worldwide, though completing the process there lasted several decades, down to the eve of World War II.

Nigeria was probably the most important example in which slavery was to a significant extent ended institutionally by means of the slaves' buying their own freedom. British objections to slavery, slave raiding, and the slave trade provided initial justification for imperial expansion into and then conquest of northern Nigeria, first by the Royal Niger Company and then from 1900 by British government forces.

The crucial figure in establishing the British presence in Nigeria was of course Frederick Lugard, well known for his role in forging the system of indirect rule in Africa. One of the points established in this study that has not been clearly recognized before is that Lugard's indirect rule approach was closely tied to the issue of slavery and the problems of dealing satisfactorily with it from the British point of view.

During the conquest (1897-1903) and soon thereafter, Lugard effectively stopped slave raiding, which caused social and political instability throughout the region. He was also firm in taking steps to curb the slave trade, for similar reasons. However, on the question of slavery itself, his attitude was much more qualified and complex, based as it was on a desire to maintain order and stability in the newly acquired territories.

Despite opposition from various quarters, including the abolitionists, Lugard eventually managed to have his own approach accepted as official policy. That approach involved several components. His administration quickly took steps to stop the widespread flight of slaves from their masters, which had been the early spontaneous response to British antislavery rhetoric during the period of conquest. At the same time, although British law granted no legal status to slavery, Islamic law (which did recognize slavery) was recognized by the British and remained in force in the northern Nigerian emirates. In addition, although women slaves were not classified in British law as slaves, they were identified as dependent family members of households headed by the males who had owned them, and hence still as legally subordinated to those males.

Lugard's approach was nevertheless not just a legal subterfuge for accepting the status quo. Instead he put into force mechanisms that would weaken the institutions of slavery, but would do so gradually. Most notably, he ended the heritability of slavery by enacting legislation according to which any child born to slaves after 1901 was deemed to be born free. In addition, his administration affirmed the option of slaves being able to redeem themselves.

Lugard's strategy, adapted from British experiences in India and east Africa, was geared to maintaining political, economic, and social stability in the short and medium terms, while undermining slavery in the long term as fewer and fewer people were born into slave status.

Slavery will eventually be abolished altogether in 1936!

As in Dantata? lol...what won't i see on Nairaland
Dantata was nicknamed that name over his closeness to a slave who nursed him (Tata).

Dantata was heavily involved in agriculture farming. He made his money from produce from his many slave plantations and from other plantations in the feudal north.

He was the largest depositor of First Bank when it opened in Nigeria. He made a deposit of 30 camel loads of silver. How you think he got so rich.

He is descended from a lineage of Fulani jihadist and slavers.

Slavery only got abolished in the north as late as 1938. Google it.
PoliticsWhy Nigerian Soldiers Are The Way They Are by ODB2(op): 2:09pm On Apr 04, 2020
The American Military is considered as the greatest fighting machine ever built. This is not only due to their level of sophistication and use of highly advanced technology in their warcraft, but it boils down to the very essence of American militarism. America is the only nation on earth with a truly voluntary army. Young teenage boys join the Marines because it offers them adventure, travel and the chance to ''blow sh!t up''. Unlike Nigeria, your average grunt chose the army as a source of employment. Those grunts threatening the good people of Warri with rape and HIV transmission were nobody 2-3yrs ago. The army not only provided a means of livelihood but also an identity and status.

The Nigerian Military is one of very few sovereign armies never to have been engaged in an actual conflict with an outside Nation or external force. The Nigerian Military was designed by the British to curb insurrection against Colonial rule and to maintain the franchise known as Nigeria. The civil war was what the Nigerian Army was designed to do. The closest Nigerian Army has ever gotten to an actual conflict with another Nation was in the 80's. Nigeria was forced to back down after the French vowed to assist Cameroun with all their might. Boko Haram is a nightmare to the Nigerian Army establishment because the myth surrounding the Nigerian Soja has been debunked by a bunch of apprenticed soldiers drawn from the dredges of northern society. The Mai ruwas, Mai suyas and Mai shais and the likes are who make up the bulk of BH. If these civilians can transform themselves to a fighting machine and wage a war of insurrection against the Nigerian state for 10 years and counting that should tell you of how incompetent the Nigerian Army is. Consider also how many theater commanders and COAS has Shekau outlived then you will understand that our military is in dire need of a major overhauling.

Those Sojas threatening Warri people know that the only thing they have is the myth of invincibility. Take that away from them and the entire Nigeria will be one big Sambisa forest. Of what gain is it to them when their only moral booster (instilling fear on civilians) and perk benefit of being a Soja is gone.

Dangote built his refinery to function without Niger Delta oil, he intentionally went far off Niger delta because of silly talks like this.. he co sponsored Lagos to build a jetty/port at ibeju lekki free trade zone to cut Nigerian off his business,

.
This is a big lie.

Dangote is already constructing an underwater pipeline that will supply crude from the Niger Delta to his refinery.
he intends to buy and ship crude from who ever is selling that's why he never bothered to run cheaper pipe to Niger Delta but built a port ..
Look at the foolishness in this post.

How can sourcing crude with forex from overseas be cheaper.

Does that not replace the same import imbroglio his refinery is meant to address.

Dangote is a third generation billionaire, his fourth ancestors tilled the land for groundnut, calling a 4th generation rich man dependant on government is shameful
Dangote's maternal grandfather was nothing short of a plantation manager.

All those groundnut pyramids they used to boast of was from slave plantations (google : Rinji plantation)

I said it that they will start and end their palliative to northerners in the north and ignore the over-sabi cowardly loud mouths in that urban jungle.

Next thing they will do is enforce the lock-down with brutal force.

When you are at the point of somali hunger levels, Billy Boy will step in and there will be a mass vaccination effort from door to door.

You will be offered money, food and your freedom as long as you take Billy Boy's vaccine and complimentary implant.

You will accept. You that has no problem selling your votes and has considered seriously selling your left kidney, what is a vaccine and an implant sef.

After birth rates drop drastically in your fetish region and in 10-20 yrs you become a sterilized eunuch, they will send their Fulanis in mass to take-over your region.

The great population reduction and displacement plan ends in your ability to resist hunger and cowardice.
